Could we hate that banner any more than we do?? Why can't it be more narrow and not over the articles??

That banner is the most annoying thing.. I'd like to be able to read what I'm looking at instead of having to scroll... Either put a "close (X)" button in it, or it should be narrower and less wide (moved to left).
