I'm sensing a kinship here. Please check out this information.

Read some facts from the old guys lips. Direct Quotes. Not the fantasy that's being pushed by History Revisionists.

  2. Thats a much better interview.

  3. Yes, an interview that emphasizes his music, his CD...that should be the focus. Even his personal life should be private, IMO. So glad to hear that these interviews aren't drudging up anything last year. Starting fresh...this is the year for Adam and the LambertNation - my new name for the fanbase.

  4. Really good interview! All about the music. Too bad Adam is sick and will miss his last performance. But he needs to get well and come home safe. Anyone planning to meet him at the airport in LA?

    QX Note Cancellation
Attention Glamberts! Due to illness, we regret to inform you that Adam will not be performing on QX Note this evening. Adam hopes to make it up to you when he returns to Sweden and wishes all of the nominees the best of luck.

I think you're on the wrong site. This is an Adam Lambert loving site. Go away.

  7. Awwww He's sooo much in love.

    Adam's message re the cancellation:

"Ladies and gentleman, I’m so sorry I won’t be able to attend the gala tonight. I was really excited to be a part of the evening but I seem to have caught a violent flu bug that’s been going around. I was resting this afternoon feeling a little strange but when it came time to head out for soundcheck I got so dizzy I couldn’t stand. it hit me so fast. I’m sure you can imagine how singing such an intense song just isn’t possible in the state I’m in.
I promise to somehow make it up to you in the near future. Good luck to all the nominees and I hope all the guests have a great evening.
    Thank you for your understanding.
    -Adam Lambert"

I'm sure they will take good care of him. Rest, plenty of liquids and get well soon, dear BB!

    @ Anon 3:21 p.m.

I stated my post was Off Topic and addressed it to specific tags...reference to discussion on Adam Lambert Performs at Swedish showcase Feb 5 thread. Are you one of the tags addressed? Obviously not.

  11. @Minnie Mouse - thank you for that suggestion. Will certainly look up the info. mentioned. And it's obvious how intimidating the truth is to some people. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but not their own facts. Didnt put that in quotes since it's not exactly right but you get the idea. Dont know who came up with that quote but I love it! ... And dont go away! We need sane voices here on this Adam Lambert loving site. ... Adamluv

  12. Good interview - all about Adam's music, and it's Adam who brings up his love life, not the interviewer. I'm sure it's very disappointing for him that he's ill and he can't perform but his health comes first.

  14. @MINNIE MOUSE thanks. Very interesting. Fuel.

  15. I don't know how to find out about his flight no. or anything. I don't live on the west coast. It would be nice to have some fans greet him if possible. While we're sharing about Adam being sick, etc. let's not forget to keep requesting BTIKM and watching the video on the various site. Can't shirk our fan duty!

  16. I can't believe Adam's Charity Water campaign is just barely over $40K at this point. Last year, by this time, we had far surpassed this amount.

If you find it in your heart, this is a great charity and every dollar helps.

  18. Great interview! Love all the adds Adam is getting. We got BTIKM played first on Q102 Philly takeover 8:00-9:00 Eastern time. Then twice on Chicago 101.9 wtmx mix it up 8:00. I think it goes to midnight. These are important spins ,they are top 40 stations!

  19. @anon7:06 I noticed the charity water donations are slow this year too. Maybe we can all donate for Valentine's Day. I don't have twitter but if someone wants to send the word out maybe that would help.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Another suggestion is to post the charity water site on your facebook page. This, also, may help those numbers

This may also get future fans to look up Adam and his wonderfulness.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well blow Taio Cruz and Flo Rida...it should have been ADAM
    and 'BTIKM hitting those airways.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I just love the way Adam keeps bringing the interview back to the music, which IS what it's all about...and then tender moments from Adam's heart when it comes to love.

    ReplyDelete
  23. GREAT interview... one of the best about his MUSIC and what he's learned. Not the usual standard rehash. How touching to hear Adam say HIMSELF he's fulfilled in finding the REAL love he's been longing for.

Agree with 11:31 ...after a great interview like that, play ADAM's new music. (The other half of my brain said -- oh cool he's on a station with those other cool guys who's music is hot now...) Get his name heard and said... and play HIS music too.

  24. About Charity water

The last campaign was fueled a bit by the $100 donations to receive the autographed photo. They should offer the recent Lee Cherry photo of Adam in his Batman cape and the numbers would jump. We may be charitable but maybe just a little bit self seeking too.

  25. @ Minnie Mouse

Boy, can you start a conversation! I looked up the google suggestion you posted. It was the liveliest dinner conversation we've ever had, even the teenagers joined in.
A free wheeling 3 generation political and religious fiesta. And you made me a hero. When some politico or newsanchor makes a statement as fact and the kids turn to me, I say "look it up". I want my kids to be interested in the coming election and aware of the lies lies lies we are fed. We have a small wellworn booklet on the tv stand. It's called the
Constitution of the U.S., it's been there since Sarah Palin was pulled out of the beautiful state of Alaska some years ago and started her inane speeches with made up facts. My mantra was "look it up". It still is.

Minnie, are you a political science major? N.S.

  26. God created Man and Woman. If more people would have a form of christianity or a type of religious faith in their day to day living, the world would be a better place. To deny ones God is a tradgedy. Faith will get you through.
    Peace!

  27. Minnie Mouse, you are quite right. This country was founded on freedom OF religion (to believe whatever or not to believe at all) Glad you young people are finally catching up. I think your beef is with a small group of extremists.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Actually our country was settled on freedom from religion. The people who came here were fleeing their countries who had state religions. They had been tortured, jailed and even executed because their religious belief was different. They came here for refuge and the right to worship in their own way or as you said, not worship at all.

The so called founding fathers were very specific about our country not repeating the mistakes and prejudices they had left behind. No where in the Constitution they wrote, is God, a Creator or Jesus mentioned. N.S.

  29. OT again,
@anon 8:28 I believe what you said wholeheartedly but I also believe in Separation of Church and State, otherwise you have wars that never end and governments that are broken just like in the good ol U.S of A.!

  30. Agony. I've been sitting in one spot for hours reading The Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, Constituton, Bill of Rights, etc.
MINNIE MOUSE you got me started on this. I'd forgotten so much from school, I didn't understand it then, now I do and it's fascinating. However I'm numb from the waist down. School out,
for the day.Time for late lunch.
    Class dismissed.

  31. @Minnie Mouse, OT Interesting link to clarify our Constitution and the intents of our forefathers that created it. Thankyou. I have always had a clear understanding of the importance of separation of church and state because of the chaos and bloodshed when one religion has too much power. I respect everyone's right to worship as they choose, or not. That is a personal decision and not to be inflicted on those that believe differently. More wars, torture and bloodshed has occurred as a result of religion than any other cause. The Spanish Inquisition is a clasic example, as well as Pilgrims burning so called witches at the stake, etc. Unfortunately, there is a religious movement trying to gain political power to inflict their views on a diverse nation that are free thinkers and hold more scientific, factual views. Our government was made to represent all people fairly and equally. That includes LBGT citizens that also pay taxes, fight for our country, etc. I was raised a Protestant, but have evolved as a free thinker, unafraid or intimidated to read and listen to other points of view. I believe in a supreme being, but am no longer religious, but spiritual. It works for my intellect and peace. I,by no means discount anyone elses views or faith. We all follow our own path to evolve to be better human beings and that is my point. Govt. has no place in determining our diverse individual paths. It must be our personal right and freedom. My views are not necessarily right, but they are my conclusions with the information I have acumulated in my many years of life. You each have yours that are equally valid and important. I have no intent to offend or recruit to my way of thinking, other than to support the Constitution with the intent it was written. Adam suffers persecution on a daily basis because of moral judgements of humans that think it is their right. I disagree...I realize this is an Adam lambert site and scroll on if you prefer. Adam has addressed these same issues and it does directly, personally affect him and his rights as a citizen.

  32. @ Minnie Mouse, OT My great grandaughter is 4 and recently went to Disney for the first time dressed as one of the princesses for her birthday, She is in love with Minnie Mouse and sleeps with her Minnie doll every night and takes her everywhere. When she gets older it may be an Adam doll! This interview was much better than the lame eyeliner one.Hope he and the band are better and able to fly home.

Brava! Give you folks a subject and you run with it. I've loved reading your posts.

@ funbunn40______I am certain you and JAK are soul sisters, when I read your comments it's like chatting away with her. You'd really like each other.

Don't tell your great granddaughter but not only am I Minnie, some days I'm Mickey or even Jiminy Cricket! I fit in the smaller costumes! I love the interaction with our younger guests at the park.

@ N.S._______You got it! Political Science. Someday this little mouse hopes to scurry the halls of the White House!

Does Neil still have a girlfriend?
We have a lot in common and I'm looking!
