Whoa! Red pants, nice velvety Adam hat, trinkets, buckles and bands for a star-studded Divas event. This will be an Adam limelight show...will open another door for him, as a show host for big events to come.

ADAM LAMBERT Will Perform Madonna Song At ‘Divas’
ReplyDeleteMadonna is obsessed with ADAM LAMBERT, which, of course, we don’t find even the least bit surprising.
Adam went on Big Morning Buzz Live to talk about the upcoming Divas show he’s hosting, and he revealed a fun tidbit of what we can expect. He’ll be performing a Madonna song, by personal request from the singer herself.
Madonna was able to choose which diva she wanted to sing one of her songs. “Apparently she asked for me,” said Lambert. “So I may just be doing a song for Madonna this week. So it’s going to be very divalicious and fabulous. When I was in high school I kind of listened to Madonna constantly, so it’s kind of come full circle.”
So Lambert beat out fellow performers Ciara, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Kelly Clarkson in Madonna’s eyes. Madonna we have to say — you couldn’t have made a better choice.
The show airs live this Sunday at 9PM.
We’re sure Adam will make the Material Girl proud.

Frey: Come on, that dude’s amazing! He has a crazy voice and he’s so cool. I remember watching him on American Idol and I said, "Now that’s the kind of dude that needs to win one of these shows."
And it didn’t happen. But I think that artists like him, and I am definitely not putting myself up there by Adam because he is in a league of his own, I can only hope to be that good. But hopefully it's artists like me, and Adam Lambert and Lyric 145 that win afterwards.

ReplyDeleteWas never a big Madonna fan, but have to say I am feeling very differently now, she has very good taste, so I see. She has been in the business long enough to know talent when she hears and sees it.

Madonna does have very good taste! She recognizes a super-star diva when she sees one. Talk about a feather in Adam's cap! Hope he gets to meet Madonna again. A duet with her would be a dream come true for him. Might happen! The Diva show is sure giving Adam lots of buzz. Yay!!!

Well, when Adam first paid a visit to Madonna, with Monte, Adam said he was nervous; and even clutched a Rolling Stone magazine, with him on its cover, in case he needed a resume to substantiate his beginning rock stardom. lol! Still can't fathom why that he should be nervous. Anyway she gave Adam a really sound piece of advice and Adam did keep that in mind. She said: Keep your eyes on the prize! With reference to not being distracted by what other people say, the negativity that is; which soon followed fast and furious. Glad to see Adam triumphed in this respect and much more. :)

Can't wait to see the show on Sunday. Adam was the perfect person to select as the host for this show...not that he is a diva, but he should be in the spotlight and singing with some of these ladies. I'd love to hear him do a duet with Kelly Clarkson but I know he really likes Kelly Rowland alot. When Sunday night rolls around, don't call me, don't bother me, just leave me alone to watch the show and enjoy every minute that Adam is on the stage. And yes, this diva show is really giving Adam lots of buzz and he certainly deserves to be noticed and recognized for the amazingly talented performer and personable individual that he is.
