  9. AURA The ADAM LAMBERT Tribute Magazine

Supporting the Forty to None Project against LGBTQ Youth Homelessness

    PRE-ORDER AURA NOW!

After many months of compiling, creating and
designing, AURA is almost ready to be sent to our printer.
To keep production costs down, we are having the magazines shipped by ocean, which adds about a month to delivery time. But there is a way to expedite your copy or copies’ arrival.

If you pre-order now, we will ship your magazine or magazines by air freight for much earlier arrival. We will need a minimum of 500 pre-orders to make this possible.
Naturally, the more orders we receive, the greater our contribution to the Forty to None project. Forty to None is a project of Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund, which supports and advocates for the thousands of homeless LGBTQ teens.

If you pre-order now, you also will receive a digital version of AURA free of charge.
After all expenses are covered, profits will be donated to the Forty to None project for homeless LGBTQ youth.
You may also donate directly through the ADAM LAMBERT Fans AURA Campaign without purchasing the magazine.

  11. Where is @3ku1 getting his information? There is nothing about Queen playing in Argentina on the official Queen site or Brian May's site or the official Queen twitter or another on Queen fan site.

  12. Before you spend $24 not including shipping on that Aura magazine, read the following link. Many questions as to how much money is really going to charity, how the sellers have misrepresented the project, etc.

And Cyndi, Adam, and this fandom did NOT ask for a $24 fan-zine to be made to celebrate anything or to support a charity.

@_izla_zandzz @vegas1024 meh, 2 of the peeps helped promote BFM and did joint ventures with Monte that made them money. Shady.

  13. Wow, those tickets are $75 to $100 USD.

  14. He's got the Elvis vibe going on in this picture.

  15. @anon 3.33am

Those ticket prices are fairly average for HK. Many of the bigger name concerts would be a lot more than that. Gagas most expensive tickets were $1500 HK, but were selling up to $8,000 HK by touts...Even the most expensive seats for theatre tickets are usually around $800-900....HK is not the cheapest place in the world.

  16. HK, thanks for the info. Are wages commensurate with these costs? Or is it like living in San Francisco and Manhattan, just expensive?

    ReplyDelete
  17. OT question. Does Adam have google+ account? There is one but is it real?

    ReplyDelete
  18. 5:40, it looks very obviously fake to me. Adam has 2 official websites and twitter and instagram to communicate with us. He sent a Keek when he added that. Why would he add a google account and not tell us about it?

  19. @anon 5.36am
Like all cities, HK households go from the very poor to the very rich with everything in between. But according to Bloomberg article from may 2012, HK is home to the largest number of Billionaires and 8.8% of the population are millionaires.

Property is very expensive in HK. A standard village style house in the area I live (about 35 mins by car from the city) would cost around 2 to 2.5illion US dollars, and they are not big by US standards with very little grounds, if any. and to rent one would be around $7-8K USD a month. To live in the city these numbers would be way higher.

Most households in HK live with extended families in very small cramped apartments, do not have cars etc.
Luckily the public transport system is excellent.

  24. I know Adam will be going to So. Korea as part of his Asian tour. Hope he and all others will be safe with new threats coming from the leader of No. Korea to conduct a nuclear test and to detonate a device underground. The world is a crazy place today and travel for any Americans esp. in certain countries is a concern for everyone. Adam has amazing fans in Asia and they love and support him wholeheartedly. I just wish he would have some concerts here at home for Trespassing, but it looks as if that is not going to happen. Safe travels to all.

  25. @ 12:51 am

I am waiting to see if my contribution is used in the AURA magazine, if so, I am going to sue.
This is a rip off. I have tried to get a response to my emails with no success.

I see where @ milestogeaux is sceptical of this too. It is not something Adam has approved of.

    Read the realstevegray link at

  26. I agree, this picture reminds me of Elvis, it's the picture used on You Tube for Adam singing "Cryin", the eyes and pouting lips, just like Elvis. But I've always said there is something about Adam, that reminds me of Elvis, I think they both have a sensational aura about them.

  27. 10:05AM, interesting how they can respond to people who want to order the magazine but won't respond to you. They certainly misled a lot of people. Neil sided with Steve Gray as well. Good luck, I hope they respect your wishes.

  28. I am probably the only person in the Glamily who doesn't think Adam looks like Elvis! :)) JAK

    In some photos...yes...in person..no! I don't mind...I'm often 'odd man out'! :)

  29. He definitely looks like Elvis in this picture.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That is the first thing I thought to looks like a very young Elvis! He does not alway's he looks like Adam, here he has an Elvis look! 75 to 100 is dirt cheap for Adam, I know with all the extra charges added comes put to be more! Adam worth more frankly, he the best there is on concert, especially male! GaGa's Ok, never been a fan! I sure would never spend that kind of money for her if I had it! A front roll seat to see Adam any place at all, I had a lot of money sky would be the limit, and the health to go! He an incredable concert performer, he gets better as he gets more experience! GaGa is great I am sure, I live theatrical, Adam is that! GaGa just not my cup Of tea! Alway's been partial to male singer's Adam my all time favorite ever! That was I Love Theatrical not live! Sue

I agree with you, Elvis mouth and eyes and cheeks very different. But people see what they want to see. lol

    ReplyDelete
  32. ADAM looks like a cross between Tony Curtis & Rock Hudson to me in this picture although there are other pictures that he resembles ELVIS 'somewhat'... guess it's all in the 'eye of the beholder' ... JMO
