I think if you get your picture taken as many times as Adam does every day, you get tired of smiling pretty. So he makes a face sometimes in some informal pictures. He's just goofing around. Love the explanation for cancelling the dancers in China. Adam was very classy in the way he handled it. Hope we see video of Adam on the 80s show. Can't wait to hear him sing Mad World, too. It's been a long time since we've heard it.
JAK here.....OT....This photo reminded me, sometime ago a group of us were discussing Jonathan Rhys Meyers and I was asking if anyone else had seen him in a BBC production.... Gormenghast.....he played a really wicked kitchen boy in a castle, who ends up running the whole royal family. It's from a German fairy tale type book. He was very young very gorgeous in an ultra creepy way. As a surprise the DVD was given to me for Christmas, I'd been trying to find it for years. It's still being passed around among family and friends....women seem to like it.....Jonathan I guess! :) Anyway, there was interest at the time and I just wanted you to know if you enjoy shivers it's available, thru Amazon I believe.
If you have been following Adam for very long as most of us have, you will see that almost all gay people make faces at the camera. The most common one is sticking out the tongue . I have no idea why the gays do this, unless its some kind of invitation. Also at most gay parties and clubs you will see that they also have trouble keeping their clothes on. I am not a troll, nor am I anti gay, just made an observation. All Adams gay friends do this, and since he is gay we will see a lot more of him making faces. Yes I prefer the pics when he is smiling, or thoughtful, or just plain laughing. He has a beautiful face, personally don't like pics where he is making faces.
@7:54: don't be skerrd;) Not the most flattering picture, but I think it's mainly the camera angle. He looks way better than I would tho! You couldn't pay me enough to take a pic that close, even with a straight face:-p
@JAK I think Jonathan Rhys Meyers is very very sexy too. Thanks for the tip. Have you seen the movie "August Rush"? Not only is JRM in it, but I adore the movie itself. It's been described as "an Urban Fairytale" and is enchanting and mesmerizing. I own it on DVD. Highly recommend. But have your tissues ready...
Wow, you learn something every day. My whole family makes faces for the camera. It's rare to get a pic without the guys making faces. Oops, maybe they are all gay????? But we keep our clothes on so maybe we are straight?
@10:30 am: I meant the gay part. I know of quite a few straight people who make silly faces. Adam is still young & silly. I'm old & silly-& I even do it sometimes, but I know my limits-lol! Didn't mean to start an argument over a goofy (intentional) pic! But-don't agree that it's a gay thing, that is all.

I too think Adam looks somewhat like Tommy in this photo but I think it's the angle of his face that's giving that impression.
