So, what, half of the U.S. radio stations weren't going to play it because they're owned by conservatives who said "no" when asked? Well, if you have any confidence in your artist's music, not to mention that it wasn't written by some new writer, but by today's bestselling artist, Lady Gaga, then you take a chance and RELEASE. There were polls done back when the album was released that a great majority felt "Fever" was one of the most radio-friendly of all the songs. Mothers were saying that of all the songs on the album, the one their kids were digging most was "Fever." Stations like Z100 in New York and many many others would have played it, and I'll bet it would have caught FIRE and those stations owned by the conservative owners would have no choice but to play it. I'll bet Lady Gaga herself would have used some of her muscle to help it too.
I just think these people at RCA need to be a little more courageous, think out of the box (I mean, c'mon, it's ADAM!), and be creative if they run into an obstacle.
The world would be a better place had they released "Fever" -- not to mention "Can't Let You Go," but that's for another post.

Maybe it will get some people who have not heard Adam's FYE CD to give it a listen..Say "huh, wonder what that's all about?", go to you tube, iTunes, Amazon, wherever they can hear it, and perhaps even buy it, and while they're at it, give the rest of the album a try..every little bit helps. And not only that, but look at all the big names he is listed amongst.....pretty impressive! Thank you "Chuck" and People Magazine!
And for the 100th or so time, I agree: Fever should have been released as a single, perhaps last fall. As @11:55 PM above said, all the young kids love that song, and not to mention so does everyone else! At this point in time, who cares about that one word. I think I understand why they didn't release it a year ago..but now?! What the heck! Tide us over until the next album comes out..Its a great summer song. Fun to sing along to in the car and a great club/dance track too. Oh well, if they would only listen to the fans.......and 24/7 ; )

That was so funny. Followed the confusion on Adamtopia and it was hilarious. The people who actually were at the concert says it was a blast. All the confusion came from twitterers who weren´t there. But I bet this will be reported in negative terms in media. It is after all Adam Lambert.

I don´t think I have laughed this hard in a very long time. So much fun in Adamland. The Russian fans did their best to keep us up to date but the radio station f**d up and everything got crazy. We are now the Adam "fandumb" but having a blast being idiots :-). This will be a day to remember. LOL!

On adamtopia there is a vid of WWFM but the sound quality is not good. Still you can hear Adam doing great riffs and the crowd singing with him and screaming. He looks like a rock star, love his look!!! As Simon had said we found our international star!
The "soundcheck" thing: The Moscow Radio station that was involved with the festival for some reason said during the concert that it was a "soundcheck", and confused everyone but the concert goers. Twitter was confused about what was going on and at some point the whole thing became quite hilarious. We didn't know for sure what was going on. Is it the concert or the soundcheck. At the end, Adam tweeted that it wasn't a soundcheck:
