Singing was good, raw and showed beauty of his voice with no "sweetener". However, I thought he looked a little uncomfortable most of the time. Anybody else think so? When was this? Doesn't look recent to me.
@Daydreamin Just looked at this and, yes, this was the Bing Lounge gig in Portland OR on March 25th, 2012 YAY!! . I remember it VERY well :)))) About a 4 hour drive south of Seattle. A friend invited me to go...I'm eternally grateful!
@justpeachy He was relaxed (incredibly handsome..) and having a great time..as were the rest of us.

I think this was the first "Saving Sauli" interview question..and Sauli was just a few feet away in the sound booth.. : )))
I don't think either Adam or Tommy was tired here..It was at about 7 in the evening..Although I have to admit I was a bit tired myself, but sooo buzzed!! Got in line at 7 a.m.! First come, first served! They seated VIPs and sponsors in the first 2+ rows tho...Still very close to Adam in an intimate venue.
"Never Close Our Eyes" was amazing live, and heard in public for the very first time...As usual, vids don't do justice to his voice....
The Katy Perry impromptu a cappella was an unexpected treat, and his energy was just fabulous: we could tell he was having fun with that..
@10:52 PM That's a tough one. As much as I love Adam, "Under Pressure" is pretty high up there on my favorite collaborations of all time list. I'd be lying if I voted Adam over Bowie on this one. I'm sure Adam would understand, being such a fan of Bowie and all. Looks like Adam's winning the poll anyways.
When I heard Adam sing his debut of "Never Close Our Eyes" at the Bing Lounge(sadly I was not there in person) via video, he literally took my breath away! He had the voice of an angel (still does) plus his unbelievable good looks...well I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. It was quite overwhelming. He's so beautiful inside and out.
@Glitzlady... I admire your drive! queueing from 7 am even though the show is at 7 pm.
I don't think I have that energy. Am going to a general admission concert of Adam that is located in a mall, so queueing will be indoors I guess... But I think I can only queue for 3 hours max. Luckily i have seen Adam in concert before... so maybe that is why I am a bit more relaxed about it...
What was Tommy doing around 1:16? Was he trying to help the girl in the front row relax? Both these men are gorgeous and talented. I met Adam in Toronto and he's so charismatic and just takes control of a room. I can't describe what it felt like to talk to him. Everything just sort of faded away around me and all I could focus on was him, lol!
@Anon 5:17 AM Yes, Tommy (and Adam too) was trying to put the girl at ease. She was VERY excited and overcome with emotion to be there meeting Adam. She was very cute and very sweet. So were Adam and Tommy :))
@Anon 2:27 AM My hotel was 2 blocks from the venue, a Starbuck's down the street, and I had several friends there. We just chatted, took turns going indoors to warm up, etc..It was actually sort of fun. I'm not a big fan of General Admission, and avoid it if I can, but there was no choice with this one. And totally worth it!
@ Lam-my......I would be happy to hear Adam sing anything a cappella. His voice is a beautiful instrument. This is my all time favorite rendition of Never Close Our Eyes.....Tommy's guitar was not overpowering, it was just right! They did a great job!...JAK
JAK You're back from your periodical hibernation, lol! Yea the off-the-cuff little that he sang, KP, was really good...would love Adam to include an a cappella in his next album; his voice and how he articulates, formulates it is like tuning-up a real instrument. Not bad, most people have to lug their musical instrument conspicuously around; his is hidden, like the hidden dragon and he is the crouching tiger all ready for action. lol!
Canadian I think you're absolutely accurate again; Adam is very professional in his critiques with regard singing; he doesn't in any way run people down; which some people do to off-set their own inhibitions. Like in Les Mis, he said, sorry, he had to be so harsh; and balances, follows up with very positive remarks.
Adam might like to sing a cappella in a part of a song in his next album. He sounded really good singing a cappella.
