Sue, no need to apologize for your enthusiasm in sticking up for Adam, especially when we do it outside of the "chorus" of this site. We cannot lose sight of Adam's agenda of fighting ignorance and hate when people get so mean and ugly on the mention of his name not because of his art or viewpoint, but because they can't get past his orientation. "To remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all...", Nobel laureate and Jewish political activist Elie Wiesel once wrote on his observation that the Germans who helped the Jews escape Hitler's killing machine were the ones who were exposed to nationalities and cultures other than theirs. One of the gratifying things about Adam is that his worldwide popularity is exposing people to one another's cultures in the most feel-good way, through shining example and song, shedding light on our worst prejudices and showing them for what evil they are. This is why when Adam's Les Miz tweets ferreted out his haters, and were countered with Adam's fans with reason and truth, I could not help but be reminded of how Love does conquer all, and that "no man is an island". Because of his orientation, the focus was on the controversial messenger instead of the message. But, with saner heads weighing in, one could almost hear the shuffling out of the box of those who saw only a hated gay caricature. Baby steps, perhaps, to changing hearts and minds as Adam does intentionally or inadvertently, but progress in our collective soul's basic improvement, nonetheless. Sue, we knew it would be a bumpy ride when we signed up for the Adam train, didn't we? Cheers, fellow comrades. atm.
3.10 I will never ever apologize for defending Adam and I never have! This one woman are whatever the gender, acts like I am alway's trying to start trouble, me of all people no I am not a trouble maker! I look back on my posts and said, maybe I am bringing those words trolls up to much, I sure do not want to cause trouble if there is any peace, not much of it ever! But I am not now are ever apologizing for asking his fan's to help fight the hatred! The biggest gift Adam had beside is voice his the fans that loving and loyal too him! I will always fight and enlist the help of the loyal glamberts! It does get old getting attacked on a daily beses by same person will not put any name to herself!i loved the way you expressed your self! Sue
Just saw upper posts sometimes I read from the bottom, thank you all fro my heart for the support! She doing better, she has those two little boys,y precious grand babies, she just cannot lift anything over ten pounds right now, was 5, she off the serious paineds she can drive, still cannot do a lot! His folks are 4 blocks away and I am 2 hrs. Away with severe back problems myself, she at neck back and hand surgery, must be contagious on this family lol! I wish I was closer? But she doing much Bettet. When the boys were little I pretty much lived there, to help but having real hard time too right now! When she recovers fully she should be ok! That much better, I getting pretty tired, like said so behind Adam was just so darn good! Thank all of you again, not gonna let one person bother me, try no too!! Because you have been having my back, love it! Sue
