  2. Glad to see our beautiful man finally get some of his much deserved praise from the media and entertainment community.

Resistance is futile. So proud of our worldwide superstar. Nobody does it better! Happy Glamhopper here!

  3. I love the words, "He electrified the crowd when he sang Who WantsTo Live Forever". That's exactly what Adam did and I was one of the lucky ones that witnessed it in person. I got goosebumps and literally forgot to breathe I was so mesmerized by his performance. The entire arena was silent while he sang the song except for huge outbursts of applause towards the end even before the song was over. He was amazing.

  4. Yes it's wonderful that Adam is picked out for praise, but I can't help but wish that tag line...'he's no Freddie' wasn't tacked on so frequently . It's like the stale old 'openly gay' and 'glam guy liner wearing' and American Idol runner up'.

When will he just be 'singer Adam Lambert' ? ... Or better yet ...... 'Grammy award winning Adam Lambert'..!
    Sorry...that sounds like a complaint.
    Shame on me............JAK

  5. He won't be compared to Freddie when he isn't singing Freddie's songs. Pretty simple

  6. Yes that's quite obvious . Even to me.....
It's just aggravating that the same words pop up each time he sings with Queen. Nobody is Freddie, he's dead, but isn't it nice his songs weren't buried with him?
I guess we'll hear it next time Adam sings with Queen again.
    I promise I'll never mention it again!......JAK

  7. Nobody can recapture the magic queen had in their heyday. I understand why some queen fans think they shouldn't try. But the songs are a great showcase for Adams voice and since Brian and roger want to perform them occasionally it's a nice gig for adam.

  9. Adam & Leila at iHeart JT performance last night. JT shook Leila's hand and Adam right behind his mom. Watch it at 3:40 mark:

  10. there is no reason in the world Queen shouldn't perform their own music and pick who is going to sing with them. Brian and Rodger also wrote many of those songs.

  11. oddly enough, despite radio play issues, I think phrasing like "He's no Adam Lambert..." IS probably bandied about RIGHT NOW and has been for a while

  12. I loved Freddie and he was the best in his generation indeed!!! I was too young when I started singing their songs!!!:)

Now, when Adam joined AI I said to myself this young man will be iconic someday like Freddie!!!!:)

    And it's coming along........

  13. @10:44 AM

I so agree with you; have heard it a lot this weekend too. Was just getting ready to post something similar to what you said. No need now. Thanks.

Actually, I think that the same thing; when I hear people sing covers that Adam has already covered.

  17. Part of the Freddie mystique is he died so young. Same with Elvis. It's makes these celebrities into bigger than life not that weren't when alive. It's just their star shines brighter. I liked Freddie because he was so inventive and OTT. He played the clown as often as not. Adam totally different personality so unfair to compare them all the time.

  18. Yes, the "he's not Freddie" stuff doesn't apply when Adam is singing his own music. All the more reason to get new fans to see him sing and support him with his own new music. This Queen-boost is helping!

  19. His high notes are electrifying for sure, but his lower range is impeccable. No one even comes close to his talent.
