The only smile I saw for the whole evening.
Actually a smile or no smile doesn't denote much...he may be so content, he doesn't need to camouflage it with a smile. Perhaps his new home is giving him a lot of satisfaction, so no need to smile. lol!
Since most of the pictures we saw were posed or pap pics I'm not surprised they weren't all smiley pictures. Adam has been doing a lot of the "serious" look lately.

I think Adam was using his Halloween fierce serious face just for fun for most of these photos. I'm guessing that he did a lot of smiling that night, just not in front of the camera. Adam generally has a good time at parties.
