I remember RCA being very behind Adam and BTIKM at the time. We thought Adam had label support initially. So far it seems very the same. Time will tell if it is different.
That is what I remember too. We all loved RCA and defended them even after the release of NCOE. Anybody who said anything bad about RCA was severely rebuked.
I think you will find out very close to cd dropping they are far a head of RCA. Just the fact they got Adam the best producers In the business.to guide and help him put out the very best and most commercially excepted music he possibly could put out I say was a great sign.
RCA had him do it himself they put little bucks as they could behind the second one. Sounds like the cd is very good by accounts so far and still what radio wants. I noticed they usually mention the producers that won a Grammy for best producers of the year. I telling you MM and S will be a huge plus for Adam not to mention he had those crazy stellar vocals gracing the CD. It's always best not to down any label Adamprobably p is and was associated with not good business. He never had believe me he pribay felt like it. Probably felt like it.
Noooo...Leave Adam's soul alone; in any case, not so easy, Adam's feet are firmly planted on the ground not floating in the air depending on which way the wind blows. Anyway, he seems lured by Adam's magnetic field...so beware, tables may be turned, the other way round. lwl!
I think fans are caught up again in excitement and hope for Adam.
RCA got Max Martin and other big producers and writers before for Adam. Considering how things looked prior to Trespassing dropping I think we should be cautious about praising WBR until they produce.
I really hope this time will it happen for Adam and he will have a good music that can't be denied.
RCA was very supportive for the 1st. album, but they had inside reorganization of the company and people that believed in Adam left. With a new RCA people came other priorities and that was not Adam. He run out of luck with 2nd.album. What's done is done and we can't change the past.
For now WB is doing a solid job and I can expect more around single release day and after.
RCA did get Adam some big producers for TP, thats true. But they made the huge mistake to release a weak single and did that two days before christmas.
You just have to compare the overall reactions to BTIKM and now Ghost Town. Huge difference.
K Voters!
ReplyDeleteRound four is open for your votes. Let's keep up the good work.

I'm glad I can't see anything because that is just an unsettling title.

ReplyDelete... Only a few more days??
The 21st sort of feels like forever ... lol
They have a funny definition of "few days". Musta meant weeks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they do means days; and we are in for a big surprise!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for good surprises like that we be!
This feels so different then when BTIKM was released! Label support and everything! Wow, what a concept.
ReplyDeleteThis is the way our beautiful talented Adam should have been treated all along! Shame on those who did not do the job they were supposed to!
Full steam ahead Mr. Lambert; your fans have your beautiful back!
Let's do this right!
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree! :)))))

ReplyDeleteMmm... Adam's pompadour has evolved into a dangling rolly-polly over his forehead; nice, like a wave tunnel.

BTIKM also received lots of pre-release hype and good reactions. There seems to be some revisionist history going on here.
