Adam please, just talk about your music and ignore questions about your sexuality. Some people can be really nosy but in order to be recognized as an artist you do not have to talk about who you've had sex with.

ReplyDeleteI see no problem with this. Gay men have spent many many years with women even marrying them. Having sex with them for any number of possible reasons. I'm guessing straight women have knowingly had sex with gay men. What I do hate about all this is the snooty holier-than-thou comments making this into something bad. This is old news, it will only hit the fan with the a fore mentioned snooty holier-than-thou people.

But of course it is his choice and his life and if he feels the need to talk about his sexuality in his interviews then he has the right to do that.

ReplyDeleteAdam was asked a question; and he answered it. What should he have done, just walked out on the interviewer, yea; that would have been smart, and made it into a big thing that it was not! Besides, Adam is not ashamed of women; he thinks they are beautiful and some of his dearest friends are women. Apparently it was consensual and liquor and the full moon were involved; what are the one in a life time chance; of the lucky women being with Adam at the right time and the right place; and I assume the right woman!! No complaints here! Asked; answered now moving on!

He recently married not likely to now. However he has said he has a gay brother so he should understand some of the hardships gay people face even worse for celebrities

Isn't this rather old news. He was asked if he had slept with a woman, he answered in the affirmative, and the he was asked if he liked it, he answered, it was nice. I have never believed him, I think he was expected to say yes he had, so he did, just to stop them asking why he had not. At the time he was continually being asked this.

Women seemed to think that if they slept with him, he would go straight, he has said, it doesn't work that way. He should have denied it years ago, instead of saying what they wanted to hear.

Ultimately it's his business, he shared a few words about the circumstances and that's enough to know..
We all (many of us anyway..) have our "past experiences.." of one sort or another.. (not sharing mine btw..;)))). It's part of our life experience.. Adam has had one heck of an interesting life since he graduated from high school. He's one fascinating man!!
He could have easily avoided the question and asked the reported to talk about other issues but he didn't because he wants to please straight females and sell his music to them. Understandably.

ReplyDeleteGood grief. He answered a question that has come up before. He answered it, and in kind of a sweet way, IMO. It's nothing lurid. Lord knows, celebrities have revealed things about sex lives that have been a lot more "interesting" than Adam's. I'll bet the article is about a lot more than just him having sex with a girl one time. I really get exasperated when some here go into panic mode whenever Adam says something. Glamour is not some trash rag mag like the National Enquirer. It's a top, high-profile publication that has chosen to interview Adam. Enjoy it, for Pete's sake. I'm sure his music will be part of the interview, too. Relax.

Are all gay celebrities asked questions like this? Has Sam Smith been asked this? Too bad Adam didn't side step this question years ago, when he was originally asked.

Would just like the references to past relationships, and the type of people he's met to stop, just do the music thing.If Adam is trying to move ahead, just saying "I'm single" should seem sufficient, without the being crapped over references. Truth is everyone alive has met some bummers, but you don't even waste breath on the losers, just avoid them.

Let him live his life, the way that is comfortable for him. We should only concern ourselves with his singing career, or acting if he should choose that line of work also.

I would suggest to you that the comments that have been deleted (by me, one of the admins here) would have also been deleted ie moderated.. by the official sites as well. They were crude and/or inappropriate or troll-ish.. I can assure you that I'm no prude or a puritan. At all.... Adam has commented on his sexual orientation many times before.. He has clearly stated that he is gay.. Not bi-sexual.. I can refer you to those interviews if you would prefer to hear it from Adam himself..

Adam is always gracious in interviews but I bet he is asbored of this topic as am I. I have the magazine as I buy it anyway. I love Adam Lambert but to be quite honest who he sleeps with doesn't interest me.

His perception of time is quite odd. If he slept with a woman in 2011, it was not very long time they had been together with Sauli b/c they met in November 2010 and Sauli moved to USA in the spring of 2011.

If Adam actually went further than making out with a woman, then I am quite sure it was before he met Sauli. He met Sauli in 2010, November. They did meet again in Paris for a few days, in Jan for Feb. They were together when he got the call that he had been nominated for a Grammy. It was 2 years later that Perez supposedly sent Sauli a picture of Adam with a guy. Whether he was cheating or not we don't know, because Adam has hundreds of pictures taken with a guy. But he was apparently clubbing while Sauli was working. It was probably the main reason that they finally broke up, because Adam wanted to be single again and not tied to someone else. If Sauli had to go out of town, then Adam wanted the freedom to go to parties. Which has always been Adam's lifestyle. It was OK when he could take Sauli with him, but if he wasn't home, Adam still wanted the freedom to party when he wanted to. Whether Adam actually cheated on him, only they know. It is highly possible, but we can only speculate.

He might have been 28, even Adam's memory is sometimes off a bit. But I am sure it wasn't right after he met Sauli.
