Please, please Adam, don't mention any names about you know what. I noticed that for some strange reason, in the USA, you can do hard drugs, do prison time for long periods, even kill someone and COME BACK from it, BUT you can't do anything sexual whatsoever. And, even strangier, the US is the 1st buyer of porn in the world. Go figure that one out!!!I??!
It's supposed to be about the music, I thought. If you don't want gay, gay to be the focus, don't make meaningless disclosures about past, present or future love interests. Just hoping that this current strategy on Adam's part works for him and does not backfire. Seems to be in very poor taste.
@8:25 AM You're last paragraph is something I often wonder about too. It is also known that a lot of bad things happen behind the scenes and Adam is a put-it-out-in-the-light-of-day type person. More is probably going on in his life than we know. I'm a fan of his and I back all his decisions in how he deals with things, even those I am not aware of. I have no intention of questioning his motives or expecting him to clear his actions with me. He's a good man. Walk in his shoes before you pass judgement.
Before I get off my soap box, I want add the obvious. Nothing is simple. Nothing is black and white. If you expect it to be make sure your life is all simple and black and white first.
adam has great friends, family, career etc., he doesn't have to tell this kind of stuff. why he doesn't just focus on the music and be a great professional singer as he is.
Many fans gushed over the Sean Valentine interview a few days back... and the part where Valentine was speaking about Adam's wonderful eye contact, and the idea that it lends towards or implies that one is being open and honest about themselves... we were all thrilled with that notion... this is perhaps the other side of that, maybe a little bit more of an axiety inducing side, lol, but not altogether a bad side, imho. I am not thrilled tbh, but it will be fine imo .. this is Adam Lambert, he is honest, and was trying to make a sort of gallant point actually if you ask me. That point of his got lost in tawdry headlines, perhaps, but most of the articles do quote him fairly accurately in the body of the articles, and at the heart of it, Adam's point was a worthy one imo. We are, each of us, left to do what we will with this news item today, as for me, I am going to breath deep and relax a bit, :), and remember the viability of GT for success on radio.
Btw, the chart debut link up thread here is great news, right?!!!! Yay. The best is yet to come.
Here's to U worry-warts: Adam didn't name any names, so shame on whoever says he did. Anyone who grew up in West LA, and the environs of UCLA know what he means when he says he's been with gay men who are in the closet. "With" can mean a hella lot more than U know what, and as a straight I have had to deal, professionally, "with" both in and outs. Easy to do if the other person is well-intentioned. It's the ones who are not who often want to make a mess of things. I'm guessing Adam has been similarly troubled every now and then. It's part of the territory.
When Adam says 'with' he means what we think he means, He doesn't mean he went to lunch with them. I believe he either forgot what age he was, when he slept with a woman, or it was a typo in the magazine.
Danielle is probably smoking weed along with Adam, that's why they are such great friends, she loves to drink too. She is another party girl. Most of Adam's friends are druggees and drinkers.
Please just delete all these awful, totally immature comments trashing Adam and his friends. Never mind who made them and based on what, allowing this kind of BS to stay here is just stupid. How hard is it to go through a thread of 20-60 comments and delete the OBVIOUSLY trashy ones?
