Flashback to 2009 Season 8 American Idol Tour Rehearsal With Adam Lambert (June 2009)

Just a little weekend Adam Lambert Flashback to early summer, June 2009.. at the American Idol Summer Tour rehearsals, just before the start of the North American Tour in Portland, Oregon.. 

 As we await Adam's 3rd major album release "The Original High" on June 16, 2015, we relive a little of Adam's excitement about this tour..... and snippets of some of his Idol performances......

    I like how Adam thinks it's awkward to see himself from 2009. But I think he's so adorable during those times. He's hot now!

    The dream does comes true..he already had duet with Gaga during QAL in Australia.mbe in future he will have duet with Bowie for queen new record.just wishful thinking.

    I saw the AI tour in Chicago when it came through. During the pre-show, when people were arriving, they flashed pictures of the top ten Idols on a big screen. Adam's face got the biggest screams from the audience. The place was electric when he performed. It was obvious who was the audience favorite. From what I hear, this year's Idol tour will only include the top five. Times change.

    When I first "met" Adam on Idol, I recognized the sparkle in his eyes and excitement in his manner.....he was experiencing his dream. As he stood on stage I wanted to hug him and assure him his dream would come true.
    I felt an affection for him....because I saw almost daily that same light, that spark in my grandson. He was working towards his dream too. Ten years of dreams has now come true.

    I wonder how often someone has a burning ambition and sticks with it and finally experiences the glorious combustion of success ..... That feeling of "I'm home...this is where I belong."
