  1. Woohoo it’s been a whirlwind day for Adam and us Glamberts too! LOL. This day the 24th Adam has been busy with interviews left and right, from television to radio to podcasts! But I’m happy for him, this is what “Velvet” should have been with a lot of promo but “High Drama” surely is making up for it. One radio British interview had Bonnie Tyler leave a voice message for Adam telling him she loves the album but especially “Holding Out For A Hero”. Awww nice of her. It’s a lot of Adam promos that I’m finding it hard to keep up but it’s worth the time for such a deserving “phenomenal artist” Adam is. Was on the fan club site and there’s new Glamberts on the horizon, a grandmother just discovered Adam 6 months ago and says “Adam has abducted her”! LOL. Her son and his friends don’t understand her obsession with Adam, she’s so cute about it! :))

This Monday you guys Adam’s High Drama party and America Got Talent later on in the evening! What a treat to see Adam twice in one day.

And now Adam on Good Morning America and Jimmy Fallon on the same day too! Oh joy!!!

  2. Well, I must say it's about time Adam got on one of the three major late-night shows. (I know he's done Corden, which is on later and he's done Leno back in the day). Fallon must really like him since Adam has been on the Cover Bands show (and will again, I hope) and the new That's My Jam show. I assume Adam's visit with Fallon will be an actual sit-down. Hope so!
    And now GMA!
The album is doing so well on iTunes and streaming worldwide, including the US, which seems to be asleep at the wheel sometimes. The promo has been wonderful. New label support usre makes a difference. Still giving the songs a few listens. They are all great but I do have my favorites. The Getting Older video is very risky and cool. Love that old man.

I am loving this media overload. Long overdue, IMO!

  5. That suit he wore on the Zarrella show was perfectly spectacular! Perfect fit.

  6. Just got back from Adam's streaming concert from the KOKO. OMG! He was magnificent! His voice just keeps getting more and more impressive. And his stage presence!...I could watch and listen to him all day! His cover choices were quite varied, and showcased his versatility. I like that he was on close-up for most of the concert....over too soon.

I would kill to have a DVD of that concert! This has been a great day!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I loved the live stream, too! I thought he was going to do only the new album songs, but he did mix in a few Queen songs and a few of his own songs. His voice was magnificent, as always.

Oh, and he ripped his pants.

  8. I recorded Adam's concert and put it on YouTube, if you want to see it again, the link is below, I hope it doesn't get deleted too soon

  9. Adam is going to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June5. If I remember correctly, he performed there some years back but it wasn't with his own band. It was with some other musicians. Anybody else remember it?

  10. Man oh man what a day it was yesterday! I wish Adam’s Livestream was longer! Sooo good and loved what he wore too, so damned gorgeous! I am loving all his other performances elsewhere like the one in Germany, and that outfit he wore on that show, OMG I really loved that one too! All the other interviews he’s done as well. Last night on America Got Talent Stars, Adam singing “Chandelier” was the perfect song I thought for that young aerialist Aiden! Simon Cowell’s nice comment to Adam got me teary eyed. I don’t know why but I get sentimental when I see Adam and Simon together. Can’t wait for another day of Adam tomorrow. He also added 2 more shows in Europe but according to Shosh NO US shows. Well at least we can see him on these talk shows and next Tuesday “That’s My Jam” begins, hoping the one with Adam first.

Mi Re La I’m going to see if your Youtube video is still up. Thanks for the link. Yes funny how Adam did rip his pants again. He said “full circle moments do come true”! Hahaha. If I remember correctly he was also wearing leather pants the first time! Hahaha

My “High Drama” cd was suppose to arrive March 2 but I got it today!!! Yay made me happy. ♥️

  11. Yes, Mi Re La, your Youtube video of Adam's Livestream is still "up" as of 9:54 AM on 3/1/2023, HURRAY!!!!!!....and I'm loving it, over and over! Thanks SO much!

The most perfect way to experience Adam is to SEE him sing, as well as HEAR him....because he's the "WHOLE PACKAGE"!

Sunflower, I got my "High Drama" CD yesterday, too. Life is good!

  12. Just watched Adam on Good Morning America! He really delivered HOFAH! Great outfit, too.

  14. Nanbert, an Adam concert is never enough to see it just once. I've seen it 3 times so far and I can't stop.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Adam started strong this year. I don't know what to look at first. Interviews, concerts, appearances in magazines and shows. Adam is everywhere

    ReplyDelete
  16. Maybe someone has posted this before, and I missed it. But I would be amiss if I didn't point out one of the BEST interviews (IMO) I've ever seen with Adam....this currently about his "High Drama" and other interesting life facts about him on the Zack Sang Show. Very real, relaxed, intelligent, informative and conversational....and Adam is just so honest and likeable....and charming!!!!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWQHCwS-R0o

I've seen at least one other Adam Lambert/Zack Sang interview that stands out for me as one of the best Adam interviews ever, but feel there may be more to be found. Enjoy!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I liked the Sang interview, too.
Tonight is Fallon and tomorrow is the View!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Fallon was great! Loved his outfit and the audience really cheered when Jimmy was waving the album around. LOL

Just watched The View. So glad he had a sit-down with the women. He's always such a charmer.I thought the interview was entertaining and had substance.

I kind of with he'd sung a different song on The View. I didn't have his band with him, so maybe that had something to do with it. That song isn't one of my faves on the album. It's too repetitive, IMO. But he sang it beautifully, as always. The NYC signing is today, I'm sure they'll be a good crowd!

  19. Mi Re La, Hurray! Your recording of Adam's KOKO performance is still available as of 11:14 AM on 3/4/23. Thanks so much again! I've lost track of how many times I've visited it....entirely and partially. Finger crossed that it'll be a permanent record now on Youtube. It's a perfect promotion for "High Drama".

  20. I have to tell this interesting anecdote to Glamberts:

I needed to have some radiation treatments to stop the growth of a benign tumor. The first time they put me in a MRI machine, they asked me what type of music I'd like to hear. Thinking "genre", I replied "Classical"....and got it during the approx. 20 minutes I was in the machine. Nice!

However, the second time I went....when they asked what kind of music I'd like, I said, rather jokingly, "Adam Lambert"....and they immediately put on Queen and Adam Lambert!!! What a surprise! I wiggled my toes to the music during the entire treatment/concert (which was all I could move)....much to the amusement of the technicians in attendance.

  21. Love your story, Nanbert! Adam is always there when you need him. LOL He has some more busy days ahead next week. It's been a terrfic promo for HD. The album and songs are doing so well. Keep streaming and viewing!

  23. Thanks for posting the video, Mi Re La! I was fabulous, as usual. Notice how he almost fell coming down thoses steps at the beginnig of the song? Caught himself just in time. Whew!

They sure love him in OZ! The host of the show was gushing like a true Glambert. He is just amazing every time, and that's an understatement.

Jimmy Fallon's That's My Jam starts tomorrow. I put the series on DVR but we don't know yet which episode Adam will be on. I know it's not the first one. I'm going to watch it tomorrow to get an idea of what it's all about. It looks very fun. Adam should fit right in.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ! also enjoyed your posting, Mi Re La. But I can't help but lament that all the adulation of Adam in Australia....SHOULD ALSO be demonstrated in the U.S.A! But it's coming! There's no way to turn back the world's recognition of Adam's immense, iconic talent! Now it's time for the U.S.A. to show pride in OUR hero!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hey Glamily, been awhile I haven’t posted anything but reading the comments I missed. Nanbert so happy you had a huge birthday celebration I imagine all the love in that room. Family is everything! ♥️. Liked your MRI story too, I’m a bit claustrophobic and up to now have never been in those machines but if one day (fingers crossed it won’t happen, I’ll think of you and request Adam or Queen/Adam too). LOL How fun you said you were taking Theatrical Makeup classes, for me I was in my high school choir never went to the performances because I stood in the front and I panicked during our practices and figured “no way I’m going to sing in this state in front of people”! Happily I got an A in Choir class, phew! Hahaha. I also tried out a dancing part for a high school musical but unfortunately I didn’t make it, I couldn’t keep up with the steps! Hahaha

Ok now back to Adam, Mi Re La as of yesterday your Koko video is still on YouTube so I say it’s there to stay. Thank you again for sharing it with us, I loved it. :)). Adam certainly is everywhere as he should be, about time! Happy Warner Bros. UK and BMG have been good for Adam, finally.

Dee R Gee when Adam came on Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy mentioned Adam was on That’s My Jam in 2 weeks so I think this coming Tuesday, so heads up for that night. Adam had mentioned in an interview a day or two ago he was performing for “a private event”, I can’t remember if it was in Australia but us Glamberts will find out! :)).

ALERT ****. Adam will be on tonight March 8 on “NIGHTLINE” with Byron Pitt. This news program follows after “Jimmy Kimmel”. 12:35 am Eastern time, 11:35 pm Central time. Don’t know about other time zones.

  26. Hi Sunflower! Glad to see you here again. I just watched last night's That's My Jam. I think it was very fun. They have four well-known singers, two on a team. They have to do all kinds of music-related competitions. Trivia, lyrics, singing in different genres, etc. It's all for charity. It was wild and silly and very entertaining. Adam's episode should be coming up soon. I'm sure he will be great. He's good at this kind of thing

Have a DVR set for tonight's Nightline, too.

I also wonder what Adam's private event gig is. He has done a number of them. I read an article somewhere about major singers doing a lot of private gigs. Apparently it's very lucrative. Maybe we'll get a few vids from someone who attends this one.

  27. So many great ways to see Adam lately. Lots of interviews. The Nightline one last night was very good! Along with all the others!

  32. Hi everyone, had a lazy weekend but I’m here now. Lol. What a whirlwind time it’s been for Adam and us too! So so happy Adam has been interviewed all over and grateful for the videos, audios and photos posted by our “go to or other Glamberts” and yes right here in 24/7 too. But wait! There’s more! In one of Adam’s interviews (can’t remember which, been so many) he was asked about his future plans for 2023 and he said something to the effect that “Queen/Adam are not done, more solo shows and More Things On The Horizon”! Pray tell Adam please tell us!!!

This morning I read that Adam is performing a solo show this June in TEL AVIV! How exciting! So is THIS one of those things on The Horizon? Can’t wait to hear about that show.

Reminder tomorrow night is the 2nd episode of “That’s My Jam”! Fingers crossed Adam will be on tomorrow night.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks for the heads-up about the Tel Aviv show, Sunflower! Great news!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes great news Dee R Gee! Another episode of Thats My Jam last night and no Adam . After the show finished they showed preview for next week and again no Adam. :( Don't know much now but Adam is in the Maldives (vacation/work?)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ummm Adam is in the Maldives for a private gig (his band arrived a day before).

  36. Hey guys! Glitzy and I just want to apologize for all our 'radio silence' these past weeks, and right in the midst of LOTS of things going on for Adam. It's just bad timing but we both have some things going on in our personal lives (nothing serious!) and so are way backlogged. We are going to try and get that remedied very soon. In the meantime, thank you for at least keeping things active here in the comments of the last post.

    Hope everyone is well!

    ReplyDelete
  37. No worries, broddy! We will be glad to have you back!

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's O.K., broddy and Glitzy, we all have busy moments in our lives. Just like Adam these days. But I'm glad you're back...and O.K. I don't wander far afield on the internet, so I depend on you two and our other Glamberts here to keep me informed about "all things Adam".

    ReplyDelete
  39. June is turning out to be a busy month for Adam. Royal Albert Hall, Tel Aviv, Helsinki, Cologne. Europe will be smiling.

Things I'm enjoying: Fallon's That's My Jam. Watched the first two episodes. Very fun! Adam's episodes should be coming up soon. Also, the snippets we get of Starstruck. Adam is definitely the star judge of that show. And the judges perform, too! And his interviews both in Europe and the US have been especially good. He is a media darling. And there's no doubt the man loves talk. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  40. Good to hear from you Broddybounce! I think we all here are doing a great job in keeping up with the latest on Adam until you and Glitzylady come back. :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Omg Omg Omg!!! You guys I just read that Brian, Roger and Adam will be on SiriusXFM “Classic Rewind” to discuss plans for a North America tour at 6:00 pm. Eastern time, TOMORROW March 23.

You have to be a subscriber to this station, which I’m not, so I will depend on other Glamberts who does subscribe for information! At this time tomorrow night we should know all about it! ♥️

    ReplyDelete
  42. Fantastic, Sunflower! I have Sirius XM. I will try to listen in. I was just saying to glitzy the other day that if they're going to do a North American tour this summer they better think about announcing it very very soon!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm so glad that the QAL "rumor" is turning out to be true! And yes, broddy, if they're going to tour in the States, they better announce it and get the ball rolling! Fans gotta plan!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thank God one of us has Sirius XM ( I added the F in my previous post). Lol I was desperately hoping everyone here would see my message. Happy Broddybounce and you too Dee R Gee have heard about it too. Hope Nanbert reads it too. Phew :))

    ReplyDelete
  45. Listening to Mark Goodman now on classic rewind... And not a peep about QAL! Not even a promo that it might be coming up later in the hour. I wonder if they had to postpone.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Ok, Mark finally said something about it... It's been pushed back to tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. Eastern, 5:00 a.m. Pacific. Not sure I'll be able to tune in... I will definitely be up, but working, so we'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thank you Broddybounce for this info. Just read other Glamberts comments. Oh well 7:00 am., my time. Gosh you mentioned Mark Goodman, one of my favorite Vj’s! I miss that gang of Martha Quinn, Alan Hunter, Mark, Randy Jackson (RIP), oh boy I’m getting teary eyed for the 80’s. When MTV WAS MTV! No reality shows ugh!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just read a tweet/message from SiriusXM Classic Rewind that it was the Band’s request to postpone the interview until tomorrow morning. Who knows why, but curiously there’s a picture of the guys sitting down being interviewed. So did they do the interview today? For tomorrow? My Gemini mind wants to know! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yes, they must have done it today in LA, I would presume, maybe NY, not sure where Mark is based. It is odd they've delayed it after having recorded it — I'm guessing it probably has something to do with their US tour promoter. It's also an interesting choice that they decided to reveal it on Sirius XM, of all platforms, but I guess their classic rock stations are the place Queen's music is played and promoted the most these days, and to a very wide audience. As a longtime subscriber, I think it's great — and, of course, it will be picked up by other media worldwide. Here's a video of screenshots of the interview from Gelly — I'll definitely post about this when there's audio and/or video tomorrow.

    https://youtu.be/B6FC-B4Lm1k

Oh, and, I hate to put this out there, but why do I get this feeling this will be the last tour? I truly hope not, and it's a damn shame we lost two years of it due to COVID, but I'm just thinking Brian and his health issues. But, we'll see. But I might go see it twice, depending on which cities they hit, because of that possibility.

And, yes, Sunflower, the good old days of the MTV VJs. Mark still sounds amazing and is so much fun to listen to, full of personal trivia. I think he also has a talk show on another channel, Volume, where he talks music and does interviews. The other two VJs on Sirius are Alan Hunter and Nina Blackwood. I was never fond of Alan but he's fine. Nina, who I absolutely adored way back when, has definitely changed the most — sounds like too many years of smoking — and she obviously has scripts written for her to intro the music ... and, sadly, she always sounds like she's reading a script! Martha Quinn isn't on Sirius because she does mornings on a radio station, maybe actually here in San Francisco, although I suppose it could be syndicated around the country.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hey, broddy! Glad you're back in full force again. Thanks for the interesting post. I think Sirius is a good place to announce the tour for the reasons your mentioned. Wide audience, big demographic.

I just heard my morning Chicago radio guy say that QAL will be in Chicago on Monday, October 30!!!!! So it's all very real to me now. It's on the calendar. Looking forward to hearing thire interview giving the announcement. I also have very bittersweet feelings about this possibly being their last tour. I hope not, but we all know that it will happen eventually. It's been an incredible re-birth of an iconic band. I keep hoping that they'll continue to do one-offs here and there or short residencies that don't require lots of traveling. And of course, Brian's health is a priority. QAL is a gift beyond measure.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yessss coming to Chicago! Fat chance they would come to Indiana so Chicago is the next best thing, ya hoo!!! Now going to ask my inner circle who wants to come with me since I have a week until March 30 to order my tickets.

Broddy and Dee R Gee this tour “IS NOT their last or farewell tour”! You guys can RELAX! LOL. According to snippets on Twitter, it was said Brian? I think said there’s always “one more time, and one more time again” words to that effect.

Broddy thanks for the update on my favorite MTV Vjs, for years been wondering where they were. I forgot about Nina Blackwood, I always picture her with her big blonde hair (well it was the 80’s everything was big so big hair). LOL. Nina had that raspy voice and now you say she sounds worse? Eeek! Too bad Nina isn’t as we knew her before. I wish her well.

  53. Thanks Mi Re La! I meant to say October 31 to order my tickets not the 30th in my previous post. Another thing I found out there won’t be any presale, so I will be a nervous wreck that day!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yes, Sunflower, there was also something about there not being a Farewell Tour in the works, they have lots to come, which is fantastic. I mean, I do hope that Brian being on tour is a sort of therapy for him. Gives him energy and life.

Yup, thrilled they'll be here in San Francisco at our new Chase Center. I've seen Cher and Lizzo there, and now I can see Q+AL! But I am also very nervous about there being no presale!

Well, I believe Nina records all her stuff for the 80s On 8 Channel from home and she's probably there in jeans, t-shirt, cup of coffee, cigarette in ashtray while she records. LOL

    Aaaaaaaand .... I'VE FINALLY POSTED! :))))
