'American Idol' On The Charts: ADAM LAMBERT and Scotty McCreery Double Up With New No. 1s
Three new No. 1s, added to McCreery’s previous seven, bring his total of chart-toppers to ten. That puts him in a tie with season eight’s LAMBERT, whose “Trespassing” debuts at No. 1 on the Hot Dance Singles Sales chart.
LAMBERT was already in the top ten among all Idols with the most No. 1 songs; McCreery now joins him in the top ten (see current ranking below):

So many fans tuned in that ADAM LAMBERT powered the 2nd annual Halloween-themed episode to ratings success for ABC Family. On Tuesday, “Pretty Little Liars” with ADAM LAMBERT was the #1 “13 Nights of Halloween” telecast ever among the coveted demos of 18-34, 18-49 and 12-34. The good news doesn’t end there. ADAM’s appearance on “Pretty Little Liars” was also a social media success. More than 600,000 fans tweeted about the series at a peak rate of 31,000 per minute, according to TV By the Numbers. The show was Tuesday’s #1 “Most Social” program and scored a 31% share of all TV-related social activity.

I know Adam has been approached in the past..and he wasn't initially interested due to some issues with the possible content of what they might have wished him to do...but this year seems a fabulous time for him to appear. So please Tweet them or if on Facebook, follow those instructions too. For those not on Twitter, no time like the present to sign up. Seems everything is linked to either FB or Twitter these days. I'm on both and love it.
