Whoa! This Vineyard place is so full of life and so is Adam...that crazy wail! of his...one excellent video of Trespassing it is. Adam joked that if it was not for the fans there, he would probably be singing in his bedroom; and if I heard right, only with his boots on...lol! Or was it just my imagination, on an overdose perhaps...lol! The band has actually notched up a couple of bars, strong and in unison, a band to reckon with. :) Lam-my
Whew! He sounds soooo good! What a voice..I could listen for hours and hours! Aanndd, that is one sexy man! Yep the crowd loved him, who wouldn't? I think these were fans that won tickets through radio stations only. Lucky fans for sure. I wonder how many songs were in the whole set he performed.
Napa Valley is really a beautiful place to visit for a weekend. I hope he and Sauli had fun.
I just watched the recorded live stream and I have to say those 7 songs he sang were wonderful!!! What a great performance and lots of banter with the audience too. He just oozes personality and charm.
LOVE this version of Trespassing. He sang the same version at his Sydney gig in August. No back-up vocals - not necessary - except for Brian occasionally in other songs. Adam's voice was and is SUPERB!!

the vids n Youtube are beyond excellent...DO NOT miss the back up singers..he does not need them..in fact, they distract and mar the beauty of his voice..this would be true of ANY backup singers...and I agree, he just keeps getting betterer and betterer..I would love to hear him sing "Runnin", "Take Back" and "Map" live...may I just add, thank heaven that technology allows those of us on the East Coast to be able to enjoy these concerts..next best thing to being there..
Adam was just plain wonderful, he looks great, I mean really great. He sounds top notch, even better than usual, also the band was very good. I really like this drummer, he smiles and laugh's and sounds great! Thank you to whoever sent video's, they are very good, thank you so much! I know this is repetitious, but Adam looks gorgeous, sounds amaaaaazing and I did not miss the backup singers at all. Just what I needed to see after getting power back here in northern NJ after the storm. Watching any Adam vids always brightens my day. Adam always looks terrific with a suit jacket and any type of shirt with it...very classy and stylish. And you are right about the hair, just got used to the platinum shade and now he's back to what he had before. How could one man be so sexy, gorgeous and talented and get better each time we see and hear him perform? Wake up America; we need to hear more of him on the radio and to see him on tv also.
I watched the live stream late last night after coming home. I just couldn't wait!! This venue was small and rather sophisticated in my mind. AND BOY, did he deliver! He knows exactly the right tone and style to bring to the stage, depending on the venue. His voice was AMAZING! Didn't need the back-ups at all last night.

The sweetest dazzling smile on the most gorgeous man! ADAM is so worth to be a fan of, the most gifted man in beauty and talents. And with a humble spirit and generous honest heart. I just so love this man!
First of all, he has never looked better. He is fit, but not too thin. His hair is back to that gorgeous color. Whew! And his vocals were top notch. Plus he was in a great mood which is usually the case. But I don't miss the drowning out backup singers and I like how the band finally stayed back and let the focus be on the star/singer. It was perfect on his part. Of course that rude fan who kept shouting Mad World was annoying. Trespassing is the album and the star is Adam.
Wow!Most of you are happy that Adam dropped backout singers(I hope forever)!How come everybody called me troll when I said that he doesn't need these two screaming and waving things on the backgroud? Performance was amazing! Adam needs to have his own show. He has such fantastic sense of humor. You are brilliant, Adam!
There are many of us who feel Adam does not need background singers, however we do not feel it's right to insult them. They didn't force their way into his act, they were hired. No need to be rude to them. They will proably be back and if so I hope Adam's fans will respect his wishes and quit with the vulgar remarks.
It is really difficult to understand why radio and most of television ignore this huge vocal talent and wonderful human being!! I think his day will come eventually! Wish it was soon so Adam could afford all the luxuries he deserves! I love you Adam!!!

I like Rick the drummer. He seems to get Adam both on emotional and professional level. He always has a great time on stage. I wouldn't mind at all if Adam had several different drummers all the time.

Besides, they are Minaj fans, the other 1/2 is on tour with Minaj rn, so they should be used to harsh language. At least Keisha gets to pray now before the gig. Adam never prays, does he? And Tommy is an atheist. I like this drummer. The Swiss German was too sensitive, I suppose..

I also think this is one of the best concerts Adam has done for the Trespassing cd. He looks so stylish and gorgeous in that jacket with the braiding and epaulets. And I like the hair color back again. But nothing surpasses that voice... the fun he has on stage while he exudes energy and happiness. I have said this before that Adam will have longevity in the music business and some aspect of the creative arts while all those crass, non-talent performers have long faded into oblivion. I love watching these videos and am mesmerized by this sexy, gorgeous, talented man.
Dont know about you all but I would rather have Tommy on the guitar any day of the week over that back stabber Pittman. Wish I had all the money back that I spent to support him at his gigs here in LA. . . . Adamluv

Has Tommy declared he is an atheist? ADAM does not practice his religion and said he does not pray but simply "trusts". It's why I pray for him but in His Divine Mercy, Jesus said all He asks is trust.
I love Adam. His performances last night were fantastic!! His band and background singers are all just people trying to make a living just like the rest of us. Adam knows all to well what it is like. Give these people a little break.
Beautiful concert!! (Even a little bit of wailing in BE!) :) And of course I love the darker hair (although the blond was growing on me too).
I think the VJs are talented singers but I too prefer Adam's voice pure and on its own. I also think it is pretty clear that Monte is a more talented guitar player (although Tommy is improving). However, Tommy is the better friend. I think Adam values trust, honesty and friendship even more than the music he loves so much. Don't blame him... those things are pretty darn important and I wouldn't work with someone I didn't trust no matter how talented they are.
Key things to remember... its Adam's life and career so the call is always his to make AND he is so fantastic we should all be glad to experience him in whatever form we get. (IMHO)
Great concert. Adam was amazing as usual. Tommy does a great job also. I like this drummer although I don't think he is permanent, is he? As far as the backup singers, I think Adam does a great job without them. I don't have anything against them I'm just not sure how much they add. I'm not a pro when it comes to singing and music so whatever Adam wants is OK by me.
This is good. I don't mean to be offensive but I think it's better to hear Adam sing without back-up singers. Those backups are usually out of tune and don't complement Adam that much. Here's Adam beautiful voice rules. Love it love it naked like this.

I too would rather not criticize Adam's back up singers that are just doing their job, altho' Adam is one artist that can stand alone without music, dancers or anyone on that stage and give a top notch performance, he doesn't "need anyone" to get the job done. He does surround himself with people that he can trust, like and take direction. I did get used to and came to like his Glamily of dancers on the GNT. They fit the theatrical bent of Adam's vision and were a good support system for Adam on those long bus rides and many venues. They also took funny pics of their travels to post for the fans and are a nice bunch! Now for my thoughts on Monte Pittman...His greed destroyed a personal and professional friendship that had bonded them for over ten years, a big loss for each of them. Monte did have a sixth sense, anticipating and going with Adam's impromptu vocal change ups and never missed a beat. As disappointing as Monte became personally, I can't in all honestly discount his talent as a guitarist. He blows Tommy away! That said Tommy has not had the years of experience like Monte and is a work in progress that time and experience will cure. Tommy is adorable and a loyal friend to Adam and I've always enjoyed their playfulness and interaction on stage. I'm only giving my opinion on actual musical accomplishment at this point in time. It is not a diss of Tommy at all. Monte is no longer an issue. Ashley is a great addition to the band and also looks sexy and great on stage. I really like the drummer in these videos and his interaction and demeanor on stage. This is just my two cents worth that may not even be worth that much, but just my thoughts. I no longer suport or follow Monte, BTW.

ReplyDeleteI love Adam. His performances last night were fantastic!! His band and background singers are all just people trying to make a living just like the rest of us. Adam knows all to well what it is like. Give these people a little break.

ReplyDeleteI think the VJs are talented singers but I too prefer Adam's voice pure and on its own. I also think it is pretty clear that Monte is a more talented guitar player (although Tommy is improving). However, Tommy is the better friend. I think Adam values trust, honesty and friendship even more than the music he loves so much. Don't blame him... those things are pretty darn important and I wouldn't work with someone I didn't trust no matter how talented they are.
Key things to remember... its Adam's life and career so the call is always his to make AND he is so fantastic we should all be glad to experience him in whatever form we get. (IMHO)
FYI Sauli's income was 26000 euros,($34000) in 2011. Is there public income tax information of celebs available in the US?
ReplyDeleteGreat concert. Adam was amazing as usual. Tommy does a great job also. I like this drummer although I don't think he is permanent, is he? As far as the backup singers, I think Adam does a great job without them. I don't have anything against them I'm just not sure how much they add. I'm not a pro when it comes to singing and music so whatever Adam wants is OK by me.

ReplyDeleteThis is good. I don't mean to be offensive but I think it's better to hear Adam sing without back-up singers. Those backups are usually out of tune and don't complement Adam that much. Here's Adam beautiful voice rules. Love it love it naked like this.

ReplyDeleteI too would rather not criticize Adam's back up singers that are just doing their job, altho' Adam is one artist that can stand alone without music, dancers or anyone on that stage and give a top notch performance, he doesn't "need anyone" to get the job done. He does surround himself with people that he can trust, like and take direction. I did get used to and came to like his Glamily of dancers on the GNT. They fit the theatrical bent of Adam's vision and were a good support system for Adam on those long bus rides and many venues. They also took funny pics of their travels to post for the fans and are a nice bunch! Now for my thoughts on Monte Pittman...His greed destroyed a personal and professional friendship that had bonded them for over ten years, a big loss for each of them. Monte did have a sixth sense, anticipating and going with Adam's impromptu vocal change ups and never missed a beat. As disappointing as Monte became personally, I can't in all honestly discount his talent as a guitarist. He blows Tommy away! That said Tommy has not had the years of experience like Monte and is a work in progress that time and experience will cure. Tommy is adorable and a loyal friend to Adam and I've always enjoyed their playfulness and interaction on stage. I'm only giving my opinion on actual musical accomplishment at this point in time. It is not a diss of Tommy at all. Monte is no longer an issue. Ashley is a great addition to the band and also looks sexy and great on stage. I really like the drummer in these videos and his interaction and demeanor on stage. This is just my two cents worth that may not even be worth that much, but just my thoughts. I no longer suport or follow Monte, BTW.
