  4. Adam Lambert is so many things to so many people. He's just an incredible human being and an all-around performer. When the climb is steep, it takes longer to get to the top but when you do, your star shines forever.

"When the climb is steep, it takes longer to get to the top but when you do, your star shines forever."

Beautiful. So true. Is this a quote or your sentiments?

  7. Geez, the term "queer" was used long before "gay" came into fashion....like in my parents' generation, and it was considered as derogatory as "fag" is now. Why can't Adam just be considered a simple role model without the designations? After all, he appeals to a divergent group of fans, be they gay or straight.

  9. Adam is a great role model! OT - Ricky Martin was speaking at the United Nations recently on a conference about homophobia and he said "I lived in fear bc. I hated myself bc. I grew up listening to a very crooked concept - you're gay. You belong in hell". Hopefully these young LGBT youths can use Adam to never feel "fear" nor "self hatred" as Ricky Martin once did. BTW 76 countries still criminalize homosexality per UN. . . . Adamluv

  12. Yes, @7:26, I didn't like the use of the queer word here at all.
Why did she have to use that word?

  13. Queer isn't necessarily an insult within the GLBTQ community. But when used AS an insult from OUTSIDE the community, then it is...Coincidentally, I happen to be acquainted with Andrea..and she would never use that word in a disrespectful manner. I think we really just need to celebrate the message she relayed...That some youth see Adam as a role model.
