  1. Smart girl CeCe keep working hard and keep your positive attitude. I liked her on the show, she was quirky and that's what drove me to Adam.

  3. How right is Cece to say it's the type like Adam who wins AFTER the show, well I hope it's true for her.

  4. What a great positive attitude. Wish her all the very best and Adam too, of course.

  5. I liked Cece she was a winner in my book. They were so hard on her, some remarks were quite uncalled for. I wish her the very best.
What did she mean people like her, Diamond White and Lyric 145 though. Wasnt sure of her point there.

  17. Thank you so much guys!!!!!

OT but I just saw this HYSTERICAL on Jimmy Fallon- an over the top reaction to fan of Mariah Carey on Jimmy Fallon. He reminds me of me when I see Adam on tv. Ok, well I'm really not this bad, but def have a huge smile on my face when I see Adam perform LOL.! I don't think I'm the only one here haha. Check this out:

  18. Hi Pan!
Whoa! Nice to know I'm so missssed!! Only gone several threads. Well, still 'pining' a bit over Adam's unjustified 'loss' but it's okay, just didn't feel so much like writing. But once Adam hosts the Divas, you'll hear no end of me and the Miami World Superstar show and so many other shows. So one way to beat the lack of radio play of Adam's songs, is starring / hosting shows especially the worldwide huge ones. Adam is unstoppable. I heard he's going to goof a bit on Divas; that is actually another of his yet untapped forte; he's pretty goofy and it might endear him to the sitting-on-the fence fans and new fans. Actually I've been quietly taking in daydreamin's Ciick here, Click there info, lol! Hey glitzylady, thanks for the concern and not knowing where I am as well. lol! Heard you're going to the Divas, Wow!

  19. And this is why it's nice to use a tag.....even though we don't truly 'know' each other.....when someone who posts regularly is quiet we notice! First we assume they are just busy but then we get vaguely worried and then we get concerned. Did they get angry and go away for a rest from us or go away for good....are they ill, etc?
So, in a neighborly way we have become friends though widely spaced geographically....and even in our opinions, but nevertheless we are a sort of Glamily. Glad you are there Lam-my. We need every stitch in this cyber blanket of protection we are knitting to keep Adam's future safe and warm.

  20. Thus....there are many of us who have Fan4fun and Icon on our minds and hope her health has recovered. If only Icon's furry little paws could send us a report or Fan4fun's neighbor Esther. I want to think she is still there in The Azores perhaps just lurking for awhile.....if this is the case, please let us know......JAK

  23. Totally OT but I have to say I hate twitter! There is always horrible comments about Adam and also Sauli and their relationship is continually breaking up.. It makes me mad and sad!!!

  24. Hi Lam-my, glitzylady and Jak
Glad you're well, I was worried when back home I resumed my sweet routine that also includes reading and commenting on forums(otherwise I'm always hypocritically complaining about it!)and I couldn't find your, by now, familiar comments. Shanghai, 2 amazing performances, Are You Gonna... and Fever and ...no Lam-my!
BTW, from one performance to another Adam is not only different and surprising but he is also vocally better!
Jak, what keeps amazing me , a perfect technophobe, is that cyberspace, cold and impersonal as it is can become a friendly place for sharing common passions, ideas
    worries... .

  25. Belated birthday wishes:

Glitzylady, ever ready to share the latest Adam news, noteworthy
Or shoot off for an Adam performance, like the upcoming Divas frenzy
We've known each other quite some time now, staunch members of the glamily
Though oft times disagree or indulge in curt whimsicalities...lol!
    Happy Birthday Glitzylady !!

  27. I used to dream about retiring and having the time to read the morning paper while drinking my freshly brewed coffee. Now that I am retired, I make a latte and then log on to this site to get my Adam fix. I look forward to all your posts and I feel like you are all my cyber friends. We are a Glamily.......

  28. I shall be the odd one out here I think.
I haven't seen xfactor, just watch some of it on line, and I think Cecec is awful. I didn't like any of her performances, vocals were mediocre to bad on all of them and she always sounded out of breath. The makeover was awful too, but that was probably Demis fault. I also thoiught she always came over as very fake and insincere too...
Saying that she'll probably be autotuned to death and have a huge career!!!

Pan, are you new..if so welcome:)))

  29. Several of the contestants on AI who did not win have gone on to have successful careers in music, like Adam Lambert. If you think back at all of the winners, several of them had immediate success and then faded into the background. Adam is gaining international success which many of the winners do not have. I would obviously like to see him be more successful here at home with the Trespassing cd. He seems to be on a roll now with the Cyndi Lauper show at the Beacon, the VH1 hosting, and tv appearances in NYC on the Wendy Williams Show and VH1 Morning Buzz. Adam is hot, hot, hot at the moment and maybe this will bring attention to his music by the non-fans out there. Can't wait to see him on these tv programs. The next two weeks will be exciting for any Adam fan.

  30. Never heard CeCe, but she seems like a nice girl. Claims to be an edgy type, like Adam, but I don't know. She did speak the truth about winners and "losers," though. Adam is on the rise and will continue to do so. I think the VH1 show will be only one example of how is other qualities will be tapped: humor comedy sense, emcee-ing skills, etc. that could take him to many places besides the singing. The world has only seen the tip of the Lambert iceberg.

Lam-my, isn't is nice to know that we really care about each other here! I think all of us regulars feel it and value it. I know I do.

Been voting for World Music Awards. Gave Cuckoo a vote.
So much on our plates this week! It's a Adamzing feast!

  31. HK fan I totally agree with you. She only got as far as she did because vote for the worst was backing her. This will be the last we see of her. She sounded OK before the live shows, when it came to the top 12 she could not stay on key or on pitch for notheing.

Yea we seem to have built up a sort of virtual caring for one another here; for me, it extends even to the Anons. And that's what makes this place a little special, has a warmth about it, the human touch. Happy to note Adam is getting much love on home ground and so many artists want to be associated with him now. Actually it's advantageous to know Adam whose 'tentacles' spread all over the globe. Reminds me of a giant octopus. lol!

  33. @ Lam-my.....JAK here.....thank you for birthday note.

I still have a daily morning message from my sweetie...this morning it said "meet me in the playroom, I'll make it worth your while!!!!!!" Curious, I peeked in and he was lying on the bed amongst wrapping paper, etc. watching a Sherlock Holmes movie at 5:00 A.M. I announced "I'm here!" He said "would you wrap the gifts I bought?" Well that was an easy job since he always buys the same things, gift cards...for the girls, Pier 1 and Home Goods and for the guys Barnes and Noble Book Store and Starbucks.....so I said "sure, and how do you plan to make it worth my while?" He said, "there's cards for you too!"
Pre Christmas shopping cards. Yea, he's a man of his word!

  34. I watched X-Factor from the auditions. CeCe was very obnoxios and self centered and an average singer. Even all the stylish make-up,hair, and warddobe didn't hide that. This is what usually makes stars these days, so I wouldn't be surprized if she makes it. She is trying to get Glambert support. She is very crafty. Don't br gullabe Glamberts. Not all people who mention Adam have his interest at heart. She was only thinking of herself.

  36. Adam drunk in NY with some gay. Whats that folks?? Is he also missing his glamband (new keek)?

  37. And this is why I decided to start posting--I see a lot of caring on this site. Since I spend so much time following Adam, I try to look at what it is besides the music and looks that makes him attractive and see how I can enhance my own life with those things. Today I'm thinking about his generosity with other artists. The wording of his treet to Lindsy Lohan shows that generoisity. So although Cece is not my favorite, I support that she is just trying to break into the biz.

  38. I've watched x-factor from the beginning- I think carly rose and tate stevens are terrific. Either one should win and NOT emblem 3- bla bla boy band. I liked cece also but carly rose is something special like adam was IMO

    ReplyDelete
  39. Frankly, I don't think we can compare any of the contestants mentioned to Adam. He is in a league of his own with a vocal range that no one in the music business seems to have today. I don't think I have heard him off key or pitchy in any of the videos or performances I have seen on tv(never seen a live performance unfortunately). Cece in her make over looked like a hooker with some of the hair and clothes she wore. And her voice was nothing special either, sorry. I do think that either Tate or Carly Rose have the best opportunity to have successful music careers. Tate reminds me of Garth Brooks and Carly Rose can get the tween/teen crowd or maybe a Disney show as Rachel Crowe did last year. Overall, I much prefer The Voice to XFactor. I like the concept of the show much better and the judges are just more knowledgeable and appealing overall. The bickering between Demi and Simon is childish and stupid and Britney seems to be out of it most of the time with her one sentence or several words comments. But back to Adam... he did not have to win Idol to be a success and he willhave longevity in the music business after today's young, untalented, boring performers have faded into oblivion.

  40. i may end up making a lot of you mad with what I'm going to say but I've never been good censoring my mouth. So here goes I like CeCe and I think the girl has heart and spirit and will probably be ok in the music business but I find it hard to swallow that she put herself in the same category as Adam because her talent and performance was in no way equal to Adam's. She may have been different and quirky but her talent is no way near as brilliant as Adam's.. Just my opinion

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yes it's highly presumptuous to align herself with Adam who is in a league of his own. And worse still to say people like herself and Adam do not win in these kinds of talent shows. I don't think she knows Adam in depth at all. Till today, in most people's minds, Adam won AI/S8 !
