Adam's beautiful spirit has me renewed! Congratulations to Angie and our sweet Adam on the fabulous duet last night! Beautiful pictures of Adam and Leila and Angie and her Mom. All is well in the Glamily. Any friend of Adam's is a friend of mine(sigh)..nancdruuu2
These photos are great! They all look so happy and it was definitely a happy night.
Can someone point me in the direction of Adam's AI interview backstage with Ryan Seacrest. I can't find it and comments on this blog about it are really favorable. Many thanks in advance. :)
Well crap!! I just posted 3 separate fabulous articles and reviews of Adam and Angie's performance and every single one of them disappeared. I can see one disappearing, but all three!! *^$##^*%
Christian Science Monitor: American Idol finale recap: America crowns its next 'Idol'
The Best
"Hands down, the absolute best vocal collaboration of the evening was that of Angie Miller and Adam Lambert performing, "Titanium." Their chemistry during their performance, both vocal and just general chemistry was the highlight of the evening. For that brief minute or so it seemed as though Idol had found its way out of the pomp and circumstance of superstar performances and just delivered viewers pure, raw, relevant talent. Kudos to both Angie and Adam for their incredible vocals."
MSN Entertainment: 'American Idol' final results: "It's Candice All is right in 'Idol' world as voters choose the best singer.."
"But just as on regular performance episodes of "Idol," when wretched excess can lead into unexpected brilliance, musical events took a significant turn for the better. Angie Miller launched into a grave version of Sia's "Titanium" and was quickly joined by Adam Lambert for a duet that at times approached the exquisite"
"Adam Lambert Won The “American Idol” Finale, Yet Again: WATCH"
excerpt from the article:
"... and then there is that kid Adam Lambert.
Lambert finished runner-up in his season to Kris Allen, but went on to become one of Idol‘s greatest success stories. His fans are maniacal, he is so talented artists like P!nk hand him songs , and he can cover a tune like no other. And don’t even get us started on that perfectly sculpted hair…
Our boy Adam flaunted that ability to flawlessly cover songs last night on the season 12 finale of Idol, performing David Guetta and Sia’s “Titanium” so well, with some help from contestant Angie Miller, that we can’t even tell you who was eventually crowned the winner of this season.."
@Glitzylady Thank you for all links and references. Esp. the last one is to my liking (the 10:08 post), there Adam is mentioned first and rightfully so, cause he steered the shipTitanium (lol) so masterfully in to the port of Adam'sAwesome Town!
And if they ever do decide to study the effects of Adam's upper (or lower) register, I'm volunteering right now!!! :))))
Well..just noticed that the links I THOUGHT I posted on this thread originally were actually on another one: and still there. As the saying goes:My bad. (embarrassed...I need to pay closer attention :)))
Beautiful people, Beautiful family!!! Can't stop watching Adam & Angie's "out of this world duet " Live!!!
Adam & Angie's duet's the best & only Highlight of Ai season 12 finale for me:):):) After their performance, I tuned in to Youtube & hit "replay" Good choice song & Awesome harmony Adam & Angie!:) Love love love Adam!!!
Thanks! And here's another one from BreatheCast Christian Post:
"Angie Miller & Adam Lambert Perform Flawless Arrangement of "Titanium" on 'American Idol' Finale"
Excerpt:
"[Angie] Miller teamed up with "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert to perform the song, "Titanium." Angie started the song at the piano, with just her vocal and piano and then the crowd erupted in applause when Lambert started singing his section. The song went to epic level though when they both started singing and harmonizing with each other. It really was one of the most flawless vocal combinations that I have heard. Their voices matched up so well and both had such good control of their pitch in this performance. Adam Lambert appeared on Season 8 of "American Idol" and made it to the Finale. He ended up getting runner up to Kris Allen."
Lady dazzling (Glitzylady) A lot thanks for all your excellent information, and incredible comments on this brilliant duo! Congratulations Adam and Angie! HH
Glitzy @ 9:49 - you actually said a bad word. :) Thanks from all of us for everything you do on this site to aid admin in bringing us the best first. Don't know how you do it fabulous Lady.
Sue - Hope your procedure went well and that you are ok.
JAK - No word from you yet... you ok?
Adam - You are an amazing person. We'll talk later about your ability to give me goose bumps.
It is obvious that the articles and reviewers of the show recognize that Angie and Adam concentrated on real singing and voice excellence and not on theatrics. The pure, simplicity of their voices proves that true quality is still possible and that it IS recognized. AND, Adam is getting great recognition for it, including his respect for Angie as the contestant.
glitzylady and others, my recent comments in another thread about another AI alum were uncalled for and I want to apologize. I get so darn emotional and I support Adam above all others. Sorry that I got carried away.
Love all the positive exposure this is giving Adam in the media and to the AI audience who may have forgotten about him just lost track. It's all good!
I am so freaking proud of Adam that I could just bust..he has once again proven he is the most talented, classiest, most humble, most beautiful inside and out, most charismatic, most loveable man in the business..in ANY business..I keep getting confirmation of why I love him so...no words..no words..
@DRG I can't imagine you being disrespectful about anyone..and I don't recall the comment you made, so it must not have been too bad..
We do love "our" Adam Lambert and cannot help but wish him the best of the best. So I can empathize with your enthusiasm and the protectiveness that comes with that sometimes. Our pride in his accomplishments and our frustration with his occasional struggles to be respected and recognized for his vocal prowess, not to mention his good nature and wonderful personality, is bound to emerge from time to time, especially when we feel we are among trusted and like-minded friends.. Our "passion" as fans of Adam Lambert is well known, in fact becoming legendary.. and I think Adam appreciates it. Mostly :)))) You're a wonderful and realistic fan IMO. Nothing to feel bad about..
@ Shiggles......JAK here.....I'm just now, almost midnight, getting able to grab my iPad to do some catching up. Our pretty almost new car got smashed today by a sweet little old lady......no one was hurt, thank heaven. However it's been a turbulent day, insurance, estimates, etc. I came here to soothe myself with Adam's sweet voice.
@shiggles LOL! Yes, I do know some bad words....and use them occasionally, particularly when driving in traffic....But I usually try to spare everyone from them here. In spite of the occasional temptation to just let 'em rip. :))) "@glitzylady, step away from the computer...." Usually works...
And you're welcome :))) Its all for Adam and those of us who adore him and wish the best for him....As our friend @funbunn40 likes to say "I'm spreading the Lambert Love"...or helping to.....
@JAK Speaking of traffic..............So sorry to hear about your car. So frustrating but also very thankful no one was hurt....Hoping for a speedy recovery for your car....
Seems like the mom's already a Glambert!

ReplyDelete"Adam Lambert And Angie Miller Offer Steely Vocals On “Titanium"
"Adam Lambert stopped by American Idol last night, performed “Titanium” with Angie Miller, and turned everyone into Glamberts.
Adam’s upper register really should be studied by scientists. I’m sure it could provide a cure for some deadly disease, like malaise or lethargy.."
