  1. You can't watch without a Google + acct? So annoying.

  2. If nothing else, it's at very least...confusing... There should be more info soon (Official Announcement), which will (hopefully...) clear up some questions. And with some clear and concise instructions as to how all of this works!!!

Here's a brief description and tutorial (link) that may (or may not!) clear up a few things.. Maybe...

    "Intro to Google Hangouts"

"Online video conferencing is becoming more popular. Video is being used for more than conferencing too! One of the most well-known live streaming video platforms is on Google+, called Hangouts. Since this technology is so new, many people get frustrated by the fact they don't know how to use it. As someone who's been using Google Hangouts for over 18 months, I am often asked to help people understand Hangouts. Here's an intro to Google Hangouts."

"There are actually two different types of Hangouts: Hangouts and Hangouts On Air"

"Hangouts are typically used for private video chats with another person or group of people. They are not recorded to YouTube and only visible to the people you invite to them."

"Hangouts On Air are publicly viewable and automatically recorded to you YouTube channel associated with your G+ account. You can invite individuals or circles to join the hangout and up to 10 people (including you) can be on at one time. You can not invite the public to join on air, but by default, they are able to be viewed by everyone."

  3. And, another video from Google that helps to explain the process of "Google Hangouts"...

Bring your conversations to life with Hangouts

I've never even heard of them before, so there will definitely be a learning curve...

  4. I've done a google plus hang out before. You do not need a google account to watch.

  5. I have watched Google hangouts after they are on YouTube and definitely didn't need an account or to sign in then.

  6. Stop your bitching and just create a google plus account. It shouldn't take more then 5 minutes. And that's if your are just mildly computer literate. Before I discovered Adam all I has was a myspace page in 2009. Now I am on twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Google plus, ect. I love connecting with Glamberts everywhere.

  7. 6:18, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed today? One person said something. Why so rude and condescending? Not everybody wants to be all over the net.

  8. is it any different than twitter?

  9. Hello AML fans. I am just jumping on the most recent thread to drop a great little AML tidbit.
Sorry it's not specific to this thread, but I have to get out the door.

This interview was brought to my attention by someone who knows my kids love "The Fault in our Stars" and that I love Adam Lambert (they love Adam too :).

    https://screen.yahoo.com/the-yahoo-movie-show/speed-date-ansel-elgort-170255537.html

I don't know how to post the link to be "live", sorry.

Quick sidenote: This movie (& book) is beyond huge right now, and this Adam mention is such a massive WIN/WIN for Adam it makes me giddy! And, much like Adam himself, both the book and the movie have crossed various age groups, in appeal and popularity, which is excellent... and it is hugely popular with the 12-18 crowd, and I'd venture to guess many a young person will see this interview one way or another - an AML win/win (especially long game, Era 3, radio play, fingers crossed :).

My apologies if this has been posted already, I don't see it as a headline or main thread, but I don't venture into the comments sections much so I don't know if it's been posted there or not.

    Have a great day all,
    MGF

  10. Google plus is a social network platform. It's like a cross between Facebook and tumblr. I signed up but never did much on it. It's linked to YouTube so videos that you like get posted to my plus account. You can also post photos, links, text, create events, but I never did any of that.

  12. MGF, Thank you so much for posting that interview from the star of "The Fault in Our Stars." I just saw it on AO, and I'm so glad you posted it here. The nice young kid just ADORES and Adam and really gave his incredible praise. LOTS of younger people will see this interview because the movie is HUGE right now. Hope some of those viewers listen well and take a look at Adam. That young actor is so cute. Love his taste in singers, too.

  13. Google and Facebook will be doing a lot of amazing literally out of this world things in near future. Get with the technological advances. I'm happy to see Adam is using social medias to promote his business.

  14. Just to add, most likely, lots of this movie's viewers were probably too young to care about Adam's Idol year, probably never saw it. This could be the first time some of them have ever even heard Adam talked about, esp. by someone in their age bracket. Hope the interview get lots of views.

  26. It is placing guns in the hands of the negligent. that is the real problem. A person who has no value for his/her life, will most likely have no value for another life. It seems when someone is having personal issues, they think the solution is a gun. There is no talking things over anymore. Alot of these shootings are copycat. They want their 15 min. When a shooting occurs, the media will give it coverage. The suspects know this. It is never about victims, but the person who pulls the trigger. Ridiculous is right.

  27. the gun comment is in response to the twitter comment Adam made.

  30. @6:18 What happens to people like me who actually have a life and it is all I can do to keep up with this site?

  31. 6:07
I'm not 6:18 and I often ask the same question as you did. Have made a conscious decision not to take part on all these social media "gadgets", not because I don't want to learn new things but simply don't have the time or need for them at this point. Just being true to myself. Less will suffice. Listen to your heart, dear fellow Adam fan! :)
