I have a block of smoky quartz exactly like the ones shown; length 8 inches, diameter 2.5 inches; hexagonal/6-sided, very heavy, solid (from China).
It's white translucent; not smoky.

I have a feeling smoky quartz is in reference to his new hair colour...same shades. His face is superimposed in the quartz.
