  8. I'm guessing most here get the play on words/joke Adam posted, but for anyone who might wonder (or doesn't get the humor...)....

I've just posted the Jamie Fox song/video:

    "Blame It"

  9. Thanks glitzylady.

OT: Just posted my one a day vote on the OUT 100 most elgible Bachelors; for those interested, Adam is still ahead, but Clay Akins is now second and gaining!

  11. Why do these total spoil sports always make it to the top of the thread?!?

Do you evah take a rest of yourselves and of spoiling it for others?!? LOL

  12. 10:20 AM, I am 9:51 AM but not 9:56 AM. I am not a troll. I just did not find his joke funny. It's not a witty play on words.

Not everything Adam says or does is perfect nor does everybody need to like it. So much talk of tolerance here until someone doesn't toe the party line. Then they get jumped on.

  15. @12:56

    Why not just say then:
"I don't find his joke funny."

    But no, you said:
    "He's twelve years old."

    SEE/GET the difference?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I understand that perhaps not everyone gets the joke or why this is a funny play on words..IF they aren't familiar with the reference...Giving the benefit of the doubt here....

Besides, as Adam has been known to say:

    "It ain't that deep folks"...

Watch the video and listen to the song I posted..

It's a well known song with the phrases:

    From the song "Blame It"

"Blame it on the vodka, blame it on the henny
Blame it on the blue tap, got you feeling dizzy
    Blame it on the a-a-alcohol
    Blame it on the a-a-alcohol"

  17. By the way....

    Be nice. Please. :)))

  18. None of us know if Adam was referencing a song or a general expression or making a joke. Maybe he had a bit too much last night i.e. #poland. Who knows and regardless not everybody has to like it or find it funny.

Trolls should be ignored. But fans should be able to say what they think. If the comment is just one you don't agree with there is no need to bully the person. That is exactly what is happening here and it is shameful.

  21. Two wrongs don't make a right. The bullying is unacceptable. If a comment is that offensive admin will remove it. No need to escalate things with bullying and snarky and mean comments in return.

  22. Hi 1:31 :)......

Reading a disagreeing comment here generally isn't a problem for Adam fans. Hearing someone's alternate thought about Adam's (or his fans) behavior and/or comments really isn't an issue, either. (ie: " I don't find that joke of Adam's funny", etc....)

But, when someone actually makes a degrading comment about Adam himself, or about other fans in a personal way....

That's when it becomes a problem. Because THAT is bullying.
    And THAT is shameful.

Adam is someone we actually care about. And, so... I suspect that the fans of Adam here are going to continue to address it. Among other important reasons, it can create a negative experience on the site and spawns arguments. Please don't expect that fans will stay silent when a belittling comment is made about Adam personally, and about his fans. This is not the site for that.

No one likes to be or should be personally put down.... And no true fan of Adam will be tolerant or "ok" with him being personally denigrated on an Adam Lambert fan site, either. Nor should we be. We come here to be a fan.... to celebrate him as an artist and his artistry.. Not to take our valuable time to point out and criticize all his perceived faults.

Opinions about Adam's choices and behavior - even if unpopular - can be offered here in respectful way that do not belittle, or posted in a "snarky" style. Differing opinions are welcome here.... demeaning remarks are not.

Kindly meant, I'm not quite sure why that seems hard to understand....

But, I truly hope that makes sense. :)))

  23. ..... And so I return back to the engaging and fascinating subject of this website:

    Adam Lambert. :)

.... Any (respectfully made) comments about our amazing Adam .... things about him and this cute post by glitzylady, anyone? :)))

  24. @Yada
    Great post!

Everybody please read & learn from it - after this no one needs to complain that differing opinions are not allowed here!

  26. IMO, it makes sense that Adam was referring to those songs lyrics when he tweeted. Anyone can disagree if they want to, but I think that's what he was doing.

Love the insta shot of Rufus and Neil. Great smiles!

  27. There is no justification for the rudeness frequently on this site. It's sad.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Sometimes a simple "IMHO" can work wonders.

    ReplyDelete
  29. If you say something someone doesn't like on this site, you're screamed at in no uncertain terms .... period.

  30. I personally think there is a 12 year old boy in every man worth having.....and a 7 year old princess in every woman.

I showed the sign to my 79 year old husband and he said "Is that sign for real?" I said "I assume so" and he replied "cool". My sweet boy.

  31. 8:08 PM, totally agree.

  32. Love your post, JAK! :)))

The posts in this thread about the business of ADAM are so intriguing.....

And, JAK... you have such a beautiful and relateable way with your words that touches a similar chord so many of us. :))

    ReplyDelete
  33. Glitzylady..... Your posts are informative, entertaining and effectively highlight the incredible attributes about Adam that delight and inspire us. Your comments are equally as beneficial and interesting. Please keep doing what you're doing. I think I speak on behalf of countless Adam fans when I say "Thank you" for all the effort and time you take. :))

.... And speaking of Adam fans....
My fellow Glamberts, You all are the very very best!!!! Proud to be a part of this with you.

Ahhh, yes..... Feels so good to speak truth and good things about this place and the Glamberts who come here. ❤️

And to all trolls and naysayers....
    Come and get me. Mwahahahahahah......

  34. Thanks always to you, Glitzylady.
    And to you too, @yada.
Love your post as well as those of JAK & DRG always.

  35. It can also be a question of different cultures. In some countries alcohol (strong liquors, spirits, even wine) can only be bought in government controlled 'boutiques', this is the case for instance in Sweden and Finland I've been told. Don't know about Poland.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @ yada...., thank you ma'am!

    Ditto Anon. 11:02....

    ReplyDelete
  37. BRAVA!! to all my fellow Glamberts who "get" ADAM & his comments, quips, etc. There is no need to criticize ADAM ... this is ADAM ... the boy/man that we all LOVE here & RESPECT as well. Rude comments about ADAM shouldn't be left unaddressed .. that is NOT the way being a fan ... a TRUE fan ... operates ... so I join in with those who took offense at the first two posts on this thread because IMHO I think they were uncalled for ... JMHO!!
