Adam Lambert Has Writing Credit On His Upcoming New Single "GHOST TOWN" (With Max Martin et al) Via Warner/Chappell Music

Adam Lambert recently announced the title of his first single "GHOST TOWN" from his new album "THE ORIGINAL HIGH" .. 

 "GHOST TOWN" will be revealed/released on April 21, 2015, while his highly anticipated new album, "THE ORIGINAL HIGH" will be released soon after...

***The ASCAP noted after Adam's name under "Society" refers to the "American Society Of Composers, Authors, and Publishers".  This organization protects the copyrights of the composers of the music, collects licensing fees for playing music, and distributes royalties to the creators of the music, in this case to Adam as one of the writers of the song..

    Apparently Adam was shown on E! News. I set my DVR to watch it at 8pm pt. Ofcourse on E! Channel. Westcoast time.

    Wow! Adam is very well loved at Idol! I think it is almost a given that he will be on again in some capacity before the season is over. So much praise from Scott Borchetta! The producers have said great things about Adam too!

    I really like Melinda Doolitte; she has been a fan of Adam's for years! I think she left far to soon on her season; she is very talented, and a nice person too.

    Agree with how Idol feels about Adam! What's not to love about this man?

    Nice words from Scott! Would be great to see Adam on Idol, too. Am I correct in assuming that if you have writing credits on a song, you get a bigger percentage of the $$$$$? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I am beyond excited about GT hitting the airwaves!

    Yes, that's exactly what it means.. Adam will get a percentage of the writers royalties ie $$$....

    This just seems like Adam's year!
    Please Dear Lord Let It Be! I want this for him so much. He so deserves it with his beautiful sprit and soul. This wonderful Gift From God!

    I can just feel the excitement in the air. I want him on every daytime show and night show. I want him on every award show. I want everyone to hear that One In A Billion Voice. I want to see that great big smile on my face over and over again as I see our man walking up to get his Awards that he truly deserves!!

    Great post! I'll just Add if I may, How about that great big smile he would have on his face if he was nominated for at least one Grammy for TOH! I so want him to be nominated; and this time be able to attend the main Grammy stage when he picks up his Grammy or dare I say, "Grammys"!!

    I was so happy to see Adam with Terrence Spencer so close to the front (behind Chris Brown being interviewed by Jamie Fox)looking like he was enjoying himself. His striped shirt was easily identified. Smart choice! Next year hope to see him getting the recognition that he so richly deserves. Counting down to April 21st! Still think it's odd that he and Madonna have a new release so close together named Ghost Town, even tho' spelling has minor difference. Even more odd because she has always been his idol. Hoping it's a positive sign.

    I'm hoping and praying that GT will get good AirPlay. So far WB has been showing support for their massively talented new artist, our beloved Adam, so hopefully they'll throw some money at those radio stations ( if that's what has to be done).

    How wonderful that Adam will receive royalty money on GT and other tracks on TOH. Adam deserves all of this and certainly more recognition at some of these big award shows too! So far it looks likes everything is pointing in the right direction! Keeping my fingers crossed.

    I am so glad Adam gets some royalty money, he has to pay out himself to get the writers to collaborate with, they don't do it for free, and since he has picked the best, I am sure they come with a big price tag. There are so many hidden costs to getting a record out, fortunately he can well afford it now. His label pays for all the promo stuff, I believe.
    With his album coming out this summer, wonder if it will be out before he goes to South America, and how long that tour will be.
    He probably will tour with his new album later in the year or in the early spring of 2016. Hopefully not when the AMA's are on or the Grammys. I am sure Warner will guide him on what they want him to do, everything is timing. Adam isn't the only new person they have picked up.
