But this Acoustic version of Adam's "Cuckoo" from his 2012 "ERA 2" Album "Trespassing" just popped up from apparently nowhere and it's something you need to hear! Different than the original album version in several ways, including just Adam with his amazing voice and simple accompaniment... allowing his voice to be first and foremost!!

Album cover is scrumptious ...however, though I generally prefer acoustic ... I thought Adam's voice sounded rough.

Of course I have been awake 18 hours now, so I'll sleep a few hours and listen again. -_-

ReplyDeleteSo did Adam record this specifically for the remix? Since it's completely different from the original, I'm guessing yes. But, isn't that unusual? I enjoyed it, but have to say I like the original better.

ReplyDeleteThe Kidd K show Adam will be on Tuesday is it radio or TV. Before he died he had the morning shod Houston 96.5. That show I believe went to many cities other than just Houston.
ReplyDeleteIs it the radio or TV ahow. Adam was on this show with trespassing. Please post weather on TV show or its radio show. I did not catch info the other day I was doing a lot if therapy. He was also on dish nation so is it radio or TV. If radio I assume it still 96.5 Houston have not tuned in for a while so I don't know.

ReplyDeleteThe remix sounded oh my lawd, awesome in the early part of the song, then his lower range didn't sound as good but it went back to his higher range - certainly an interesting remix - and I absolutely ADORE the original.

ReplyDeleteWow! That's a crazy version of Cuckoo! I like to hear how he can change things up in a song. I'll admit I like the original recording better, but this is fun and very loose and clubby.

I was a surprised that someone would say something so rude to another Adam fan! What if the person had told you to "shut your pie hole", would that be equivalent to your response; and how would you feel?
Glitzylady can handle questions addressed to her I am sure; without your rude imput! Most of the time a question is just an honest question with no ill intent; and should be answered in an honest way by the person it was intented for! Think about it!
