  6. Kinda OT & kinda long-winded, scroll on by if not interested in a post only semi-related to Adam :)

I was just checking out Adam's YT channel, per this thread, and noticed the Who is Fancy "Goodbye" video in the sidebar... did any of you Adam fans see Who is Fancy singing "Goodbye" on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night? I did and I have been obsessed with it all day. Couldn't wait to get to my computer, unfettered from Real life, to check into it further :). The reason why I am talking about it in an Adam Lambert fan site would probably become apparent to most of you quite quickly if you checked it all out on the web or on You Tube... basically, I think Adam Lambert has contributed to a music industry environment where Jake "Fancy" Hagood (the actual Who is Fancy artist/singer) and the concept he conveys in the "Goodbye" video (actually 3 videos) is not only accepted, but actually WELCOMED. I think we'll hear "Goodbye" on the radio, if you aren't already. Admins can delete this if they think it's too off-topic, cool with me, I'd understand - I just think this whole Who is Fancy phenomena is fascinating and Adam Lambert had something to do with paving the way for this artist to hit mainstream like he is perched to do, imho.

ps. If anyone checks out the Who is Fance "Goodbye" performance on Fallon last night, make sure you watch 'til the very end for the "Glitter" spray, and note the make up maybe too ;)

  7. 2:39 here again - an also, btw, Adam's Trespassing WAG Mini Tour Musical Director Brian London is on Keyboards in the background of the Who is Fancy "Goodbye" performance on Fallon. Good for Brian!! :)

  8. oops 2:39/2:44 here again, sorry - I also meant to mention the Who is Fancy Jake Hagood connection to Scott Borchetta, the American Idol guy for this year, Who is Fancy is tagged as a Scooter Braun/Scott Borchetta signing

Again, if Admins feel that this is too long winded or too much promotion of an artist that's not Adam Lambert, delete my posts, no problem, that's not my intent - I just think is so very noteworthy to Adam Lambert's place in the current music scene because I truly feel, just my opinion, that this Jake Hagood artist's path has been paved, at least in part, by Adam Lambert. The song is awesome, the singer is great, but the path has been paved at least in part by Adam in my view. And I was just interested if anyone else here saw the Fallon performance and had similar thoughts?

  10. Hope Scott is able to get Adam on as mentor and a performer to promote GT! Sounds like Scott is reaching out to Adam. Hope this happens.

The Who Is Fancy "Goodbye" info is interesting. It will be nice for them if it gets radio play. Adam's influence does run wide.

I am still waiting for the day when Adam is somehow in line to be on Kimmel, Fallon, that new Brit guy on the Late Late show, etc. With a hit song, he just might get in that line. I'm guessing he's at least as talented as Who Is Fancy. :)

  11. So he is gay. So what. In Adam's post-gay world it is a non issue. We can move things forward by not focusing on peoples orientation.

  12. Ha Ha @Dee R Gee... 2:58 here... with all due respect, our guy Adam is waaaaayyyy more talented than Jake Fancy Hagood, but that's just my little 'ole opinion, lol. But then again, I think Adam is the most talented pop/rock voice on the planet right now, so I am a little biased! lol. I am very hopeful and optimistic that Adam will be on "the circuit" with GT! Can't wait. :)

@3:57 - Also with all due respect, an in my most humble opinion - your post says a lot more about you than it does about me. I wish only for this thread to be pleasant and interesting, but I will take a moment and be quite candid with you and tell you that I truly was not sure if Jake Hagood even was gay. What I was referring to in all of my posts was more this notion of his makeup & glitter, & deciding to employ it for a very mainstream appearance... and the notion and ideas portrayed in his "Goodbye" video, the 3 versions. I won't blabber on about that here, but boiled down, they are about being yourself and not changing who you are for fame... something which I feel firmly that Adam would promote, and has promoted, and has shown by example. My posts gave no nod to orientation, but of being who you are, even if that's a little left of center, and going after your dreams in that skin. I am a fierce believer in the post-gay world btw, and do believe we'll be living in just that in my lifetime. Have a nice evening.

  19. It seems as though lately, that lots of people are coming to Adam Lambert forums to promote other artists. The fact is they are getting more appearances on this
TV shows then Adam has. Yet, their supporters are coming on here as Adam Lambert fans, which may or may not be the case, and spreading all the information about these new artists; and what they may have in common with Adam.
Let them get out there and struggle like Adam did; and earned his fan base the hard way!

We should be spending our crucial time supporting Adam, especially now.

If these people are so good; then someone should start a fan site for them. Scott can do that too. Seems to me he is trying to capitalize on Adam's fans also. Let me see Adam on Idol and other shows; then we can talk!!!!!!

Sorry, had to get that out. Just Saying......

  20. Going to subscribe to Adam's You Tube right now. We have really got to support our man to the hilt! I agree; everyone else has to take a back seat right now; as far as other entertainers are concerned!!
