I think you are getting complacent now that you know everything is served up on time like you are king of Runyon Canyon.
Pharaoh: You may be right Lam-My, too much of a good thing makes one so satisfied unlike in my previous shelter home, I have to be extra alert and on the lookout for the next feed.
Helloo Adam, yes, enjoy your tranquil home...give your brain a good quiet rest... before long, you'll be heading out on tour again; though you do enjoy the Maestros' company.

Usually it is used as a greeting like hello!...if you meet a friend.
It can however be used in the literal sense if you want to ask if your friend had lunch or dinner already or not.

未 mei / not yet .. 太早 tai jo / too early .. 唔肚餓 mm toh ngor / not hungry.
