A little over a week ago, Adam posted a video of himself on TikTok getting ready to go onstage for a Queen + Adam Lambert performance where he was touching up his eye make-up while singing "The Joke" a capella. It was subsequently reposted by the song's original singer and cowriter Brandi Carlile AND was reposted and commented on by none other than Adam's band mate, the legendary Brian May, on his Instagram account. (Thanks to our reader Dee R. Gee for the suggestion!)
Yes, Brian.....we knew it all along!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting it, broddy!
ReplyDeleteAdam did that private event yesterday. Sang Believe. The vid is very nice. Now, on to Berlin on Friday!
Sure, Dee. And the video for the Adobe event in the post below that suddenly became unavailable ... well, I found another. Let's see how long it stays up there! lol Not only did he do "Believe," Dee, but also "We Are The Champions."
ReplyDeleteGreat Hope we get to see the WATC part. I saw Believe. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteJust can't stop visiting this video of Adam singing "The Joke" backstage while making up. It's wonderful! I remember him saying once that he likes doing his own makeup before a performance because it helps get him into a performance mood...or something roughly similar to that. I wonder if he always does it himself now.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I always wonder if those sparkles (sequins, gems, ?) around his eyes ever come loose during a performance...see him do a "test shake" at the end of the video? Sweating during a performance, and regular wiping with a towel must be likely to dislodge some of those "stick-ons", I would think. Getting one in his eye during a performance could be a disaster!
