Sherri Shepherd said she'd been oh-so misunderstood: "I got bombarded with people with people who were like--I'm homophobic," said Shepherd regarding an apparent flurry of Lambert fan Twitter messages. "I said 'It had nothing to do with the man.' I would have a problem if I saw Madonna grinding some head in her crotch...Janet...I mean when her boob fell open I had just come from church with my nephews, and I was like: 'Did her boob just come out?' So I-it had nothing to do with that. I just didn't like it and everybody just bombarded my Twitter. Get off of me."
Apparently, both Hasselbeck and Shepherd had total blackouts sometime during Thanksgiving week, because both seemed completely miffed as to why Adam Lambert fans felt protective of their Glam Hero around The View crones. On The View's Hot Topics segment exactly two weeks ago on November 23rd, Elisabeth Hasselbeck stated that Adam Lambert's performance was "inappropriate for nighttime TV if you ask most people." She also stated that she was "OK" with ABC's decision to not allow The View to rebroadcast parts of Adam Lambert's performance because "quite frankly I found it to be really over the line."
