Adam Lambert Wins Weight Battle

Adam Lambert courted controversy with his lascivious performance on the American Music Awards, but in high school, “sexy” was the last adjective he would’ve expected to describe him.

“I lost probably about forty pounds about ten years ago,” the American Idol runner-up, 27, tells me. “When I was in high school, I had bad eating habits. I ate a bunch of crap – a bunch of fast food and stuff. I learned more about what’s healthy and what’s not healthy. I used a little bit of self-control.”

How did he feel after he dropped the poundage?

“Oh, a hundred times better. Physically I felt better, but I also had better self-esteem and body image.”

Despite feeling elated that he lost his fuller figure, Adam isn’t motivated to incorporate workouts into his daily routine.

“I wish,” he says. “I wish I had that much discipline.”

He is obviously gorgeous, but he could use a bit of toning. Can you imagine him being really cut? We couldn't stand it. I don't think it would take much with a personal trainer.

Valerie Nome: You're obviously a journalist or at least an intern for OK Magazine to have had an interview with Adam Lambert published in that magazine. How is it that you don't know proper grammar? "Here's a picture of Adam and I." Omitting "Adam and" would leave you writing "Here's a picture of I." Get it? I suppose you would write the following as well: "Me and Adam are shown in this picture." It galls me when people show their lack of education under their by line.

Above poster: Check out the title of the article. Adam wins battle with weight. It should be Adam won battle with weight as it happened several years ago. Just saying....

I feel he is still losing some weight. Not MAJORLY, but enought to be noticeable. I'm just noticing that his arms and torso seem a little slimmer than the Idol Tour.
He knows it too. In a couple radio interviews he was asked about it and he said it was unintentional, that he was just movie a lot more and didn't have enough time to pig out or snack as much as he used to.
I don't care, though, as long as our Adam is
healthy. I do think this slimmer Adam is a bit
cuter, but Adam on Idol and the tour was just
as cute. And equally sexy.
And I'm glad he won his battle with weight. It's
a constant battle for me, been trying to lose
around 30 pounds for the last couple years

Adam looks great as he is, but if he had a little more muscle, he would be a GOD!! I don't know if I could stand it, but I'm willing to give it a try. Come on Adam, pump a little iron. You might like the results.

You know, Adam looks great now, but I hope that he doesn't try to be stick thin. I don't want him to look like a teenager......I want him to look like the man that he is. Gosh, 6'1 can carry a lot of bulk and still look great. I remember some article calling him chubby when he was on Idol.....I thought he looked HOT! Please Adam....don't get too thin......and working out would be great! I have a full gym here at my house.....come on over and let me be your workout partner!! teehee.....what a dream that is!!
