Adam Lambert may postpone his flight to the UK!

Adam was due to land in the UK Monday afternoon and his first scheduled work is a pre-record performance for GMTV early Tuesday morning. But due to the volcanic ash plume, flights in and out of the UK will be delayed.
"Currently the U.K. and much of Europe is under the influence of high pressure, which means winds are relatively light and the dispersal of the cloud is slow," said Graeme Leitch, a meteorologist at Britain's National Weather Service. "We don't expect a great deal of change over the next few days."

Better safe than sorry! We need Adam to be safe and sound! UK can wait until this is all over and clear for all planes.

Safty first. Also, Adam will get to REST a little longer. The fans in Europe are going to ge CRAZY. and that's good too. Much waiting, Nuch anticipation. It's good.

I agree with everyone that safety comes first! Promotions comes afterwards! I'm sure he can resume work in a week. Adam needs to take this time to rest.

nobody can get in or out of the UK due to volconic ash cloud so theres no worry with Adams safety,
Adams wanted so MUCH to be in the UK for the release of FYE single 26 april and Album release on May 3....

the Volconic Dust has caused massive problems in the UK, no planes are flying anywhere for sometime to come!!!

I've heard that no one knows the effect of the volcanic ash on the lungs, only if you breathe in too much,the wetness of the lungs creates a concrete effect in the lungs. Maybe Adam should be supplied with a respirator,just as a precaution. his career could be destroyed and worse yet, it could debilitate him. Hope promoters will put safety first and not money. Better to be safe than sorry. Hope all the Lambrits are safe and taking precautions. funbunn40

Sadly Adam will NOT be allowed to fly into the UK ALL PLANES are Banned from flying!!!and i think a boat trip will just take too long,
regards the Volcanic dust cloud over the UK
we have had wall to wall sunshine for over a week you cannot see the dust,i live in the south of england and we have had no dust settling that we can see,we are not being advised to stay in or any other health problems,they say it is not a danger to health,not sure how they can be so certain,it certainley has not stopped anyone from doing normal day to day jobs,etc
the airports are jammed with people trying to get from A to B,it must be a nightmare to be stranded at airports,
the dust cloud looks like it could be here for quite a while,some saying planes will not fly maybe until middle of next week!!!!!! or longer
but all the time the volcano keeps spewing out ash and the volcano next to the one already erupting should start erupting then massive problems will spread all over the world,
is this the start to the predictions of the year 2012 !!!

sad Adams UK promotion will be delayed or even totally postponed,but there is NOTHING anyone can do about MOTHER NATURE

Thinking about all you guys in the UK. Stay safe. Rather that Adam wait till flying is deemed safe. He is so excited for his return. He loves it in the UK. Maybe he can catch a day or two of rest before travelling. He has been so busy with AI performance then the GLAAD tonight.

Listen Folks regarding the Volcanic Ash Cloud
we are not walking around in a fog of volcanic dust,the weather has been like summer for the last week in the south of England not a cloud in the sky!!
you cannot see the dust floating around etc,there was a very very thin film of dust on cars,everyone in britain is out and about having fun in the sunshine,we are not walking around in googles and face masks
the problem is way up 5 to 7 miles up where the planes fly,so everyone stop worrying.
Adams visit will have to be postponed until planes are allowed to fly again,

Adam can rest up from all his high profile performances. He was incredible on American Idol! I have heard WWFM so many times, but he invented a new remix that was stunning and goose bump inducing! His staging and light effects were out of this world and I loved his jacket! So, so handsome!! Just stay here in the USA until the flying and the breathing are completely safe.

to funbunn40 above....yes, you're right. look up silicosis, a lung disease from breathing fine stone particles/dust. occupational hazard of stone sculptors, miners etc. i learned about it from a stone sculptor who was very firm about its dangers.
Thankyou UK Lambrits for update on what's happening there.We in the U.S. look forward to Adam being in your country and sharing him. We love the videos and interviews and see more of him when he's overseas. He also feels very welcome there and will be disappointed if he can't keep all of his committments.
