He tweeted about the Harem pants... and about LOVING his dancers... check out the tweets! Why do I get the feeling that these tweets were not off the cuff and were a little bit by design to say - WHATEVS to the naysayers, even the actual FAN naysayers... and if those tweets were indeed sort of subtley by design - I say GOOD FOR YOU AL, you tell 'em!! Enjoy the ride I say, so very many opinions being put forth BY FANS... why not just enjoy the ride. Just MY opinion, don't hate on me - everyone's free to comment on the hair, the clothes, the dancers - have at it... I'm being hypocritical I guess cuz I'm sharing my opinion too, my opinion that even FANS are putting forth so many opinions lately... I guess that's what blogs are for - but I really have this feeling that the tweets (check them out for yourselves) were a little tiny message to his FANS to sort of say "whatevs..." Any of you hard core 24/7-ers have thoughts on this??? (again, I'm being hypocritical I guess, lol, cuz I'm asking for your thoughts and opinions :) - but at least it's not on the subject of his every single style choice etc., sheesh... although I guess that's part of the fun with following Lambert and I shouldn't be being preachy on this great site - I guess I'm just more of an unconditional love type of person, which isn't necessarily good I suppose... I certainly do have my less than supportive thoughts about AL, I guess I just don't feel the need to constantly post what my own personal preferences are, but again, I suppose that's part of the fun of blogging and AL fandom... I just hate to see someone with so much creativity picked apart so publicly by his FANS... but to each his own I guess). But check those tweets out - a subtle little message in there IMHO.

Anon 5:29

I agree 100% with you. :) Well said!

I agree with you Anon 5.29. I love Adam unconditionally and he can wear what he likes, when he likes, he can wear heaps of make up or no make up, he can dye his hair like a zebra or shave half of it off. Whatever he wants to do is fine by me. I love him totally and unconditionally, he looks spectacular in whatever he decides to wear and surely it is his choice, nobody elses. I get tired of having to defend him, especially to "fans", but I will ALWAYS defend Adam, no matter what.

Love Adam Lambert, his singing, his personality, his smile and everything about him.
I do not like his pants and like his old hairstyle better but he looks great whatever he does. Will be going to see him soon, can't wait.

I saw the tweets. I still don't like his dancers. It's nothing personal, but they are not an asset. His hair and his pants I don't like, but that's not a big deal. The dancers are ruining his career.
The only reason the haters don't talk about his dancers is they'd like him to keep them. imo

Here we go again. 50% of you like Adam 50% of the time. Not true fans. So sad.

ADAM is beautiful ALL the time and his creativeness is what makes him so unique and brilliant! NEVER underestimate the Power of ADAM
....he is genius performer! How can anyone critize ADAM....and call themselves a fan!

Love you Dianne! Takes someone from NZ to say it as it is! Thought you were an Aussie there for a moment! At least we were blessed with the same outspoken view as ADAM and I consider that a real plus! ADAM is such a beautiful individual
who totally rocks and there is no room for any
negativities where he is concerned! I can't believe how demanding and critical people are
but it's true you can please them all!

lol. Agree with Anon 11:23 p.m. and 5:29.
Plus Adam can and should enjoy dancers, lights and lasers and whatever he wants in the stage..I don't know what the problem is, people, Adam still sings when the dancers are there(he's not Michael Bublé or something, he's a POP Rock artist). My advice to you is focus only on Adam and the glam band like I do because they are what matters besides the dancers will certainly please the younger audience...it's For Your Entertainment people, you just have to choose how, but I adore Adam no matter what he does, wears, chooses or not..so I guess I'm a bit biased. ^_^

...try can't instead of can!!!!!! (keys got stuck!)

Very good points "Portuguese Fan @ 5:17". So true the Michael Buble comment, lol. And in all seriousness, like you mentioned, I also mentioned on another thread the fact that some of my teenage relatives LIKE the dancers - and if those dancers intrigue the teenagers, a cd buying fanbase which Lambert needs to keep enticing, then so be it! Just sharing the thoughts of some teens in my own personal little world! Not that anyone is asking, but I like the dancers simply because I think they give Lambert a context so to speak.

Since you asked for our thoughts about this anon. 5:29, I think those of us who watched American Idol last year fell in love with a very wholesome, almost always smiling, extraordinarily sweet, hardly any make-up, hair-almost-always-down, 1970's-style Adam, who did every single thing impeccably. If there was anything/anyone else on the stage with him, they were top of the line and fantastic. So we got used to this over a period of many months, and came to see it as normal. And even though I try really hard to be more and more unconditional, I still catch myself getting caught up in that expectation. I realize he can't have that quality of everything all the time, but it's still the Adam I met and fell in love with. He is doing wonders at expanding my point of view and willingness, but what you see and get to know of someone at first somehow stays with you pretty strongly. Maybe it's that "first impressions" thing.

Anyway, I'm guessing that those of us who didn't see Adam last January/February on A.I. might be the ones who are more laid back and open-minded about all these things. Did A.I. only air in the U.S. and Finland back then?

Anyway, I am sincerely impressed with those of you who don't have the expectations and sometimes disappointments that others of us seem to. I'm working on it!

:)

p.s. should have said late 1960's/early 1970's. (Many of us thought our dreams and ideals of those times were back in Adam....I never would have imagined that Adam would have Vanilla Ice hair, Hammer pants, etc.)

5:29 here - thanks so very much for your articulate comments! I am a fan from the very beginning of AI and would like to respond, but I'm sort of rushing right now (and plus, I just got scolded on another more recent thread about being too longwinded :( so I better not, lol) but maybe I'll come back another time. Thanks again 'though, your enlightening post was much appreciated.
