There is no such thing as "worldwide platinum"

Platinum in the US is 1 million copies and right now FYE is Gold but will possibly end up going Platinum.

FYE is platinum in Canada which means it sold over 80,000 copies there.

FYE is also Platinum in New Zealand which means it sold over 15,000 copies there.

I don't mean to be rude or anything but you said that as if it were a fact when in all reality you have no idea what you are talking about.

GaGa Fan: The AMA thing was "in the moment" for Adam and shocked him that it shocked anyone. Liking Adam as you do, you found his album cover shocking? It was over the top camp.

Adam is a performer. GaGa is a performance artist who is always in character. Don't you think that Adam would be laughed off the stage if he came out to perform in the male equivalent of any of GaGa's costumes?

When I see pictures of Adam at a Major League Baseball game in his underwear and flipping off the crowd, I will be shocked. GaGa's done it twice now. Yankees and Mets games.

Do Buble or Connick shock? If not, how is it they're selling so well?

I find her talented with a good voice, however you and I should agree to disagree on the subject of GaGa vs Adam and shock. :))

But really, to Josh (who I am assuming is not Anonymous July 14 3:36PM because Josh comes off as direct enough to have responded himself w/ his tag if he had a problem with my post) I really was sincerely trying to help ensure that you're informative post got read, because honestly, I was feelin' what you were saying :)!... but you get more bees with honey and all that, just my POV, (which I will take note of myself as well!) and I think we have to remember that, again my POV only, just like AL's fanbase itself, this blog has a very diverse participants and not everyone will be as informed as you are about such things and I'd hate to see them made to feel silly or foolish about that ('ya know, nobody likes to be embarrassed and all that sort of thing, anonymous blog though it may be). I'm very surprised you used the words shocking about Adams cd cover, what is remotely shocking about it? Does it depict guns, blood, violence, sex etc. nope, just a made up,OTT guy a la 70's glam rock. As to the AMA's, have watched it several times on youtube, didn't find it shocking in the least. In fact I find it more 'shocking' that people can be so too faced and biased about a guy doing something that female performers have been doing for years.

And congrats to Adam on the 1m mark. I just wish they counted legal downloads in with those numbers, it would be a lot higher I'm sure.
