I thought North Americans especially the US are more liberal minded than the Asians! I am so dead wrong!!! And I know they are very conservative to a point. And yet they have embraced & accepted FEVER as a great song, even at #1!!!
What's wrong with US? Have they falling so far behind, thinking they are coming ahead... lol

That is just so fabulous!!! Just wish we could do the same here in the US...Adam must be just thrilled and filled with happiness to be so popular and appreciated there...just like he should be here in his own country...Fever is my favorite high energy go-to song on his album and the fan favorite at his concerts, its a huge shame they feel nervous about releasing it here...Maybe there is still hope!!! You never know..the anticipation is killing me!!!

IMO the reason Fever is #1 in Singapore, it's because English isn't their first language and Fever has a great bit sound. It's catchy and fun song to listen and dance. Does anyone know how this song is doing in Austriala since it was released there first?

America seems to becoming a little backwards, not only in music but in many other ways. Only, we, Americans, can change this image. We need to do more than lip sync to make everyone aware that we are not just making good music, but we give our artists an equal opportunity. It would be a big step in the right direction if we embraced FYE as a single. I am not naive enough to believe they will embrace Fever.

Wish he'd release Aftermath and Sleepwalker in any order, then Music Again, then Fever. They'd all go ballistic on the radio.

@12,25
most Singaporeans speak perfect English so don't the language is an issue.
Congrats to Adam on no1.

It's ironic that Fever has ONE questionable word (He), compared to FYE's way more explicit lyrics and yet we will never hear Fever as a single on the radio.

I mean c'mon...."hold ya down until your screamin' my name"; "work ya til your totally blown"; "take the pleasure take the pain I'm the master of both",etc. Let's not even get started about so many other artists disgusting lyrics.

So I wonder, what the hell is wrong with America?
PRS

By the way, I love all of Adam's songs, including FYE.

But it's correct for radios play music that says: I KISSED A GIRL I LIKED IT by Katty perry.. i don't understand americans fortunately i'm not one of you.

The problem in America is that what is ok for female artists has not been ok for male artists - something that Adam has been saying for a long time. Adam is working so hard to break through this ceiling. What he has going for him is his talent, showmanship, and his american fanbase. Fever would definitely fit on American radio and the guys that run the radio stations need to play more of Adam's music because the demand is there. Keep voting and requesting Adam's songs.

@PRS: I wonder the same thing myself. LOL.

I really like the lyrics in FYE, btw. Too hot!!

I'm also wondering if Fever reach no #1 in more countries, will American radio embrace it?

Adam is gaining more favor with djs lately, at least what I've seen with Y-100 in Fl. I still have hope that Fever being successful in Singapore and other countries will make America sit up and take notice. Adam has steadily been moving in the right direction, a little at a time gaining much favor from the GNT and his positive messages and work ethics. He has gained a lot of respect for his talent and personal demeanor in the past year. He's overcome a very rocky start, proving his merit and then some. The fans in Singapore are first class and have really stepped up and shown Adam the love! Thankyou Singapore! You rock!!! funbunn40
