Adam Lambert's Feel Something Foundation Makes Sizable Donation to LGBTQ Freedom Fund

We fight the mass jailing of LGBTQ people. Each day, tens of thousands of LGBTQ people are held in jail or immigration detention because they cannot afford bail—for immigration status or charges like sleeping in public. With your help, the Freedom Fund posts bail to secure their release and safety. In tandem, we raise awareness of the epidemic of LGBTQ overincarceration. We strive towards a critical mass against mass detention. Please consider volunteering or supporting us with a donation today.

The Feel Something Foundation (FSF), launched late 2019 by Adam Lambert, is a nonprofit organization in support of LGTBQ+ human rights. Aiming to ensure support is given to myriad issues that continue to disproportionately affect the LGTBQ+ community, the foundation assists those charities that are moving the needle for communities of all ages and backgrounds. These are organizations that have a mission or project directly focused on impacting the LGBTQ+ community in areas of Education & the Arts, Homelessness, Suicide Prevention and Mental Health.

The launching of the foundation was the result of Adam’s career traveling the world, meeting global members of the community, hearing their stories and witnessing first-hand the difficulties LGBTQ+ people continue to face in all areas of life. As a member of the community himself and having engaged in charitable work and activism throughout his career, the Feel Something Foundation sees Adam’s philanthropy institutionalized into an organization with the aim to truly make a difference. FSF builds its revenue through the personal charitable contributions of its founder, directors and with public funds raised through fundraising and awareness campaigns, events and initiatives.

GRAMMY Museum's Public Programs Digital Series Features ADAM LAMBERT on June 15, 2020

Adam Lambert will be interviewed by Scott Goldman, Artistic Director of the GRAMMY Museum, for the museum's Public Program Digital Series on Monday, June 15, 2020.  The interview will be available on their website that day and we'll post more details when they become available.

Adam's participation was revealed in a story posted on the GRAMMY Museum website news page which announced a slate of new interviews with a number of recording artists.  Some of the interviews are being newly recorded from the artists' homes via Zoom and some are never-before-publicly-posted archived videos of in-person interviews that took place, pre-pandemic, at the museum's Clive Davis Theatre in Los Angeles.

Adam's interview is brand new and will be done digitally from his home.

The series, which kicked off April 18th with Soul Asylum, was created in response to the museum's continued closure due to COVID-19 "shelter-in-place" regulations.  In place of actually visiting the museum, its management designed the series to provide fresh content to the public both musically and by way of interviews with people who make the music for people to enjoy at home.

Other notable artists coming in June for the interview series include Haim and Andy Grammer.

Thank you to our reader Sunflower for the find!
