I do love me my precious East Coast something fierce... but not today fans, nope not today :).
Get good vids peeps!
Good luck to all going for tix.
MGF
(maybeSanta will come thru with an early Christmas present
holds approx 2,500 people. approx same size as the venues he's been playing.
google 2300 people
Maybe if it sells out quickly another show will be added. Hope he does FYE, but the show is open to all ages. What a great Christmas present! Now my mind is starting to plot. Have until 10/10 to make plans. OMG that's only a few days from now.
I was at a concert there a few months ago. It will be GA on the bottom floor. We sat in the balcony and those are fantastic seats. Great venu. Located at the LA Live complex. Many places to hang out before and after the show and eat. I'm so happy. I was waitng for a LA venue to open up.
OMG!!!! I've been waiting and waiting for this! I don't care what I have to pay for the tickets....I'm going!!!
Please Glamberts let the locals buy the tickets first. I'm from L.A. and I hope I can get my tickets this Friday. I know even people from overseas want to attend this show because the venue is at the heart of Downtown L.A. Hope they add another show in L.A. but I doubt it because Adam got other radio and t.v. gigs on December.
2300 seats only. Come on Adam's management he can fill up Staples Center. I believe this will be his last show for 2010. Why not a huge celebration at a bigger venue?
Why such a small venue in LA of all places? This just doesn't make sense. Family and friends of Adam, band, dancers will fill half of it :) Are you kidding me? 2,300 seats? This is not Lubbock. This is Adam Freaking Lambert!!!
I was so excited forgot to sign my tag on the first post here! Hope they will do what happened in Costa Mesa when he sold out the 8500 venue, they added another show. The Nokia currently shows no performances the nite before nor the nite after! Keeping my fingers crossed. Adamluv
I don't get it either, why sell a venue that seats 2,300 out in 30 seconds when you could sell a venue out that seats 10,000+ in a day, and avoid having thousands of fans from across the country (and many internationally as well) be disappointed? I've been watching this like a hawk, and Glamberts have been posting all over the place they'd be flying in from all over to go to one final Glam Nation show in L.A. if the announcement came out. I can only hope a second (or third) show will be added!
I'm with you Anon. 2:26 -- I will pay whatever it takes to get to this concert. Was at Costa Mesa, will be at Hawaii and now in my home town. Great! But I agree with many comments above that they should have booked Adam in a larger venue. Hopefully, they will add an additional date. My b-day is in December - what better b-day gift to myself than going to see my favorite performer ... EVER! Life is good!!
Oh my, gonna have to miss this one...after travelling the entire world this year to see Adam, and yet LA is my second home.
We thought this would come up in July and then Beiber was booked instead! So it was SD,
SF, SAC, CMesa and Vegas instead. Heading to Australia for Glam Nation right now.
We keep forgetting that it has barely been one year since Adam off Idol tour, his debut album released, his first solo tour, and all that basically on his come-back from AMA. This is actually quite phenomenal! His management has had a lot of faith in him, so to speak, as they are paying for and paving his way. One year is a very short time for any artist starting out. This economy is also a killer, and is not relenting. I believe we want it fast and furious for Adam, and cannot wait for a normal procession of things to come. Well I am guilty of the same thing. I also think Adam would perform 52 weeks out of the year, if he could.
Glamberts wanted small venues, so stop whining.
Got my tickets for L.A.! Paid a FORTUNE, but I'm guessing it'll be his last concert for awhile and I want to be there!! Besides, he should put on an amazing show for his home crowd!! Can't wait!!!
