Wow! 24/7 you are very efficient and I'm bored watchin' movie re-runs‼ Watching Mama Mia... peeking in here and yet another update‼... hehe

US charts has to do better than this... js Still good news for Adam... cuz he's up there‼ :)

Anonymous said...

I agree with Anon 10:17

I think these US charts should be better....and I have to shake my head when I see #16 on the AC chart.

Did you guys notice the order on the Top 40 chart?

40 Kelly
41 Adam
42 Kris

I think that's pretty cool!

Although I must say, I had thought that WWFM had done A LOT better than Kris' LLWD than just one notch.

Also interesting that on the Hot AC it's Kris, then Adam right after.

Those two are pure BFFs..!! :)

I am very disappointed, should be at least at the top 40 of the Top 40 Chart, and the AC Chart, I gusss it's alright.
Personally, I think he should be at the top 10, maybe I am just being bias.

How can Kesha be #1 and Gaga#2? Orianthi at #26 way ahead of Adam? Is she big in the US? A lot of rap crap, music I just can´t stand. Kesha and Adam on the same label RCA. It´s easy to see where they put their effort and support. It is not on the gay guy.

Radio play people. Orianthi, for example, got tons of spins. (pisses me off actually, but the talent is undeniable, onward & upward I suppose, resistance is futile).

Anonymous said...

If Adam has fair radio play, his songs will be on top like in the other countries.

Anonymous said...

These charts are absolutely ridiculous. Nuff said.

Anonymous said...

Don't agree with any of this! Bottom line, if adam got even half the radio play he should of, he would of been in the top 5 of all these charts!

Anonymous said...

just compare it when they sing live and u will see who will be on top ha!ha! Adam Lambert

Anonymous said...

Critics are being blind and deaf that's all.

2011 rock n' roll.............Adam will be on top again and again and again so on.............

We need to ignore the US chart!!

Anonymous said...

This chart is totally BS. Same BS we will continue to get from Congress. One thing Adam has done for me is to understand better the perspective other countries have of the US. We think we're the best most tolerant free country in the world, but maybe, just maybe we're not???

Can't believe that Kesha is #1 and Gaga is #2. Bad Romance is a much better song and vocals are better (and I saw Gaga live). According to you is way too high on chart and yes Orianthi is an exceptional guitar player, but I think her high radio play came from being associated with MJ, not based on the song, which is just OK and not better than WWFM, IMO. This is based on my seeing both of those songs performed live and Adam blows everyone out of the water. Radio needs to get with it. Happy that Adam is on the chart, but the chart at the top is definitely biased, IMO. KLM

Is this chart based on sales? Does Kesha sell more than Gaga? It´s hard to believe. It all looks strange to me, but what do I know, I live in Europe. Here it is Gaga Gaga Gaga all the time. She is def over exposed and I´m so fed up with her. Adam is never on MTV or VH1. I think those channels are London based in Europe, and they play mostly british music (and Gaga).

Maybe Adam can give Ke$ha some pointers on clothing and hair and make-up and singing please. She looks like sh*t and sings even worse. I just don't get it. She was an embarrassment on NYE show.

Very few of those listed can just stand there and sing. Many of them need electronic help. But kids don't care about any of that. They would not know vocal talent if it smacked them in the face. Makes you wonder why Glee is so popular. Things might be changing??? I can only hope. Rap isn't music. I don't know where it fits, but it's not melodic. I actually like rap, but it's not really music IMO.

Have to agree with the comments above. These US charts are an embarrassment compared with the rest of the world. Very disappointing! But I still dont understand the animosity towards Keisha? I like the girl.

I don't dislike Kesha as a person, but she is the worst singer of the current pop stars. I have to turn the radio off when We R who we R starts playing. Hip hop is a whole culture and much better influence for the kids than the hippie culture I think. I hope they don't include Adams pot smoking in Amsterdam in the GNT dvd. It was funny, but not the most remarkable stage act of his tour.

Don't like this charts, but this is results from Billboard. Yes, this is very important, but I didn't know anything about Billboard before I became Adam's fan.
Did they include little troll Justin B in any lists for 2010? I coudn't find it even in the Canada charts. Did I miss his name or songs?
Adam got many recognitions and awards around the world. Think about it: he finally got some recognitions and nom in US. This is just first year for Adam. We have to be patient and be sure Adam is gonna be in top 10 next year!

Lady Antebellum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Anon 10:33am
Hey! I'm a 12 year old I hate almost everything in pop music today!
I can rarely find a song by someone in the pop music industry that I like
Everything is electronic and edited
There's nothing to today's pop music

I do like Colbie Caillat (Acoustic sound, no voice editing) Lady Gaga (although not all her stuff has piano or guitar, some of it does and she doesn't use voice editing) and today's country music!!!!!! Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Jennette McCurdy... NOT Taylor Swift
I love the Beatles, Carole King, Elvis Presley, Carly Simon, The Monkees, The Beach Boys...

So do I have awful taste in music?

Bieber is still huge in Youtube..

The US charts are always so disappointing compared to other countries. WHY?

The Dark Side said...

The most interesting thing about these figures is they are so out of tilt with others throughout the world. Everywhere, but the US Adam is in the top ten. WTF is the problem???

To 1:40 PM maybe you have lived before in another era or can feel a good melody. I know a teen who only loves the music from Woodstock or that style, Crosbie Stills Nash.

btw, I teach grade 6 and you write and spell better than most 12 yr olds hmmm...

Anonymous said...

Kesha's songs have simple repetitave words, a simple catchy tune and a simple basic beat that young teens can sing along to.
Maybe Adam should try one like this! Tho I don't think he could stand it..

"The masses" often don't appreciate or recognize quality. Look at the line-ups for fast food..

@10:38PM
Well thank you very much! I appreciate that a lot! (Both the grammar compliment and the musical compliment)
