Great video. Adam will be as big if not bigger than Gaga one day. The love and joy he exudes while performing just draws you to him. I have never in my life followed anyone like this.Adam just makes me feel so happy!

Fantastic video. So perfect for Adam. He gives out so much love and light. He was really born to entertain and we, the fans, are the lucky ones to be on the receiving end of all that is Adam.

Adam is a shining example of how to live your own life to fulfill your destiny. The rest of the world be dammed.

I wonder if this was written as an homage to our beautiful Adam. If it was, thanks. If it wasn't, it should have been.

I find I like Gaga's voice a lot better if I can look at Adam while she sings!

What was his L.A. white shirt made of? Tissue paper?

@1:06, Think we've all been glitterised and mesmerised by this man from the planet Fierce! I get a visceral reaction every time I see, hear him sing, speak, move or do absolutely nothing. I've never been this affected by any entertainer! It's nuts! He's like the Pied Piper. I'd follow him over a cliff in a heartbeat! He's my drug of choice and I dislike taking any type of medicine for any reason. I'm totally addicted. Think we're all pretty much in the same boat! Love the company!! Great video and song. It brings up the GNT in all it's glory! Can't wait for the video. Hope Adam will perform somewhere to promote dvd or Trevor Project,even sing the Star Spangled banner for any event. Really got spoiled with new GNT videos almost daily. Need an Adam fix![also like posts of Adamfix on this site and so many others!] Wonder when Adam will surface, withdrawel setting in... funbunn40

I like the Pied Piper analogy. There are special people in world...........those who seem to have a MAGIC about them.

I'm lucky I know 3 personally......and of course, Adam.

Amen to that, so agree with you 100%....

@funbunn40 love your analogy, I also have never felt this way about anyone, its so good to hear all of you say everything that I'm feeling and thinking, I don't feel so alone.

Wherever you go for your daily shot of sweet Adam, please give us a ride. Even in a one way «out of body» trip.

I'm curious do you guys have family around you who are understanding of the "SPELL" you're under or do they think you're nuts?

I live in a nest of infidels, it's not easy.

@ JAK

I have no family, only my 10 months old cat Icon... and my 24/7 «Paradise» Glamily.
I'm not sure about my «Glamily», but my cat Icon doesn't think I'm nuts. HE IS PRETTY SURE I AM!

PS: What do you think about a cat loving «Soaked»? I mean, you know what they say about cats and water (hot or cold)... Ha!

I have a family around me, none of who are fans of adams, although they liked him on AI, I get lots of eye rolling, and 'there's something seriously wrong with you' etc, although my youngest daughter knows most of the words to the songs, and my oldest daughter made me a cd of Adam songs and drew me a brilliant cd cover for xmas...

Anonymous said...

@Fan4fun

I am no longer a cat person, my LUCY went to cat heaven several years ago (I cried a week) and I had to make the choice....another cat or keep my husband.

He had patiently waited out her lifespan, asking me weekly "How long do cats live?" She lived a long time.

Lucy's favorite music was Michael Bolton.

@HKfan

Oh yes, lots of eye rolling. I have 2 daughters who loved Adam singing ROCK on Idol, but hate POP music so they abandoned him.

My son in law thinks I'm cool, calls me MA THE STALKER and made me a large combo collage sculpture for Christmas. It's an island with palm trees and a banner GLAM VILLE ISLE, glitter sand beach, glam rocks, strings of blinking lights, tiny photos of Adam leaning against the tree and standing in the surf with tiny dolphins leaping around him. Sequins and rhinestones everywhere.

He presented it with tiny tiki torches lit! Best gift I ever received!

NOW THAT'S A SON IN LAW! Joy abounds!

Thank goodness someone out there is speaking for human rights. I hope alot of people wake up and see how many fabulous people they are missing by being so shallow. Thanks GaGa for speaking and empowering so many like Adam. Wow he should be so proud he was born with this ability to bring people together all over this planet. Loved the video. Another ispirational look at Adams presents in so manys lives. Be kind to one another.

@JAK
The question about whether we have others around us who are fans of Adam: I am fortunate that I do indeed have family and many (mostly new..) friends who are fans as well. The friends I have found in the last year, at concerts, and a couple of blogs, plus one or two friends from "real life"...(Traveled with 5 of my recent Adam friends to LA in Dec. and had a ball, and have met up with several from here as well...). I am also extremely fortunate to have a husband who is a big fan, and family members, all of whom have been to multiple concerts with me, although I have been to the most ; ) .... My husband has "been there" with me since we first saw Adam on the Top 13 on Idol, when he totally and immediately blew us away, with his personality, his voice, and all the other "stuff" that he possesses. As some here know, my hubby was the one who insisted we start voting for Adam when he was in the bottom 3 (eek!), which was quite surprising to me, the fact that he would actually vote in a reality contest. Some of the rest of the (extended) family had to be convinced (coerced?? bribed???) ) at first to watch the DVR'd performances ("American Idol..Really??") , but were immediately converted with the realization that Adam was extremely talented and a fabulous human being as well, and I wasn't kidding about this totally amazing Adam Lambert guy. My son was "a drama geek" in high school so totally "got" Adam's theatricality. So I really feel more than lucky, although I AM just a BIT more into the fandom than the others. (And they do look sideways at me once in awhile..). We all sit around with our goofy grins when watching anything Adam-related on TV, whether its a performance or an interview, and my husband enjoyed our front row seats at one concert just as much as I did (well, maybe almost...)..so yes, I am really fortunate to have someone to talk to about Adam besides myself. Don't know how I got so lucky, but am so thankful.

Dammit - I WANT TO SEE ADAM AND GAGA ON STAGE...TOGETHER......OOOOOH THE ENERGY, THE ELECTRICITY.....THE FUN....THE EXCITEMENT....THE SHEER, SHEER ENTERTAINMENT......................

Beautiful comments from their fans, impire for this amazing and loved Superstar.

I would have chosen another cat instead of the husband.

JAK - you've got a great son-in-law! What a wonderful thing to do for you. My son-in-law was on the LA shoot for Adam when he did Oprah, told Adam how I felt and got a personalized autographed picture just for me - which I, of course, cherish! I've slowly converted my daughter - took her to 2 shows (Costa Mesa and Hawaii) and she's now a fan ... altho she's still a bit concerned about my 'obsession'. Ha!

Anonymous said...

JAK - OMG, I absolutely love your posts! You crack me up. Your son-in-law rocks!

I have one friend who likes Adam (and went with me to my first concert in Seattle, where I live) but otherwise? No. Nobody gets my obsession...when I talk about it, they say "yeah, get it" but I think they're just trying to placate me, and all think I have absolutely lost it. Of course, I don't let on the true level of my obsession because then they would KNOW I'd lost it!

My husband says he gets it, but then gets mad because I stay up so late at night stalking Adam, and don't make him as much the priority as he used to be, before Adam came along (heh, heh - that sounds bad!)...but he got us tickets to fly down and see Adam's last GNT show in LA, and after seeing him performs live said "wow, he's the real deal...I get it".

If it weren't for all of you, here, I would explode glitter. I gotta have an outlet for my Adam mussings, or I would go nuts. And who better to "talk" to about Adam than other fervent fans? So thank you all, again, for being there for me. :)

I do my obsessing privately. When I first saw Adam on idol I told all my family and friends and they all agreed how wonderful he sounded etc, but after a year of me going on and on and on, they were a bit over it, the husband in particular got real grumpy. I think because I had jumped out of my normal self that they were used to.So now I come here and emaail other friend I have made thru a couple of othersites, quietly and keep it to myself. Sad really. Thats why I like to come here but I wish everyone could choose a name even just a nickname, just add it after your comment as I do. Also youe country is nice to know.

Ditto to @Jadam NZ. That's why I come here too...so you're not alone @JAK.....but we've got each other - not to mention the God of Love, Beauty, and Entertainment like HH said! (and I'll add Truth, Enlightenment, and Being Yourself!)

:)

@Jadam NZ

In reference to obsessing alone...I bought a computor just to follow Adam! Nearly went in to withdrawal when Idol was over.

I had never touched a computor and then my terrific son in law said "You can watch all his Idol performances on a computor". I said "order it" and I've lived happily ever after!"

Still don't know my way around the computor but the path to Adam is well trampled.

Life is good.....JAK in Florida

Thank you so much for this beautiful video! When I first heard Born This Way - All I could think of was Adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love GA GA and think this may be her biggest hit. She is of course a giant talent. But Adam is far above the rest. I know this song was written as a sort of tribute to Whitney Houston, which was nice of Ga Ga to say. However, Whitney was good in her time. But I will always associate the one and only Adam Lambert with Born This Way. Even when I saw the cover of Lady Ga Gas CD, I cried and thought - ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!!!!!!

You wouldn't trade this husband for a cat.

When he retired 15 years ago he said "What do you hate the most about housekeeping?" I replied, "washing dishes, dealing with leftovers,washing clothes and folding, grocery shopping and dragging the vacuum around!"

I haven't touched any of these jobs in 15 years.
Once I got over him turning the white clothes alternately pink or gray I was a happy woman.

Give this up for car hair? I think not!

Great Video...song is perfect with Adam
...also Great Comments from everyone with your Lovely stories of Life with Adam Lambert...as you all know i have been off line for around 7 weeks..i know it was so awful..i was very unwell for nearly 5 so probaly wouldn't of been sat at the computer like i always am...but did have all my wonderful pics of Adam on my wall so Adam was always there to see..kiss and lick...
but it sure is Brilliant being back with all my GLAMSISTAS...you guys ROCK.....its fantastic when i'm on 24/7 you guys don,t seem that far away...when i was offline it felt like i had lost everything..no one to talk and lust about Adam with.... even my sister wouldn't let me use her laptop to leave a message. for you guys...next time i visit her i will take a pot of glitter and scatter it around her home...anyways i did make it through but am struggling to catch up still...but i am slowly tracking back
Gotta say JAK...i have been reading your comments and your'e a scream....and as for your cat /hubby remarks so funny
most regs on here already know lots about me,but just to let you know....i don't have any kids but i do have 4 (furkids) cats...who i adore and i know they love Adam....i live on the Beautiful Isle of Wight UK...its a tiny speck of land...i live in a cottage at the bottom of a dead end lane. surrounded by trees, one side is an orchard and other side is woodland...which i often run through looking for Adam.....i feed every night 5 Badgers and 6 Red Foxes on my patio.......its about 5 to 7 mins from the sea ...15mins from the cliffs...i work from home....i only see who i want to see...my loved one is a real darling (at times) he seems quite happy for me to spend all night on the computer drooling over Adam F Lambert...he does cry out at times for food, clean clothes and sometimes i do feel bad
(only sometimes though) when i hear him in the kitchen washing up....and once he did go to work with a rather dirty shirt
....Adam is the highlight of my life...me and loved one did go the London Gig back in nov to see Adam...it was FANTASTIC and i will never forget and still daydream ... loved one i think enjoyed it but he did drink a fair bit of jack Daniels
i never want to go back to a life without Adam ever..
we do have some great laughs on some of the threads and its such fun
Jak i gotta say..thats some son in law you have..

My daughter likes Adam but she thinks i'm a bit obsessed. My son doesn't care for him, but hasn't really listened to all of Adam's music. I have a sister who is also crazy about Adam and some good friends. Now for my husband, he is the best. He came to a concert with me and left in awe of Adam. He lets me talk about Adam, He will watch videos with me and thinks it's cute when I get excited. Perhaps that is his ulterior motive, but all I care is that he gets it!

@ Dana 1:06pm Think most of the fans on this site think alike, particularly when it comes to our rockgod Adam! Are you the same Dana I met in Charlotte with your son? If so. happy to see you here, if not,still happy to see you here! @ Adamfix We are a pretty glamtastic bunch on this site in our unabashed adoration of Adam! I've gotten my fair share of eye rolling, even from my 2 cats that aren't as cultured as Fan4fun's Icon![pretty discriminating,loving the operatic Soaked!]Some pretty supportive hubbys [smart too!]realizing the benefits of Adam's magic! Think MGF's hubby in that elite bunch! @glitzylady Think your hubby takes the ultimate love the Lambert prize! @Fan4fun This site is where I go for my Adam "out of body" experiences, along with the major one of seeing him live! I still haven't recovered from the Jingle Ball in Fl, looking into those magnificent, magnetic eyes! funbunn40

@ HKfan, What a beautiful, thoughtful gift to make the Adam cd cover and cd. My 30yr old grandaughter also made me a cd of Adam'd Idol songs that I play everytime I'm driving. @JadamNZ I also like to know where in the world fans post and it would be nice if all had a tag. There are 2 fans in Charlotte that I met at the GNT here. They don't live that close, but we're planning on getting together in the next few weeks. I don't even mention Adam to neighbors, as I know he wouldn't be their cup of tea, so like many of us this is where I find others as myself, smitten and magically obsessed. funbunn40

2 JAK,Like you, thought the white shirt in LA and in earlier concerts looked like tissue paper. The bare shoulders a little extra to enjoy! I thought I had the ultimate son-in-laws, but yours is golden! Wish you could find a way to post a pic of it for all of us to worship!! I had to laugh when you said you purchased a computer to follow Adam! That's exactly what I did! I still don't know how to post any pics, videos, etc.and think I gave ZZ a good laugh when I didn't have a clue about copying and pasting.Thanks to my grandaughter in Fl. I can soak up all of these links that are so generously posted here! What part of Fl are you located? I spend several months in winter in Coral Springs/ Boca, Ft. Laud. area and lived there for 13 years. My 2 daughters and teir husbands are there. My grandaughter and her friends think it's so cool that I've turned into a groupie.Only one of the guys in her circle thinks it's creepy! haha My son went with me to the Idol concert and GNT in Charlotte. He also thinks it's cool and is thankful that I'm rockin' with Adam than complaining in a rocking chair![I'm 70 and still upright!]One daughter met me in Raleigh, NC and we spent the weekend at another GNT meeting the most fun, interesting people. She, her sister friends and I saw Adam at the Hard Rock and again met fans I had seen before. The last one was with a daugter and a M&G with Adam at Y-100 Jingle Ball. They like Adam, but get sick of me going on about every little thing.They politely nod and are conspiring to put me in a home! haha I've always liked music[all kinds] but never would take time out of my busy life to follow in any way.My husband[when living]and I would go to the theatre, concerts,clubs, etc, enjoy the time and go on with life. I have so many things to do, but this is so much more fun! While in Fl. I had the opportunity to pursue a long ago aquaintance/friend with a good looking 6'4 handsome Swede. Enjoyed time spent, but missed my 24/7 Adam time! How sick is that? @ Irene Rose, You are definitely part of this Weird Adam facination club. We have our own glamily here! Isn't it fun? @GIOW/UK Again so glad you're back! You paint such a vivid pic. of Isle of Wight. I can imagine your cottage, the woods and foxes, the badgers I've seen can be pretty viscious. Hope you continue to have good health. We missed you while you were away and the many laughs! Two hungry cats are staring at me now for attention, a paw on the laptop. Guess that's a hint to give them their petting time! Ciao for now...funbunn40
