Wasn't that taken on the night that Adam was @ the Equality Awards??I had to look up the husband's web series( had not heard of it)Is that guy Cheeks,Adam's ex??
The url's where to vote for Adam in 3 places are under "New clip of Adam Lammbert @ the DSAs"( shows Kim K..so tired of her on everything)Oh,well. We have to leave later & buy a few things in case Hurricane Irene knocks out our power( I'm still praying that it will change course & go east far enough that nobody will be seriously injured)Since we live a little outside the city limits,If the power goes out,not only will we "burn up" in this hot weather, but will have no water either( well water with electric pump ):..need more drinking water also.I'll fill both bathtubs with water also.To all who may be in Irene's path,I pray that things won't be so bad.Who else is concerned about the hurricane??Maybe it won't hit some of the states north of here.(NC)
Here in Florida we are getting a pass on first big blow of the season, but end of October is a long way off so we stay semi prepared all thru hurricane season. We too are hoping for a more eastward turn to spare the coastline "up north". JAK
Thinking of u @JAK! Sure wish we had a hurrican here in Oklahoma! It's so dry here , I can't stand it anymore!! Adam makes u forget there is somebody else in the pic! Mwah!! K
I live on the N.J. coast and I hear reports that the hurricane is traveling right up the coast. I pray it turns east and goes out to sea. In the mean time we are preparing for power outages and buying plenty of water and batteries and candles. First the earthquake, now this hurricane! What an eventful summer this has been!
We need the rain desperately in Texas. We can't water our lawns or anything, because it is so dry. Pray everyone stays safe in the hurricane's path, but please send the rain down south.
OH the eyes, the hair the open shirt, the clothes. Everything about Adam is outstanding and screaming superstar, how can anyone not see this and fall hard for him? On top of that he can sing and perform better then any one out there in the universe. How is that he is not recognized as the one and only superstar?....indigo
I agree about needing rain here in Texas, I am in Houston and have not had rain in a long time where I am, rained yesterday downtown but not in southwest of Houston.....indigo.
I think everyone in every state is concerned about something. I live in the Northwest and we have earthquakes, tornadoes and wildfires.
The Pacific Northwest is on pins and needles about the San Juan de Fuca plate which is way overdue and will cause a major major earthquake when it slips, Can you say 10 or higher on the Richter scale?
As long as Southern and Northern California continue with their 5 - 6 earthquakes which releases the pressures on their major faults maybe they can stave off a truly devastating quake.
With the Yellowstone caldera valley rising at about 3 feet a year and it's 2-3 thousand small quakes every year the chances of the mega volcano there causing a massive explosion continues to be a nasty threat to millions in the US and Canada. Scientists are saying when (not if) it blows, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Oregon, Wyoming, South Dakota, Northern California, Northern Nevada, Northern Utah, Northern Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa will be devastated if not totally destroyed as well as a major part of southern Canada. The other states south and east of Montana will be covered 1 to 3 feet in ash, depending on their location. The states closest to Yellowstone, Montana will be obliterated. Ouch
The New Madrid fault in Missouri is overdue to slip. The last time in the late 1800's it caused 8.2 and 8.3 earthquakes which in turn caused the Mississippi River to move 5 miles to the west. (It is pronounced Mad rid)
Then we have those lucky people who live along or near the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. In winters with large amounts of snow as we had in Southern Canada and the Upper US this past winter, they know that everything they own is going to be underwater when the snows melt.
The Gulf Coast and the East Coast hold their collective breath each year from late July through October with Hurricane season. Luckily they have the most warning and know where the Hurricane is going to strike land. Hopefully they are smart enough to be prepared.
Then we have Tornado Alley. I lived in So. Cal for all but he last 7 years of my life and got so used to Earthquakes that they didn't even slow me down. How terrifying it must be to hear a "freight train" coming and not know if it will completely destroy your town and kill your loved ones or leave your house standing in the rubble of your neighbors'.
Those of you in Texas should prepare for lots of rain next year. According to everything I've read, you are in for record amounts of rainfall.
All of us must remember that we are on a living planet. Scientists have drilled ice cores in Greenland and the South Pole. These show the worldwide weather going back 200 thousand years. We have been in and out of ice ages many, many times in the past and will go through them again. The earth has warmed many, many times in the past as well. Every state has had earthquakes, tornados, wild fires; some just not as deadly as others.
Wherever you are on our beautiful living planet, be aware, be prepared and be safe.
altho comments are educational why do they have to be on Adams site. We all have problems big problems that is why I have enjoyed following adam because he can make me for get my problems for a while or at least make them a little lighter. I have followed him since wicked I love to watch him I have been to concerts he is the only one I have followed because he is a breath of fresh air.
Anon 2:30. I have a lot of geologists in the family as well as a Geophysicist at Rice University who studies techtonic plates and tells us some of these things. I live in Northern California foothills and am told I may one day have beach front property. Won't be funny when that time comes. Scary times.
I found your comment very interesting and we were talking about weather. I've been reading up on hurricanes and find that many of the worst ones to hit east coast of USA begin in the Sahara desert????????? Weird! Scientists found sand from the Sahara on the beach in Miami after hurricane Andrew.
@2:30 I found it interesting that we all think we have it bad wherever WE live. Your post shows me that it can be frightening anywhere. Thanks for putting it in persperctive for me.
I loved your last sentence:
