I hope this pic won't be on BB's new album..( that haircut)I just LOVE the new artwork cover for "BTIKM"That pic is to die for.

Now, look at Adam's pic on the BTIKM cover and then look at this one. Sorry, but this pic may be artsy but it certainly is not becoming Adam. Could be because of Adam's shaved sides or the frontal take. Not doing anything for me.

I also hope this is not the cover for his album. Just don't like the shaved sides and baggyish pants.I love the cover of BTIKM and hope it will be something along those lines, please!

Did anyone find any concrete evidence that this is or might be his album cover. I don't care for the look especially with the gorgeous cover of his single. Glitzlady if you have any info let us know thanks!

Tony Duran made the pictures of Adam for Tresspassing just before EMA. Adam shaved sides few days before the photoshot. I'm afraid in new album we will see a lot of pictures of Adam with this haircut. Which is very strange for me. Adam deff was obsessed with shaved sides

Hate these shaved sides. Also, Adam looks overweight on this photo.

I might be in the minority with this (judging from the first two comments that don’t seem to like Adam’s look here/think it’s unflattering), but...

I really like it! I actually gasped when I saw it. (Like really. I was surprised to find that people didn’t like it because I actually did. I'm not just saying it, like some people might think…) It looks new and fresh but old school at the same time. I love the duality there. And it totally works thematically with Trespassing... He looks like an old school convict doing time, just kickin' it, waiting to get out, with that sharp hair cut that kinda looks like a crew cut you would get in the army or in jail (but with a high-hair, high-fashion twist)and of course, the stripes. But they aren't cartoony or tacky stripes, they're thin and chic. Plus, you've got the textured slacks that are simple and almost rough-looking but also look chic & sharp. It kind of gives off the vibe of a celebrity, yet plays off the idea that he is still a prisoner, both being trespassed upon (by the expression, you can see a kind of vulnerable defiance) and considered to be trespassing.

ALL this you can glean from just ONE photo. Now, you gotta know that’s good art. And it definitely seems like it's representative of what the album seems to be like. And a good representation at that.

Personally, I really like it. I would enjoy it if he used it as an album cover, because personally, I prefer good art over just “looking good.” Not that Adam doesn't look good here (To me, he looks great, in an edgy old-fashion meets new-fashion sort of way) nor that there's anything wrong with just looking good, but I mean, music is an art, so why not continue that with visual representation? I just love the overall aesthetic. And dang, it's really a great and super-powerful artistic piece.
Well, that's what I have to say since I am an artist myself. As much as I love pretty, gorgeous Adam, I also really love artistic Adam. And artistic Adam really doesn't look bad, to be honest. I still think he looks handsome, just in a way different from how we typically see him.

Well, I'm done. That's all my input. I sure talked a lot, haha. :D But I guess that's what good art does. ;)

Adam will choose a look for the album that fits what he intends to say with the music, just as he did the first time. He's not 55 yrs old - he is 29 and this look is young, hot, edgy, moody, fierce and reflective. I hope he puts out another photo book with the deluxe selection. Surely there will be something in there for everyone, from shaggy mop t shirt to other worldly fashion glitz.

This pic is horrible.I love and love keep the new cover.it's hot

The FYE album had a collection of great photos of Adam with different styles of hair and clothes. I'll bet TSing will do the same. I don't like the shaved look either, but there'll be other pics in there, too. Ephyne, I love your analysis of the picture, and I agree that the pic says a lot about what the album is trying to say. You could be right. Whatever the cover turns out to be, we'll know it's all Adam. He know he thinks deeply about these things and will have a good reason for whichever cover he chooses. Keep in mind that he wants to SELL the CD to a broad audience.

That haircut reminds me of Forest Gump on the sides, with Elvis ( maybe) on the top..so unflattering!!I wonder why he had it shaved like this( & did it again right before the EMA's( ug!)..I also wonder who,if anybody, talked him into it.I don't think this pic will be his album cover..I just love his look now for "BTIKM"..It's so sexy & suits BB so much.ALSO hope he'll make the video very soon for BTIKM,so we can vote for it on VH-1.

I've painted portraits for many years and would never have considered this look for one of my subjects. Unless they worked on the Starship Enterprise!

Adam has a big head and a full face, without hair and sideburns this is more noticed, makes him look heavier.

He already told us, months ago, different looks for different songs.

I think Lee Cherry should his official photographer. He knows how to capture real essence of Adam with his photography. I hope this won't be the album cover. Don't like it at all. Adam whoever did this photo shoot ask for your money back. He didn't do justice to showcase your through essence. Sorry, I know the album title is Trespassing. This shot definitely doesn't capture that concept.

I wonder if he was trying to look more masculine and like the other pop star men such as Robin Thicke and Bruno Mars. I personally love the Lee Cherry photo so much more but maybe this other look appeals more to men? I don't know. I just want the songs!

I FREAKIN LOOOOOVE THIS LOOK!! TOTALLY REMINICENT OF JAILHOUSE ROCK!!! EDDDDDGY! HOT! HOT! HOT! KILLIN ME WITH HIS EYES!!

WE NEED TO REMEMBER IT IS ALL ABOUT WHAT ADAM LIKES. NOT US! WE DON'T DECIDE WHAT HE WEARS AND HOW HE WEARS HIS HAIR! HE likes his hair this way! He is not a doll to dress and style to your liking! He is a MAN with a style of HIS OWN! Did your parents never teach you to be polite?? Your opinion does not count, especially when it gets rude and critical. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Anon 7:15, I posted the link to this pic and an article a couple of threads back. It's from Rockstar Weekly: Here it is in full: NOTE "will be used as the first main image to support his upcoming single Better Than I Know Myself"

Premiere Of Adam Lambert's New Press Photo With More Trespassing Details

RockStar Weekly acquired the new Adam Lambert press photo from Sony Music Canada today (Dec. 15) to find that the record company will be using a B&W Tony Duran photo, which was partially revealed in November on Adam's website. The bright black and white shot, which reveals a crouching Lambert, will be used as the first main image to support his upcoming single Better Than I Know Myself (being released Dec. 20) from his upcoming album Trespassing. Earlier versions of the photo where shown cropped to Adam's face - the new, full version can be seen below.

Duran is one of the most widely published photographers of celebrities and is known for photographing nude and semi-nude shoots. He also uses strange imagery and props in his work, although the fully clothed Lambert shot is bare bones in its tones and approach, leaving the signer looking somewhat vulnerable.

Sony also revealed more details about the Trespassing album, which it says will be released in various configurations and upgrades on March 20, 2012. The record label also says that fans who pre-order Trespassing on December 20 from Adam's website, www.AdamOfficial.com, will also receive an instant MP3 download of "Better Than I Know Myself."

Lambert describes Trespassing, which he executive produced as "an exciting journey through the past two years of my life. It's been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I've experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of
my reality."

In addition to co-writing many of the tracks, Lambert collaborated with an all star list of award winning artists, producers and songwriters including Pharrell Williams, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rogers, Sam Sparro, Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa and BC
Jean.

Since the release of Lambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment in 2009 it has sold over one million copies worldwide. Lambert was nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Whataya Want From Me” in 2010 and also released the Glam Nation
Live CD/DVD and Acoustic Live! EPs. He is first America Idol to ever tour the world in support of their debut album in the year following their Idol season. In November of this year, Adam took to the stage in the finale of the MTV European Music Awards to sing lead vocals with Queen, who were being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Their captivating performance is widely regarded to be the highlight of the entire EMA ceremony and an indication of the outstanding years ahead in the career of Adam Lambert.

Ephyne, I like the picture too, definitely has a fifties vibe to it.......that saying though, I do prefer the picture on the BTIKM cover.

@DRG: Yes, very good point about selling. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe it'll just be a promo photo (like daydreamin said) or inside the booklet. But whatever happens, I'm sure I'll be happy with it. :)

@HK: Oh I'm not saying the BTIKM cover was bad at all, I LOVEDDDDDDD it--totally flailed over it (How can you not love something that gorgeous?). I was just trying to give some imput. That the photos used are just two different vibes. And I happen to like them both very much. :D

Oh, and for those of you who wonder who I am and why I just randomly showed up--I always lurk around here, but I just stay in the backgound mostly... Maybe commented as anon sometimes. Now I finally have a name, haha. So hello! *wave*

The picture is stylistic and yes very interesting, thought-provoking. It sort of combines the old with the new. Also I think the photographer accentuated the attention-seeking portion with sensual folds of the soft pants Adam is wearing. The folds there give me an impression of femininity juxtaposed with Adam's masculinity. It's quite absorbing. This picture will appeal to the younger set whereas the first one will appeal to almost everybody. :)

I REALLY don't like this pic. It's a given hate hair here. I believe the FANS take some of the most amazing pictures. They fans capture Adam in a very sensual ,revealing way. Rock On Fans!

Adam made a mistake with the cover of FYE and he knows it because he changed it for Europe or was it for the UK or both? Anyway, the second cover he used was the reverse of the 1st cover, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER than the 1st cover imo - I love it! I have both as I'm sure many others do.

I don't like this photo at all - very unflattering.

The shaved hair isn't flattering, just takes away from his magnificent face. His beautiful, thick hair balances and is a great frame for his breathtaking face. Hope he never does this again. It also spoiled his GNT DVD with the shaved sides then. I bought 2 copies, one in Blue-ray, but he looked so much better in Suz and Talc earlier videos of the tour. The mustache and goatee was another that took away from his natural great looks. Sauli looks really good now that he's let his sides grow in more. JMO

I read this comment . . put a bolt on each side and it reminds me of "Frankenstein"

Maybe he was going for Elvis "Jailhouse Rock" look. Older fans know what I mean.
