This is a beautiful rendition of BTIKM. Hopefully he will later put out an acoustic CD with BTIKM on it. We will most likely hear tons of different variations on this song knowing Adam!

Wow! Adam, your parents money for voice lessons paid off in spades...WOW! So beautiful!

It's interesting how much more we hear the backup vocals now. Monte was more subdued when he sang backup. I really like the band Adam has put together. A very cohesive bunch.

Love this acoustic. It's brilliant. I'm gonna add it to my youtube playlist. WOW!!!!!

The genius of ADAM!

Like this MUCH better than the electronic version. This one I want to hear over and over. The electronic one feels "fixed up" to sell. This one feels shared from the heart and I am moved and grateful to Adam when I listen to it.

Yeah! That's what I really needed... «Diamond Master» singing like an angel, his sweet amazing voice warming up my cold morning!

Come to listen to him again, Icon!

I much prefer Adam's recorded, electronic version of BTIKM to this acoustic version but I still like it. :)

Wow ...I love this..

I'm not crazy about this version. It sounds too soft and subdued but to each their own.

Love Adam's voice but much prefer the more powerful electronic version.

I absolutely LOVE Better Than I Know Myself but not this version. Adam's voice sounds quite flat at times and the guitar Tommy's playing sounds rather jarring.

I don't like the chords played on the piano. There is so much dissonance on the first notes of each measure that it sounds flat and unpleasant.
I was a little disappointed with the performances, but I love the elctronic version of BTIKM and know the other songs will sound different on the album as well.

Maybe Adam sounds pitchy because he couldn't hear the music. I don't think this song works well as an acoustic version but I adore BTIKM and I'm going to listen to the studio version again right now!

I love Ellen's live performance of BTIKM out of the 3, thus far.

Adam is overseas to promote his wonderful BTIKM (and his new album) so I would’ve thought he’d want to showcase it in the best possible way but I don’t think acoustically was the way to go, but that’s just mho.

Hmmmm - I really don't like the keyboards - right at the beginning they sound middle-of-the-road annoying repetitious. And then Adam starts off ho-hum.
Much prefer the recorded version with strong beats and a more subdued keyboard.
I know Adam is experimenting so a small overseas audience is a good place rather than a packed LA nightclub. Wish I'd been there just to be so close and actually hear his voice so clearly though.(and see him up close!!)
Some songs can work in acoustic, others not so much. I think more fire from the band, and Adam for that matter, would have helped.
That said, I know his album will be HOT, HOT, HOT and I can't wait.

What are all these acoustic performances about anyway? I think he should perform his new single, as its going to be released.
Studio version is much better.

I like all the versions.....

acoustic performances are about the voice, not necessarily the band or electronica. I swear I've never seen a fanbase that so pics apart every single event, it's annoying. I am happy to get any snippet of any singing from AL.

I like all versions too, but im all for new versions - this acoustic seems to capture the softer, mosre sinister/edgy connotations of the song to me.

OT: new Trespassing clip from audience, with the beginning and no audio issues: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmoBhxL2j0U&feature=youtu.be

I agree with the first 10:21 totally!!!....I love everything Adam does...I am going to stop reading these comments and just take everything about him at face value...he is a genius!!! Why pick it all apart...it's like taking a magnifying glass to the Mona Lisa!

I absolutley adore this version of BTIKM. It personifys everything I love about Adams voice. When it is just the voice that is featuted its wonderful.
I am glad the song has also been showcased in 3 different versions already. Great stuff.

Nice to see Idol give Adam somem props. Wonder if he'll perform on Idol this year? Part of me says YES and part of me says NO. I'd like to think he's past all that, but then again, Idol has a huge audience that could hear his new music.

I love both versions of BTIKM! The electronic version is the NOW Adam and the beautiful piano is all about old school to me - Just Adam sitting on the old piano singing his heart out! Something for everyone. That's what makes Adam the greatest entertainer that ever lived! I just want to hear more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more I listen to this song, the more I grow with it and expand my consciousness with it. I like the way this version showcases Adam's voice so effectiveness. I hope the actual album will do the same.

I LOVE this version! Amazing as always, Adam efforlessly gives us another version of a single song which lends itself very well to ballad treatment.

Sorry 7:51 & 9:15, I TOTALLY disagreee. I LIKE the keyboards MUCH better than the hurdy-gurdy oragan sound of the recording. During those 'repetitious' opening notes I was seeing dappled sunlight on rippling rings in a pond, or some kind of ripling-droplets in water... and Adam's voice was so clear ... beautiful, dreamlike. I LOVED how soft it was and the blend of the harmony. I'm liking this new keyboardist and his voice a lot.
To top it off Adam looks beautiful and very relaxed in the video of this perfomance.

Loving all this new audio, video, news & performance clips that many of us wrote so often that we couldn't wait for leading up to this release!! Woohooo, bring on the blitz!! Worth the wait, Adam does not disapoint =) Looking forward to lots more !!

...dappled sunlight on rippling rings in a pond...very beautiful but not so for you, when comparing it with Adam's top form voice; understandable. Also reminded me of 'On Golden Pond' Henry Fonda, Kathrine Hepburn. :)
