I thought I read this before but it's nice to read again.

Pretty good review. I knew there would be comparisons with WWFM. But, a nice review which is always great to read.

I am hearing that a lot, that you need to hear the song several times, before you appreciate it.
Hope Adam isn't being obnoxious while he is waiting to hear how it is doing. I think he put his heart and soul into it. Sauli must be very patient, and keep Adam busy, jogging is good thing. When the radio interviews start, Adam will be quite busy. This isn't a good time for Adam to be alone, he definitely needs Sauli to lean on, and talk to.

OT: PP just released another article about him, with March 12 being the release date for BTIKM in the UK. this is aimed at UK Glamberts btw, so sorry if this is old irrelevant news for everyone else. :S

Good review! Love the song and think it is addicting. Would not expect less from Adam, the greatest voice of our time.

9:33, yeah, but do you think people that aren't as invested in Adam Lambert are going to listen to the song over and over, just so it can "grow" on them. I'm talking about the casual radio audience, not head over heels glamberts.

I did not need the song o grow on me. Loved it from the get go as many people will when they hear it on the radio. Of course hoping they will play BTIKM so many times during the day that if some don't love it the first time it will grow on them. This happens to me listening to top 40 stations that play the same 10 songs over and over. The only difference is I can never get tired of hearing Adam's voice.

Adam has so many great people in his corner that was there for him long before his fame. They are the ones that truly know him. The outsiders coming in after the fame have to be carefully watched. He needs to stay true to who he was before the fame. don't ingest all the phoney-baloney.

9:33 I listened to it a few times and got hooked, not over and over. If he gets good radio play like some everyone will def hear it over and over anyways. lol

I would consider this song soft pop/rock. I think that is why WDWFM was such a hit with all ages. This has the same tone and it tells a story too. I am an Adell fan as well and her songs did not immediatly come to my liking either. As I listen to the words and it had some personal meaning to me it grew on me. It tells a story we can relate to in this imperfect world we live in! A hit that has long lasting meaning will get played for years to come. I think that is what this song will do..slow burn/ long lasting affect! BS I think alot of people underestamate the power of Adam Lambert and his true affect on people/once he is in he is in for good!

10:26 he has met many not so true before his fame too, just check out the Beg For Money law suit.Et tu, Brute?

This thread has some loonies. Why would Adam get obnoxious? He's been nervous a lot in his life has he spent a great deal of his time obnoxious?

Loonie #2 Are you implying that only the loonies waiting in the wings at Idol #8 for Adam and chased him across land and sea to see the same stage play again and again are true fans. You knew him from the beginning. 8th grade? We certainly don't want him to have any new fans we can't trust them. When did he start becoming a fame whore and falling for the phoney baloney. As his BFF surely you aren't believing that?

You know there is a wide gap between a fan and fanatic?

I didn't buy Beg for Mercy and like a friend asking me not to, I didn't.

But I don't think Adam needs help.
I think under his make up he's tough as nails when he wants to be.

He's not a kid, he's a man.

Adam obnoxious? Thats nuts. He is a strong man. He'll be fine whether in a relationship or not.

Its cool how we all know we know Adam !!

Nice! Couldn't have said it better myself.

It still hasn't grown on me. I know what I like. I knew immediately on FYE which songs I liked from the first listening. I still like the original ones and skip over some of the others. I bought the song to give him support. I doubt I will listen to it much. I'm hoping the rest of the album offers more.

Don/t feel bad, I love his voice I don't love his songs always. Only like 6 on his first album, I'll be content if I only like 6 of these new ones. I've bought the deluxe and don't even know what it consists of. Probably more shaved head photos. I'd pay $18 for one song!

when I buy an album there is usually two or three songs I really like but I hit pay dirt with FYE. I think it may happen again with Trespassing as I have only heard two songs and like them alot. I like that one song Get Over It also but I don't even know if that's being considered. Hope so.

I really like all the songs on FYE, which doesn't happen often on an album. And I love BTIKM, sounds great up loud in my car. I can't believe Adam doesn't have any writing credit on it as the lyrics seem so personal to him, and seem to fit his life like a glove..

Exited about the upcoming tidal wave of Adam Lambert. Feels like a long time. Thing worth waiting for usually seem to take a long time. Loving the media coverage.

When a song gets lots of radio play, the casual listener DOES begin to remember certain songs. That's what heavy radio play is all about. You learn a song without even realizing it. I know many songs by heart that I don't even like. I think BTIKM will resonate with lots of non-fans or casual fans because it has a great hook and articulate lyrics, accompanied by a great voice. Nobody has to know it's Adam at first. But once they keep hearing the songs, they'll know.

I loved it from the beginning, don't worry! Trespassing will have other hits on it!

I used the word "obnoxious" because Adam wrote it into the song himself. It was his word.

12:42, don't feel bad. I'm not crazy about BTIKM either, but I'm loving what little I've heard of "Get Over It", but like someone said, it might not be on the album. But I'm sure there will be songs on it I like. I love Adam, but I hated the single "fye". Couldn't understand why that was chosen as the first single. But I loved "whataya want from me" immediately. So, I'm hoping.

3:22 I thought you were using the word obnoxious tongue in cheek and the rest of your post I could feel your concern for Adam. Things just get messed up sometimes.

I think BTIKM can relate to everyone who is an Adam Lambert fan. It touches on the subject of not wanting to do without another person. I think it can relate romantically or it can be also about strong friendships. It has grown on me!

This Adam photo of intense look and a special soft-pants pose, is arresting and lures me to stare and study the details. This I think is a sure indication of a stimulating picture. It has a little of the West Side Story feel or Grease. I like this photo of Adam quite a lot. The shaven sides have to be there to match the overall vibe and swagger so in that sense, it fits. :)

Don't really like this song. Wonder why they picked it as his first release? I think we needed something with a little more punch or a nicer melody.
