One of the best things about Adam is the way he always encorage others to be themselfs, to live a life, to do what they really want to do,to be brave and to have corage to face life as you want it to be, even sometimes could be scary, but always telling to look ahead! to look to a better future! To be true to yourself. I love than man...I really do.

Thanks glitzylady for the post on the GN show video of Adam singing NCOE. That made my day for me. He looks spectacular in that very stylish jacket and pants with the matching shoes. And the backup singers, the band all seemed to be enjoying themselves up there as Adam was performing. Great job by all. It seems that most of us have to conform or follow a certain schedule or routine in our daily lives in order to exist in society. But we can also be true to ourselves to some degree at different times whether it is in the way we dress, the thoughts we have or in our actions. If possible, make changes, take chances, work on that bucket list, and try to be as true to yourself and your convictions whenever you are able. The video of NCOE certainly is open to many interpretations and it does get you to think...when you consider so many of the vids today that are sheer garbage and say absolutely nothing as does the song being performed.

And if you do not have carpal tunnel yet... more voting!

O Music Awards confirmed for me "When you vote for another superfans picks once, you cast a full vote for each nominee listed."
So if you haven't already, please make a fan profile with the 3 Adam nominations and we can maximize our votes. (You do need to edit your nominee message in order to show up so other fans can vote.) I doubt we can catch up with the Tokio Hotel Fan Army but you never know.

You are correct. Q102 is just for fun. The billboard poll is very important. Why play games when we have a very serious job to do. Vote! Vote! Vote! on the billboard poll!

Breaking free from the masses and doing what you want to do sounds great in theory. But Adam, most of us are the masses with mortgages, kids, responsibilities as heavy as lead collars. We can't throw them off and pursue what we want to do. If I could I'd be living in an apartment in Paris and setting up an easel on the cobblestone streets and painting all day and sitting in quaint cafe's all evening.

It ain't gonna happen, it's fantasy. Most lives include big trunks of responsibilities. So we will just enjoy the idea of running away to be free on film. But it's a bit disturbing when you talk as if it were a possiblity for all of us to escape reality and just forget the chaos we would leave behind.

One doesn't have to go live in an apartment in Paris to "break free of the masses." There are also small but significant ways of breaking free. Personally that concept means to me that perhaps you take a day for yourself..to do something YOU want to do..Or go to an Adam Lambert concert, when your non-Adam friends don't see why you could POSSIBLY want go to more than one GNT concert since "You've already been to ONE..!"(sound familiar??)..or just think "outside the box": Envision something that perhaps you hadn't thought to do before. It doesn't have to be "big" or extravagant or irresponsible.

We don't have to even leave the house to "break free". Read a book that you hadn't thought to read before..Study a new religion or philosophy to have a better understanding of it. Open your mind to something new. Sign up for a class. Go back to college. Sign up for an excise class, or a dance class. Have some FUN. Support a "cause". Speak up for something you believe in. Expanding our minds is as important as expanding our physical boundaries.

Adam broke free of his pre-Idol life by envisioning the possibilities, which included heading to Broadway or auditioning for Idol. (Glad he chose to audition for Idol...) Most of us can't do that..but maybe one or two out there can. There are ways to break free even if we have families, mortgages, and jobs. ***I have all of those BTW.***

Adam is an inspiration to me..and an example of believing in himself and his connection to the Universe. He's inspired me to expand my horizons, do some new things (for me..). I've done some traveling with new friends who I've met as a result of being an Adam Lambert fan: with a bunch of newly acquired girlfriends, went to LA and had a blast.....and we continue to be good friends. There are SO many people I would not have met had it not been for him, and some VERY interesting experiences too! . That's all a part of breaking free, looking at the possibilities, and sometimes going a little out of our "comfort zone". If we as human beings hadn't broken free, either individually or as a civilization, once in awhile throughout our history, we might still be back in the Dark Ages, or even further back..The US might still have slaves, and women everywhere might still be property of their husbands (I realize that hasn't changed in some places..but thankfully I'm an equal partner in my marriage: neither of us "owns" the other.). So we can break free BIG or break free SMALL..Its all in how you interpret it... Its up to each of us. Pick your own "free" and go with it. : )) That's how I interpret what Adam is talking about...

If they don't watch out women are headed into being the property of policial parties or religious denominations. Their rights are being whittled away in many states. Their most intimate personal decisions are being legislated. My womb is nobodies business but mine.

What happened to the Women's Lib Movement, has it been swallowed up at a Tea Party in the church basement?

We had better NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES.
My state is one clamping down on women, I write letters, I donate to the candidates trying to fight this oppression, what do I do next, start moving state to state?
