questions I would love to ask of Adam:
1. How do you keep your smile so beautiful and white..what kind of toothpaste do you use?
2. Would you consider launching your own colonge (people would go ape s*** for that)??
3. How about starting your own clothing line, including foot wear?
4. What is your favorite meal?
5. What is your favorite genre of movies?
6. Do you have a housekeeper, and if not, who does most of the housework/cooking?
7. Do you think you will buy a home in the near future?
8. Would you consider playing a straight (HOT) man in a movie?? (I mean it is all fantasy afterall!)
9. What type of character have you imagined playing in a film?
10. Would you like to be a talk show host? (he is a natural)

It's an interesting journey being identified as 'the openly gay pop guy' because I feel like it's a privilege to be an example of somebody that's not making any apologies for it and to try and give young people the feeling of pride and the idea that they can reach their dreams if they want them," he said. "But the flipside to it is that it does get a bit objectified, mainly by the media. I think this milestone of reaching No. 1 and being the first hopefully it makes the statement: That it really doesn't matter. That we just need to move on."

What is this about? Isn't little bit late to make this kind of statement?

I came by today to an old Gather article by Liz Goodwin (as I Googled news today about Adam) about Adam and his rendition of ROF way back in March 2009.
OMG! How wrong she was and almost all of her commentors saying Adam is creepy. I have always wondered where that came from. Now, i know it is this Liz Goodwin even saying, "ADAM has the face only a mother can love!" How she was hating on Adam. She was so destructive to Adam from the start. She backed off a bit as the Idol journey went up to Whole Lotta Love.
I wonder what she things now that ADAM is listed in the SEXIEST male in music by Billboard.

It was great for Adam to reach #1 on the Billboard listings last week, but I think we should put the "first openly gay artist" label to rest already. We know who and what Adam is, he has talked about it so much that we all need to move on and focus onthe music from the album. Will he always be identified with that label for the rest of his career? I know he does talk about when the topic is brought up in these interviews, but I just wish they would focus more on the songs, esp. NCOE which now needs radio play here in the states. I think Adam will be taking a little break before he goes to England to rehearse with Queen for those concerts and will probably begin the promos internationally with the release of his cd in Europe and the Far East. For me, it has always been about his spectacular voice, his charming personality and his amazing stage presence. I really don't care or need to know about his sexual orientation to the point where it begins to overshadow the music. I just want to hear him sing.

Anon 4:41 -- So agree with you. But in one of the interviews Adam gave in Montreal, he also agreed with us but then added that to get rid of homophobia, you have to tackle it upfront (paraphrasing here but that's the essence of what he said).

I think that will gradually go away..Its not the fans who are perpetuating it, and neither is Adam...When the media stops labeling him "gay", he will hopefully be known as the SINGER Adam Lambert. Or WORLDWIDE SUPERSTAR SINGER Adam Lambert ... I am however proud of Adam for having the honor of being the first "openly gay singer to have a #1 Billboard album"...BUT... I also agree, I'll be happy when Adam is just known as "Adam, the amazing singer". I don't label my friends as gay or straight or bi, nor by race, or ethnicity, so I will be thrilled when society stops that as well. How about "fabulous singer and fellow human being Adam Lambert"....

"I just want to hear him sing.." Indeed. Don't we all.....

Two labels that desperately need to be dropped off when it comes to Adam: 'openly gay' and 'AI runner up'. Geez, it's been 3 years now, 2 full successful albums and we still read 'runner up'. We never see any media referring to C. UnderW as AI winner. Why is that?
