She comes in to do her shift and she is presented with a list of music that she will play and when she will play it. She has very little to no lee-way to play things that are not included on the list. She even mentions at about 45 minutes in that calling in a request that is not on the pre-approved list does no good.”

I read somewhere yesterday that we would have a live stream from the Costa Mesa concert. Now I can't find where I saw that. Has anyone know about it?

I never heard that Adam is going to perform on Orange County Fair tomorrow! I deff want to move in CA. Did anybody mention it before?

I still hear WWFM played on a local NYC radio station, but not NCOE. And Adam even did a mini promo concert at that same station a few months back to promote Trespassing. The djs had such nice things to say about him the following day and yet nothing. I just don't get it and probably never will understand the logistics of radio play and the business aspect of music. If it is frustrating for us as Adam's fanbase, I could just imagine how he must feel. You work so hard on something(the album), receive praise and positive reviews for it and yet nothing seems to be happening with it. All you hear on the radio is the same garbage over and over by inarticulate, untalented, auto-tuned performers who have those tweens and teens mesmerized by their antics. At least Adam has an international fanbase that really seems to understand and appreciate him and we are going to lose him here because we don't. I love Trespassing, listen to it as often as I can esp. in the car and those upbeat, funky songs just make me feel good and want to dance around and" shake my ass" as Adam would say.

On a previous thread someone stated that Mitt Romney owned Clear Channel. That is incorrect.
His former company Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel. Mitt is a "retired partner" of Bain, pulling in mega millions. Clear owns 850 radio stations and also own Premium RadioNetworks....conservative programming all the way. Perhaps you've heard of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and (shudder) Glenn Beck? Many others.

I hate to say it but it's a stone wall you are beating your head against with requesting Adam's music be played. A conservative wall. Clear owns more radio stations than any company in the USA.

If I knew how to be a rabble rouser I would inform Clear Channel offices that a sweeping boycott of all their radio sponsers would begin and last till their stranglehold agenda was changed. Sadly, I'm not the revolution leader type. They would squash me like a bug. :(

@7:32 it has been mentioned many times since it was first announced a couple months ago. Several peeps from this blog will be going so should get a variety of reviews. Meeting up with @PRS and hope to see @glitzlady again and meet @magiclady for the first time. I only saw it advertised in the LA Times twice and only recently. Ticketmaster only started advertising this concert a few weeks ago. Before that the only place you could find out about it was at the Orange County fairgrounds website and on Adam blogs. I have seen zero ads for the Fantasy Springs show. Dont understand this? . . . Adamluv

I have been thinking for some time that the radio owners have chosen to boycott Adam. He is gay and they will not endorse him. It is so bloody unfair. It may be that he will be forced to live in Europe, if he wants to reach the stardom that he so richly deserves.

Music Industry Revolution 101

First--Find out if your local station or stations are owned by Clear Channel.

Second--If so, write a polite letter asking if your favorite artists music is played on their stations and if not, why? You might nicely state that the current crop of artists played incessantly is getting a bit stale.

It is disheartening to me for him to have all the accolades overseas and come back here to no radio play.

Yea I've always loved this Adam-Tommy combination; they have this unstated natural aura about them. Adam's vocals shine and Tommy's quiet, confident demeanour is refreshing. In any case they are homogenous in appearance and style. Like Adam, Tommy too is handsome. He reads Adam's singing and gels well with it in his guitar-play. Love this clean, clear-cut performance; no Msg. :)

Hey you guys have a wonderful time at the concert. I'll be thinking of you all. Adam is going to be a busy guy this month. I haven't heard anything more about the Idol job, has anyone else? I think it was a rumour.

PLEASE post some positive comments on the BILLBOARD poll about who would make A GOOD judge..I had a problem there tonight,& had to join Billboard( I didn't have to before,& I don't have twitter or facebook) It looks like I posted 3 times in a row,but I just wasn't seeing my posts @ first.Let's try to get BB's percentage up some more also.When I was voting again tonight,it had hardly gone up any. in hrs..just a fraction.Thanks.

If anybody can suggest a radio station where I can request NCOE here in NC, near Morehead City,I'll try.Most of them are Country stations or talk ones.Will it help if I request on an on-line station?( not around here) I have before,but don't know if it helped or not.I have only heard WWFM on one station,& no other Adam songs.

I like the word...blackballed. How dare they blackballed Adam. Don't they know he's holding the 2012 world crystal ball in his hands...lol! Wow, despite all the blackballing, Trespassing still made it to #1. Maybe the international sales indirectly helped it achieve this. There's no way to control a wild forest fire, it has to run its course. :)

If I were Adam I'd go back to the UK where people love and appreciate him for being such an amazing artist and talent. It's so sad seeing him come back home and being treated with such a lack of regognition and respect given his brilliant performances with Queen,
artist's like Adam are so few and far between, but the UK seem to have a genuine appreciation for Adam's talent which the US seems to sadly lack. I'm sure he would have far better career prospects if he concentrated on the UK and European markets and hope he will consider this as an option rather than being forced to perform at these smaller venues time after time with people constantly asking the same boring questions over and over again,which I consider to be humiliating to a brilliant professional like Adam who clearly has so much more to offer and deserves so much better.

Thanks daydreamin for posting info on PLL. I was just about to do it. I never heard of that show, but if its on ABC that's an improvement from these other unknown stations. Now I'm going to go research this show. I also think we should all write into that clear channel station. Glamberts are known for getting things done and its just so wrong they are blackballing adam. Maybe they are not even aware that he has such a big fan-base and we are pissed? I also became a member of suirus hits 1 yesterday just to be able to request adam and I had to take alot of surveys on the music they play first. Boy, was I happy to do that. Mostly everything I said was "I hate it" and "played too much," but that's how I feel. All this rapping, autotuned, blah blah noice. One step at a time I guess. I wonder if that clear channel has an e-mail address, might be easier to do.

When I was reading about Adam being on PLL, I was eating lunch and almost spilled salad dressing all over my computer! I thought I would choke with excitement!!!!!!! Finally, Adam will be seen on a popular TV show and people will see how he can act and this will be the beginning for Adam on TV shows. WOW, Adam making guest appearances on network shows - acting, singing! Next, the movies!! There is hope gang! HURRAY FOR ADAM!!!!!!!!

Though I've never seen Adam in concert, never had a chance to wear glitter or glam, I finally feel I belong. The mail brought me a gift my grandson sent me from Williamsburg, VA. "GLAMSHOES" !

They are a pair of dressy loafers with wooden stack heel...suede leopard print! I had "somewhat forced" my grandson to watch one of Adam's performances where he was wearing his leopard boots so when he saw these he bought them.

I've been "petting" them all day and slipping them on as if they were Cinderella's slipper!

A great improvement over the souveniers he usually brings me from his travels...refrigerator magnets or coffee mugs!

I look cool! Can't wait to wear them! :)

When I saw ADAM wearing these leopard prints, I just thought we're alike since I like wearing black most of the time myself and just accessorize. But mostly with a leopard print to go.
