This is great. Adam is the most caring person. Glad this was on the Today show so people can see what a wonderful person Adam is!

Darn! I watch the Today show every morning....but this morning I woke up to rain and thunder so just snuggled in and watched Adam's Kiev concert! I probably would have choked on my cup of tea if I'd heard Natalie Morales mention Adam's name....so I guess I was saved.....JAK

Darn I mIssed it too! What a sweetie Adam is. I just wish so many good things for Adam, he just so far above most of the male, celeb's in music business today, both in talent and humanity, there are couple kind ones but not many that do it out of kindness no other reason. The girl was just as cute as can be, got such a thrill out of Adam talking to he. My family problems taken lot my time last few days, have not been around as much. Could someone fill me in on what prank was done to this poor girl, why are people so mean! Well whatever it was looks like she got last laugh, lots of positive attention and got to talk with wonderful Adam! Good for her. Sue

This girl has a lot of class and a lot of courage. So much in common with Adam! I loved her reaction to Adam's phone call. She didn't know it was him at first, but then was so thrilled! Loved how she said what pretty eyes he has. He's so used to that compliment and just says Thank You. Glad that Ryan actually played a snippet of Trespassing. Hope he'll play the whole thing LOTS when it's finally officially released.

This was a win win for everyone. Not only did it bring attention to bullying, but also brought attention to our Adam for the wonderful person he is. I'm so happy for that brave girl. She deserved the attention she got from the media and everyone else. Bravo to Adam for being his beautiful, humble self. Ryan is now in my good graces as well. Now play Adam's song please! While I'm at it, hurray for the Today Show for showing Adam in his bright light! Shine Adam - Shine!

We hope EVERYONE has tweeted at least (if not more):

today, asking them to have Adam on their show!

This girl is so honest and so cool. Just like our Adam. Glad she mentioned his gorgeous eyes. The love grows ans as more people learn to stand up to these stupid bullies, the less power they will have. I hope these kids that did this to this wonderful young woman, are feeling like fools. I hope their parents made them apologize.

I was surprised that Ryan played Trespassing when he does not spin ADAM's singles.
But Bruno Mar's new release is already in his playlist.
Bruno is scheduled to be on SNL with his new single.
Also on DWTS last Tue, I don't understand why they were playing P2's "Home" while the credits were scrolling.
I'm happy for P2 but just can't understand the success of Home, now platinum, and still sitting there on the charts.
Hoping Trespassing as 3rd single is the charm.

The saddest part about all this is that the bullies will never feel any shame nor embarrassment and worse yet, their parents will try and justify and minimize their childs actions. Seen it time and time again, just ask any teacher. Ask Romney about the time in high school when he and his buddies held down a gay student and cut off his long hair- he doesnt "recall" the incidence but his victim sure does. This will be the story of these kids 20 years in the future. . . . Adamluv

This was wonderful support for Whitney. I bet she could never have imagined all this positive attention after such a nasty prank. Good for Whitney for standing up for herself...real courage. I'm so glad it's getting the positive feedback that it is especially from Adam ! Her reaction to realizing it was actually Adam was priceless and so spontaneous..especially when she complimented him on his "pretty blue eyes". He was a sweetheart as we all know he is...so caring and kind. He is truly an inspiration for so many people.

I was thrilled to hear the snippet of Trespassing on Ryan's show...OMG it sounded awesome on the radio!

About Jay Leno I don't think we should tweet the show. It isn't time for Adam to start singing on T.V. It is not officially released till the 8th and needs time to build a bit on radio. Pestering a show could have the opposite effect. Like Adam says it all comes from love and a good place in the heart, but right now concentrate on requesting on your local radio stations.

@ The Dark Side....JAK here

I feel terrible but I can't help you. I put the link in my favorites column when I ordered the dvd and it got wiped out the last time DELL-A had to be cleared of viruses. ALL my favorites as well. When the dvd came I held the enclosed info until the charge had cleared on my credit card then threw it away! The dvd case has no information on it that leads to the order link.

Just- Kiev,Ukraine June 30th 2012
Maidan Nezalejnosti (Independence Square)--Anti AIDS Concert EURO-2012. I googled that but there is no info that will help or link...I was a little nervous about whether the quality would be good (it is).

I know several people ordered , before( chicken that I am) I got the nerve to do the same.
Maybe one of them saved link info or saved packing sheet. I suggest you send out an S-O-S at the beginning of next newest thread that pops up. Surely someone has the info or knows how to retrieve info from the computer.
Everyone here is smarter than I am.
So sorry_:(

P.S. I'd like the link too, they had several dvds available that I would like to have!

@2:01 WAIT?

It takes weeks or longer to get celebrity appearances lined up on these shows.

Radio release is officially this coming Monday (Oct. 8)!!!
This push should have started some time ago!

Are you thinking we should wait until there is a video?
Tweet and maybe he'll be on some schedules by then!
Or, an appearance soon could give incentive for investment in the video.

Anyway, at this point, Adam has lots to talk about!
Performing live before 250,000 people!
Performing on TV before 500 Million people!

If someone has a good, effective promotional plan, please bring it fourth!
Anyone with actual experience in the field would be very welcome.
We would all love good suggestions.

@ Adamluv---OT---warning-political

Since we seem to share a similar political bent I wondered if you were aware of this from newspaper.

Mother Jones magazine on Thursday posted a new video of Romney speaking to his former Bain Capital board.
Bain Capital's mission was to
"invest in start-up companies and ongoing companies, then to take an active hand in managing them and, hopefully, five to eight years later, to harvest them at a significant profit." Close them down.

Chilling huh? What about the people who lost their jobs in the process? Now he wants to convince us he's really concerned about the out of work people in this country.
I want to keep his words in my mind as I watch the debates.

Mitt Romney friend of the common man. Ha!

@2:53

Right. Because radio has such an excellent track record this year in promoting Adam's music.

Most Americans do not follow Adam around the world like we do.
People in stores say to me, "What ever happened to him? I liked him."

People need to reconnect with him!
Finding out what he's been doing this year would be fascinating.

Of course, request on radio. But don't neglect the medium through which we all first discovered him!

All you people requesting that Adam be on TV more are absolutely right. Look at the other Adam L. (one from the voiice). Before that show started 18 months ago, that Adam L. only had like 450,000 twitter followers. Now, he has over 3 million and his songs and voice are not better. It's purely the weekly TV visibility that pushed his songs up the charts and increased his fanbase. Regular TV visibility = increases on all fronts for an artist.

On Monday, Oct 1, the law went into effect for anyone who sells real estate, 3.4% of the proceeds of that sale goes to the Federal Government. This is in addition to long term capital gains taxes. This was "hidden" along with many other goodies like it in the Obama Healthcare Bill. You two and others on this site have NO IDEA what is waiting down the line for you. I have read the bill, and believe me our future is in jeopardy if it is not repealed.

I feel sorry for you who don't listen to both sides of the story or don't take time to do your own due diligence.

If Obama is reelected, God help this country. It will change into something none of us will recognize as America.

Nobama - LET'S CLEAR THIS UP A BIT

There is a teensy grain of truth to your statement that will probably not affect any of us, unless we live in a mansion.

Let's use a for instance---------

If a mid priced home-$300,000- is purchased by a single filing taxpayer(with an adjusted capital gains of greater than $200,000-lucky him) he will be exempt from this percentage until he is able to sell the house for at least $550,000! Now at a 2% average appreciation rate a year this would not occur until sometime in the 2040's.

This rule will only affect sellers who make a net profit on the sale greater than $250,000.

This surtax misunderstanding is a result of mean spirited political gossip, mostly in the form of mass e-mails.

About as clear as mud, nevertheless true.

To the 1 republican fan on this site that keeps agreeing with herself and uses no tag - this is the America you support. 1) house republicans repeal the Violence Against Women Act for the first time ever since this year it includes protection of lesbians. 2) house republicans have a discussion of reproductive issues that have zero women on the panel - only 5 men. 3) in response to this travesty a female law student testifying about contraception being included in a healthcare package is called a slut and whore by a republican mouthpiece. He goes on to say that if she and her femnazis friends want contraception, then they should film themselves having sex and post it for all to see. 4) when asked about these comments made against a private citizen, Mitt the Twit says, well "those werent the words I would have used ". (Guess he would have called her a harlot or scarlett woman?) 5) the republican running for office in Missouri says that women cant get pregnant if it's a "legitimate rape". 6) Of course the Twit and his tea bagger running mate both say they disagree with that statement but fail to mention that the tea bagger is the co sponser in the house of a bill changing the definition of rape to "forcible rape". I see no difference. 7) the Twit wants to immediately defund Planned Parenthood, the only place where many poor women receive any medical treatment at all. 8) re-instate Dont Ask Dont Tell 9) republican platform has a marriage statement only between a man and a woman. 10-100 - so many more vile things that could be listed in the America YOU want. And to come to an Adam Lambert site and support a person and a party that find Adam and his sexual orientation to be a choice, disgusting, against god, yada yada yada is uncomprehensible. Obama was being POLITE to Romney, who did nothing with his "win" last night but invite uber inspection and magnifying glass attention to his NEW revelations, so I'm glad Romney did what he did last night... and now I will be equally glad when reporters (on all channels) start to expose the HUGE problems in just about 80% of what he purported last night, for the first time, like ever, 5 weeks before election, to be his fix-it plan. Last night was the ULTIMATE in telling the people what they wanted to hear, 5 weeks before the election. In a way I say, Good for you Romney, smart!!, because most people won't look further into it. But I'm crossing my fingers they do.

Anonymous said...

@5:20

Wow, are you right there at the keyboard, at the ready, to post and post to support your position? Dedication, I like it. I only came back here to say that I used the expression "all channels", when I should have added and publications, whether they be online or hard copy. I myself read more than I "watch", less spin-doctoring that way I find, ;). I am very open to both sides, and I find it quite arrogant that you addressed a few here, without knowing them personally and other than on this light-hearted entertainment based blog/site, as individuals who do not listen to both sides. I big assumption, despite what might be evident by their postings here, even in the glare of their own postings, it is still plausible they they listen to both sides, and then formulate their opnions and deductions, conclusions, positions... despite the fact that their positions are contrary to yours. I will play that assumption game with you and say that, after having read your several postings here, I would venture to guess that YOU are not open to both sides. I agree with some of what you have said about lack of transparency and some elements of Obama's plans that don't have the light of day shone on them... but, OMG, Romney's offerings are the HEIGHT of non-specific, quite frankly disingenuous, and riddled with hidden agenda items that, in actual execution and practice if he is elected, would NOT be good for a majority of this nation. However, I remain open to reading about all that is on the table (problem is, at the risk of being redundant, I don't really REALLY know what is on the table at all with Romney...what he said last night will take some time to masticate, given its NEW-ness, 5 weeks before the election). I have to go now, have a good day.

Forget about last night, what has Obama done in 4 years. He has tripled the deficet, unemployment up, gas prices up, health insurance up, food up, taxes up. He never talks about trying to do anything about these problems. All he can say is I inherited them problems from Bush. You said when you ran for president you would get these things done in 6 months. If you are re-elected are you still going to blame these problems on Bush. The stimulus didn't work because it was given to friends and some of the companies are bankrupt. Alot of jobs they created huh? So why not give it to the rich so they can create jobs. Is that such a bad thing? Obama wants to be a rock star. His foreign policy sucks. So he inherited 2 wars. What is he doing with Syria, Pakistan, Isreal, Iran etc? Ambassaders getting killed and That's just a bump in the road. Come on we can do better than that. He didn't sit in Jeremy Wright's church for 20 years and listen to all the racist and hate just to be doing something. He was a member. Has Michele ever released her college thesis? Tell us what it is about, the people have a right to know.

To the NObama rock god worshippers here, I only posted 1x, so there are other Republicans here:

"After four years of NObamanomics, we now have 10 million more Americans living in poverty.

And do you know that the supposedly Christian NObama doesn't know the Lord's Prayer?????????"

Anonymous said...

You know don't you that being a Christian is not a requirement for the presidency? I do believe that Obama is, but if he weren't I still would have voted for him. BTW I have sat in many white churches and heard white ministers spout racial hatred. How many more countries would we have been at war with if McCain had been elected. I shudder to think, Iran for sure and he seems determined that we should stay in Afghanistan indefinitely! So since it was a republican who put us in Iraq and Afghanistan and the current republican candidate considers Russia our enemy and proposes we get tougher with China and thought we should have stuck our nose and troops in Libya and Egypt, frankly I'm afraid to have another rep. president while the middle east is on fire! Romney is definitely not diplomatic! He's proven that!

He was great last night on TV, his handlers gave him a script to deliver and he ran with it. But since I have listened to many of his speeches I have learned that he leans where the wind blows. In the North he's the sleeves rolled up, I'm a businessman who can get things done and bosom buddy of factory workers. In the South he's the easy going good old boy who just happens to love grits and God.
In the midwest he's wearing his jeans and leaning on a haybale being folksy and telling them what they want to hear. In the West, he's the friend of Hispanics, "why my father was born in Mexico!" "my immigration solution is to let you self deport yourselves."??????

Last night he was uber American, the can-do guy telling the really big audience what they want to hear. But has he and does he mean any of it? He changes positions to suit the listeners, he only speaks the truth behind closed doors. Sadly for him he own mouth has sunk him because videos of those heart to hearts with his backers are there for all to see and hear. They are a real slap in the face for almost half of the citizens of this country. It's a little disheartening to know he thinks I'm a loser, a burden and need to take responsibility for myself, when I have done that all my life.

When people are getting killed overseas I think it is more than "Just A Bump In The Road" Barry Obama. Your words not mine.

Anonymous said...

BTW the stimulus did work, saved companies and helped thousands keep their jobs. That money was not given without strings attached, it is being paid back.
Presidents do not have control over the price charged for gasoline. Food prices go up under every president. Taxes have not gone up. Several parts of the health care bill have already been implemented and are working beautifully for people of all ages. Fewer people are being refused health insurance. As for unemployment being up-I wonder if that might have been helped by Obama's jobs bill, the one that would put thousands to work repairing our infrstructure, hiring more teachers, police and firefighters, the one that the Republicans constantly vote down in the House of Representatives.
If the Republican Party had not made their priority getting rid of our first black president and instead made American citizen's welfare their priority things might be a bit sunnier in our country?

Whoah! I stumbled back onto this thread after being gone for a day and wow! Didn't realize it had turned political. I did watch the debate last night. There are still two more Pres. debates to go. Anything can happen. I do know that a country CANNOT be run like a business. The structure, goals and strategies are entirely different. Just because someone has run a company successfully, it doesn't mean they can run a country the same way. First of all, the CEO of a company can call the shots and do things his own way. A President does not have that power. There is a separation of powers in our government for a reason. It's so that we don't have tyrants and kings running the country. We have checks and balances. Sure, this hinders progress sometimes, but it also keeps things balanced.

Here' what we say at my house:

Hold your arms out to the sides as far as you can. This big span represents the promises that a candidate says he can keep. Now bring your arms in to about two inches apart. That's the reality of what a president can actually do. Any president, regardless of party. Unlike the workers in a company, the Congress does not have to do what the President says. They can debate and vote. The campaign is far from over.

Good grief. I don't have time to get into this discussion ( I really don't: I'm just popping in for a minute..) as much as I would LOVE to...but a couple of comments:

1. President Obama has, at least in the past been a member of the United Church of Christ (Congregational), a denomination that supports its GLBT members and celebrates diversity. And supports Marriage Equality, among other things..and was one of the first to do so, long before others did. I know this very well because I am a member (currently inactive..) of this denomination.. although I'm not very "religious"...I appreciate and respect all religious faiths and spiritualities. I care more about the person and how they treat others, not what religion they are..or are not...

2. President Obama is a Christian. Not Muslim. Please.

3. Politically, I support the goals and the platform of the Democratic Party.. I also do not support Mitt Romney in any way, shape or form. My vision of America for my child and the future generations is much more supported by the Democratic party than the Republican Party. You can talk until you are blue in the face, trying to convince me that the Republican vision for America , particularly the Far Right, is the right one.. and you aren't going to convince me of that. Ever. I've lived through enough decades, administrations, and real life to know what I believe. I know I won't change your mind either...We agree to disagree.

By the way..If President Obama was Muslim..that's fine too....What difference does it make..

I just have to jump in here and say:

do you folks notice... that the people posting here who seem to, by evidence of their postings, seem to probably favor the democratic platform, have written/posted in a more reasoned, less snarky manner?? Therein lies a big "bottom line" moment for me, in terms of current republican vs. current democratic "feel". Quietly extreme vs. Openly passionate yes, but reasonable. Just saying. Read back through thread... you'll see some snark, and that tenor comes from those who don't support "Barry Obama" (snark example for you :))... and you'll see some snark from the other side too, but interspersed with a whole bunch of "reasonable" too, imho. This thread is the first time I have ever posted on this site. I did so because I'm so tired of the constant republican/conservative bashing that goes on on this site. It's somehow my fault that Adam doesn't get played on the radio. I found it shameful for you to have taken this particular thread about bullying to re-up your game. Comments made before by republicans are always in response to those made by liberals. Why do you feel it necessary to even go in a political direction here?

I will make some comments about a few of the above posts and then possibly you will understand what it is for ME to be conservative.

I find it offensive to use the term "teabaggers" on a site devoted to a gay man.

If I don't believe in God, I don't go to church. If a liberal doesn't believe in God, they don't want ANYONE to go to church.

I received two stimulus checks from the US Government each in the amount of $600. This was called "Quantitative Easing 1 and 2." I sent them both back because I didn't feel I earned the money. If you didn't send your checks back, then all of the stimulus hasn't been repaid.

Nobama said...

Sandra Fluke (the 30 year old college student who spoke before congress) wants contraception paid for by the government. Who is the government? You are. I am. I paid for my birth control when I was of child bearing age. Most liberals think that abortion is ok. I don't think abortion is ok if it is used as a means of contraception which is exactly what Ms. Fluke wants. She wants all women to have free (government paid) abortions. If there has been rape or incest or if carrying a child in the womb would be life threatening to the woman, then an abortion would be necessary in the first trimester. Under no circumstance do I agree with partial birth or the gentler term for it - "late term" abortion where the mother goes into labor and when the baby's head crowns, the doctor places a vacuum tube on the baby's soft spot and sucks out its brain. The woman then goes through with the delivery of a dead baby. I hope that was not too graphic. It is what it is.

I was laid off from my job of 21 years. I was scared, but since I had always lived within my means, I tightened my belt and went job hunting immediately. Luckily I found one after only two months. My heart breaks for the 23 million people out of work and those who have had their houses foreclosed and the 47 million Americans now on food stamps.

I remember watching the night of President Obama's inauguration and thinking how far this country has come. It was with pride that I watched this historic moment. Far too soon I realized that if I didn't agree with his policies, I would be called "racist." I have never been racist. I've always believed in equality for everyone.

I have been stunned by some of the comments made by Mr. Obama:

"Under my plan, electricity costs will necessarily skyrocket."

"Well I guess those jobs weren't so shovel ready after all" and his laughter that followed.

The "bumps in the road" comment made after his own appointed Ambassador to Libya, the ambassador's aide and two navy seals were slaughtered was inexcusable.

Yes my pride that a black man had been elected president of this country faded quite soon...not because of his color, but because of this particular black man and where he is taking this country. I don't want a president who bows to the King of Saudi Arabia or to anyone. I want a leader who thinks this is the greatest country in the world and who won't lead from behind. I want a president who doesn't think that the muslim morning call to prayer is the most beautiful thing he has ever heard.

I want someone I can respect, not someone who thinks he's a rock star and whose followers think he's cool.

There is an old saying that goes: "Feed a man a fish and you will feed him forever. Teach a man to fish and he will feed himself." I don't think Mr. Obama read the second sentence. The more "fish" he feeds to the populace, the more dependent they become on him and in the end the more votes they bestow upon him and his party.

These are just a few reasons why I am concervative.

If Bush had done 1/10 of what Obama has done, the liberal media would have crucified him. Check and see the executive orders Obama has signed in the dead of night on a Friday, on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. You'll be astonished at what you don't know.

I thought this was an ADAM site. WTF? Go post on MSNBC or better yet, FOX. They don't know how to report the truth anyway!

The problem with presidential elections is that they reek of mendacity. This one stinks worse than any in quite a few years, but big whoppers were tossed around in electing all of our presidents....
except one! That was George Washington, he ran unopposed! JAK

Home from a stay at the beach, tan and serene so I'm not going to read any of the above. I'm feeling cool and breezy and I want to stay that way.

I found Nobama's post at:

October 4, 2012 3:55 PM

to be more upsetting and dangerous than any of his/her previous ones on this thread. Oh yes, it was illuminative, in a way that leaves me a little sad actually.

I should have also said it is not my intention to be a bully, by all means, post, please do post more, especially about Adam, lol, we are all entitled to our opinions of course, and you seem, as much as one can tell from an entertainment blog, like a good person... I just found your views, and your post at 3:55pm as part of the problem and not the solution Just my opinion, had to add it, no bullying of you intended. Be well.

Doctors in the US have just perfected a badly needed surgery; during this innovative operation the doctor inserts a pane of glass into the patient's abdominal wall so they can see where they are going with their head up their ass.
