Yep!! Adam was and IS sensational:)

cool I was afraid to watch it, him and his brother are very creative.

For me season 8 with Adam was the best and nothing since then nor any of the winners can compare to his vocal talent and stage presence. I've been catching some of the new season, but really cannot stand to watch it. The talent is nothing special yet and the immature, sniping, ridiculous comments from Minaj at Carey, just ruin the show. Her voice also is annoying when she speaks. Cut these audition shows to one hour and only show a few of them before getting to Hollywood. No wonder the viewership is down. Adam Lambert set the bar so high with his performances that I am usually disappointed watching the shows each week and have virtually given up on this season.

props to the camera guy for providing Adam's name - BUT WHO ELSE COULD IT BE? great clip - Adam is well known and appreciated by people who can't be strictly classified as Glamberts - but are nonetheless in awe of his talent. yahoo.

OT - Some guy Nikki nicknamed "mushroom" just attemped to sing IIHY. Super bombed, but any time Adam's name and songs are mentioned, someone who may not know him goes to Youtube. More fans are being born as we speak.

After you heard the mess he sang boy to you realize how good Adam is! Gave Adam good publicity! Only watched this time to see could catch that boy who talked about Adam! I was busy and extremely bored about to turn it off and then Adam's song, and this character! They did play the song with Adam singing while talking to RS! nM voice is so weird she talks through her nose! Publicity for Adam, glad I watched for that!bur this show is boring KU cute. It not enough to carry it! Talent not near has good as they are making it out to be! Only will watch a bit to catch that boy, curious to Hos talent one talked about Adam so nice in video! There just so much u can take to get to the good stuff, I sure not watching much first time watch more than ten minutes, not at all last week! Worth it for the IIHY thing! Sue

A couple of black girl singers caught my attention, probably Top 12, S12 material/voice/style. Strangely enough, even with some rather less popular remarks, I like Nicki Minaj. In her own way, she's straight forward and sincere in her critiques, though at times based on emotions; she has an open mind. For example she spoke up against the other two judges whom she thought coerced the contestants with regard to their genres of songs and the type of singers they were. I tend to agree with her on that point. Mariah is also good in her judgements, due to her huge experiences. By the way, Mariah sang at the Singapore F1 races and she, according to reports looked very big, pregnant with her twins. She fell on stage, got up with some help and carried on till the end of her performance with her effervescent smile. Adam came on next, close to an hour's performance and blew the stage up, the girls were screaming their lungs out. lol!

Someone got on here other day said do not give to the water chairity, some people handling it was taking the money for themselves just couple days ago! That sure did not help any! Sue

This birthday charity is not the water charity it is donors choose and it seems to have been around a while.Totally different places.

Ok, I'll admit it. I really don't know who this Peter is. A director? Please tell me. Anyway, he sure did remember Adam! If he is a director, he should put Adam in one of his movies. I have no intention of watching Idol. There will always be some good singers on the show, but it just has no appeal for me anymore.

Pretty sure last te I will watch it, only good part the Adam thing just because Adam song! Only way he'd a few minutes first night, and wanted to see if that boy that talked about Adam! I was very bored about to turn it off when Adam part came on! Adam just had so much more than the good singer's types have now, he had so many more things going for him, and best voice out there! I did not watch it at all lady week! Even to see that boy, talked about Afam, it's too boring and painful! NM voice gets on my last nerve, I am sure she cannot help it, but it as annoying ad RJ shirt! MC good singer but just an average personality, nothing special Urban ok, but not watch just for him! The talents not that earth shattering, until they do suprise things every week like Adam did, so much good fun it was! To me it's nothing special, I did like the Adam song, but you sure could not call that singing! Go vote, if can now, wish it was up here! Sue

Peter Farrelly has a very impressive resume and a very impressive taste in singers .... well, one singer .... the one we all know and love!

I watched the 1st week of Idol but gotta give it a rest till the finalists are chosen because NM is doing my head in plus she and MC talk over each other which is enough to give one a massive headache. I feel sorry for KU being stuck in the middle of them but in the last episode, I noticed that he was sitting next to NM and MC was at the other end of the table so hopefully, it stays that way.

glitzylady, Thanks for the Peter info. I could've looked him up myself, of course, but just didn't get around to it. I've seen a number of the movies he's made. Maybe he'll consider Adam or a role sometime!

DRG (guilty of DWI Done With Idol)

Even though no-one can top adam's season, I do think there is some amazing talent on idol this year. I for one am still watching since day 1- It's easy to DVR it and skip through the nonsence IMO.

Same here, I'm watching Idol to be entertained and there are some good singers as above poster said.

I haven't seen anyone on Idol this season yet that to me really stands out, but I still love Idol, much better than X factor or The Voice. Am liking the new judges. I don't think they'll ever find me a new Adam, don't want one either, but as an entertaining tv programme, its great.

This season is already looking better than the last 2 or 3.
