I love the way he tilts his head and looks sideways - it's bewitching.

he looked great during this interview.

He is addressed as...mei kwor/America...oh siang/Idol...ti par chi/Season 8; American Idol Season 8...never followed by runner-up so I don't know what that word sounds like in Mandarin. lol! Yea Adam looks so professional; AI judge next season, mentor also and perform his new single. By the way, Amber comes a close second to Adam in regard to AI, all seasons inclusive...beautiful voice and can handle jazz really well and pop rock etc. So in this respect regarding versatility and voice quality, Amber is my choice; but she has been in bottom 3 and as far as I remember no winner has ever been in a bottom 3 situation. My guess is either Angie, my preference or Kree will win. Candace is a very soulful singer, plausible winner too.

Did not think the duet "Stay" on AI tonight was great:(
Randy & the judges are raving over it!
call me bias, I still prefer Adam's version anytime!
Adam's vocals gets me all the time!!!soooooo good!!!

Leilani Aloha you are so right! I did not like their version of Stay after hearing Adam hit every note perfectly. gini

Candice and Angie are exceptionally great singers, but I didn't care for the arrangement of that duet at all. I'm not being biased, I just think Adam's soulful ballad version was more effective with his tender vocals and subdued expressions. Angie tonight sounded to me like Kelly Clarkson, Amber shined and Kree didn't grab me as much as previous performances. I think Candice is a throwback to the greats of old, like Shirley Bassey. She has such a powerful voice, but her songs tonight also didn't blow me away like previous weeks. They all should have stellar careers. Adam remains no.#1 for me, but these ladies raised the bar.

Personally I'd like to see an Amber / Angie finale showdown...will be very exciting, youthful, vibrant. And Adam should be invited to grace the occasion perhaps duet with Amber.

Among the four, I have no appreciation for Candice voice and her singing. She might be talented in embellishing her delivery of a tune but I just couldn't care for it. Won't buy her record and won't go to her concert.
The other three are good for me. I think Amber is the whole package, sexy and charismatic with star quality. Have never seen a black Idol contender with this kind of charismatic star quality and sings effortlessly with no care in the world. She simply looks like she's just enjoying singing, not competing unlike Candice and Angie.
But I love Kree and would buy her record.

I actually watched Idol last night and all the girls can sing. Angie in particular is very talented but I personally think the it factor is missing. I get no emotional reaction to any of them. All the standing ovations and lack of real critiquing does not help. I still found the show boring and my attention kept wondering.

2 HOT pics with this award article. I don't think I've ever seen either one of them.

They don't care who they give standing O's

I don't think last night was the best for the girls on Idol. Kree,
Amber, and Candace I like equally. Anyone can win. For some reason, Angie leaves me a little cold and no one has the ADAM factor, (better known as the IT factor). Adam's grace, charm, intelligence, performance, and overall talent comes but once in a lifetime. Listening to Stay made me sad when I think of the way Adam sings it. I wish he could perform on Idol. One last note, did anyone see Fantasia sing Lose to Win on Idol? She sang and took us all to church! It touched my heart and brought back a lot of good memories about her on AI. Amen sister!....nancdruuu2

Agree with 4:32 and everyone else that is saying no it factor..they are talented but no wow factor..the songs are so dead..someone needs to liven thing up on idol...if Randy says inittowinit one more time I am done for this season...dont care who wins they are about the same...

For this Top 4 week, I think Angie won overall; Amber, Candace, Kree respectively; just my point of view. The most fashionable, with poise is Amber. I think S12 at least gives S8 a good run for the money. Keith Urban keeps telling them to choose a song that brings out their inner self, he kept reiterating it; and I thought, well Adam did just that week after week. So in this respect they could not match Adam. But their voices are superb! especially Angie's last song, that might boost an S12 win for her. Yea I'd like to see an Angie/Amber showdown.

Hey M!
Yea I think those two songs are fantastic, both my favourites. Kind of miss Sauli a bit. He must be very busy filming. I hope it is a stepping stone towards attaining his goal.

Since some are weighing in on the Final Four on American Idol, I'll jump in too. My husband & I have watched most of the season (missed the previous 2 weeks due to being out of town etc..) and even the two of us have different favorites. He has always been most excited about Amber. He loves her vocals and he thinks she is stunningly gorgeous. She has the IT factor for him apparently :)) I've really loved Candice all along. She is so accomplished in her vocals.

However:
...I was REALLY impressed with Angie last night and loved her two songs. I really believe she was the best of the night. Her voice in the last song (Cry Me A River) in particular gave me goosebumps and I loved her Jessie J song earlier. She may very well win the competition if she continues to perform at that level. She's stepping it up just at the right time. Kree is great as well and I have no doubt that she'll have great success in the country world. I think they are all very talented and wish them all well.

All that said, Adam is still my favorite Idol..ever ever ever... :))

I wish Adam was performing on AI at the very end. Lee DeWyze is going to be on tonight. Good grief.

Oh, about the Candice/Angie duet of "Stay" versus the Kree/Amber duet "Rumor Has It". My husband and I both disagreed with the judges when they raved about the "Stay" duet. It WAS very good, but we both thought it was second to the other duet.. But it's not the first time this season we've disagreed with the judges... I do realize that they may hear it differently in the theater than we do on TV. I also suspect that Adam's version of "Stay" has perhaps ruined me for other interpretations. But my hubby hasn't listened to his version multiple times like ...ahem...I may have.., and he thought their version was "over-sung", just like I did.. All in all, I suppose its just a matter of preference and opinion in the long run.

@6:46 what in the world is Lee going to sing tonight. he was dropped from his label so I don't get why he is on. I wish Adam would be on so they could say all the things he has been doing.I know Adam said he will not be on,he has nothing to promote. What he has to promote his his perfect voice and the it factor!

IMO

1. Mariah is too worried about how she sounds and not what she says.

2. Randy, dawg and dude shouldn't be applied to girls. And In it to win it is so passe. Wise up dawg.

3. Cute Kieth is right more than he is wrong. I love the way he says baibee. He wants to feel the song in his heart and remarks when he doesn't.

4. Nikki is going to praise you to the heavens or she is going to stick the knife in your gut and turn it a few times for good measure.

The only one who gives good advice and tells the contestants what they could do to improve is Nikki.
However, she must remain the bitch while Mariah is always the diva. Randy and Kieth look like they're going to a barbeque, Nikki (while I personally don't care for her style) is usually dressed like a judge, Mariah, ever the diva, wears the latest too tight red carpet gown. They do not look like a cohesive unit.

Remember this is JMO and I feel so relieved to have gotten it off my chest.

Why is it that article writers who no longer call Adam gay insist upon saying he is flamboyant? That word describes Johnnie the dancer and not Adam.

M, wow you have picked two brilliant songs for his next single over there.

Lee has a new single just been released to Itunes yesterday.

Glitzy, I didn't like the Stay duet at all on Idol this week, thought the Rumour has it one was great. Didn't agree with Nicki at all about her comments on Kree with the duet.

adam lambert can sing anything beautifully- love it love it love it.

I don't understand the commenters here of Idol contestants then mention how no one can ever match Adam.
Well, I don't even mention ADAM at all because to me he is TOTALLY of a different league and should not be mentioned in the same sentence with any other contestants on that stage.
Don't diminish his star value, leave him out and that's giving respect. Adam is royalty.

@2:46pm: Thank you for stating my sentiments for me-lol! I also love the way Keith says baybe. I've had Adam call me that & I'll always treasure it, but the way Keith sounds with that accent comes in a close second! Wouldn't mind being the recipient of that;)
