That was a perfect review of Adam and Angie's duet!Norman Byrd really got it! I have watched the duet so many times I can't count,it gives me chills every time. I thought Stay when Adam covered it was like that but this duet has surpassed that. I think because of the way Adam interacts with Angie,his focus,his flow and harmonies,just a masterpiece for sure. 222,000 + views on you tube now. Keep giving it hits.

Wow! What an amazing article! Thanks JAK and glitz. It seems like Adam is getting as much positive feedback from that performance as Angie is. What a novelty for a performer to get praise for his restraint? Adam is getting so many kudos for this performance. Hope lots of new fans sit up and take notice.

Thanks for that article I had not seen it. Wow, that gave me chills to read. Sometimes I think it is only Adam's die hard fans that can see him the way that was described in the article. How validating that others in the media/critics actually see what a genuine Super Star inside and out that he really is. That article made my day!

Would love to see Adam get major attention with the AI performance.
Good luck to Angie too but it's all about Adam getting recognition in the US far as I can see.

Why are people surprised? He has always been a perfect gentleman, bowing to triumph of others, offering his immense talent behind the scenes to make others look their best and standing quietly while other's take the praise. That, and he, are truly lovely but just once ..... just once I would like to see some revered, top star go toe to toe with his voice, power and ability. Nobody ever has and may never. They are Sceeeeeered!! and they should be. He could blow ANYBODY off the stage (should he choose to do so) and they know it!! To be shown up by this young, sexy, controversial, raging talent would be a serious blow to their fragile careers ...... so note:
even though he has expressed openness to it numerous times, it has never happened and I would be shocked if it ever does......

I so agree with your comments @coloforadam 9:46AM. Adam's duet with Angie was the best performance of the finale on Idol. I would love to see him perform a duet with Pink, ChristinaA or KellyC. All are powerful singers and I am sure he would shine in any collabo with one of them. He outperformed the pre-recorded, lip synching Mariah and the hyped dance number from JLO. And without an introduction, once Adam sang those first notes of Titanium, the audience went wild with applause. Hopefully something positive will come from this duet with Angie and Adam's career will soar with the release of his third album.

I agree. I know you have been posting on and off here for a long time (because I have as well, lol ;)) and I'm glad you came out of lurking to make your post! I agree. I wish I didn't agree, 'ya know, but, heavy sigh, I do. However, having said all of that, as I mentioned in a post on the "Taylor Hicks" thread, I never say never!! :).
