Adam is the only choice. He is the BEST!!!
JH - already signed this diva - bad choice
KC - wonderful singer but declined
CA - worst choice ever; arrogant divo
If AI screws Adam around again and does what they did last year to him, that show is at death's door.
Getting rid of that jerk Nigel Lithgoe who was so rude to Glamberts last year was a good move.
Adam wants it, is positive, smart, and articulate.
Vote for him & hope AI is wiser this year.

Voted.....but i swear to God, if CA beats out Adam for this job ( assuming they're both offered the job, which we'll probably never really know.....) i'll NEVER watch Idol again.
NEVER.

You said it!!!! CA no Adam I won't watch either ....rose petal

I voted but I also secretly wish that Adam would not be so interested in becoming a judge on that show. He is becoming increasingly recognized worldwide not because of AI but for his own endeavours and talent. Why want to be reassociated with AI? Don't get it.

Personally, they could all do a decent job, they all appear to be comfortable in their own skin and have been around enough to pass on valuable info(especially since they have all gone through the process). That being said, I prefer that Adam not get the gig only because I haven't seen anyone (in the past few years)that has taken a judging position and come off looking good (oh, with the exception of maybe Keith Urban). Just an opinion.

Kelly has already stated she is not interested, she wasnt interested last year, when will they get that in their head.

Adam wants the job, give it to him, why cant it be that easy?

Adam has said he was interested in being a judge on Idol, so why not offer it to him? No, that would be the sensible thing to do and the "suits" did so well last season with Nicki and Mariah, right? paying out all those millions to see the show drop in the ratings. I doubt this People vote will mean anything, but Adam would be the right choice since he is so articulate, insightful and honest. Let's see what happens. Has Adam even been offered the job or is it just wishful thinking on our part? Stop putting out the names of people who are not even interested (KC). I wouldn't mind seeing Keith back. I think he did a decent job and I love to hear him say "baby".

Last year, Adam was semi-promised the job verbally I believe. Remember when he said in interviews that he has a job. Well, then Mariah said she would not do it without her friend, Randy. So Randy was back in the mix. That is when Adam unfollowed the diva witch Mariah. So yes, he had it verbally in the bag but MC insisted and Adam was out. If CA gets it I will never watch that show again. It is bad enough JH is definite. No one I know likes her. Adam is likeable!!!

Since Adam wants the job I want it for him. Please no Clay,I know Kelly said no,but think she would have been good. You guys are right ,it should be simple Adam wants it so sign him, he will be amazing. Just don't want AI to string Adam along like last year!

I'm not so sure being a part of American Idol is the right move for Adam. I think AI is a sinking ship and is probably at the end of its run. I would hate to see it go down on his watch.

There is zero reason to believe that Adam was offered the job last year. The hollywood reporter which has very good sources reported pretty early on that he wasn't on top of their list. Adam is just always optimistic and kept hoping.

I didnt want Adam on Idol this year and am now more convinced it would be a bad move on his part. Dont think JHudson has the right personality for the job and Aiken is a little twerp who I really dont like. Idol is way past its prime and should be put out of its misery. Of course IMO and respect all those posters here who have a different POV. . . . Adamluv

To clarify my comment - "this year" meaning the season just ended. . . . Adamluv

gift idea. I just bought TP deluxe on Amazon for $5.29.I cannot find it in a store anywhere.

1:41 Adam did say he had an interview with them but nothing ever became of it.

American Idol may be back for another season but it will definitely be its last, IMO. I kind of hope Adam wouldn't want to be part of a show that has lost its attraction.

These polls didn't decide the judges last time and they won't this time.

I agree that idol is on its way out....but I'd still like to see Adam get the job as judge for 2 reasons.... The first is completely selfish.... I want thrill of tuning into idol each week to see him .... but the second is vuz he wants it ....also I was hoping if America could see his wit and charm week after week maybe the would be more interested in his music....rose petal

I liked Clay when he was on AI, but on Celebrity Apprentice he was so arrogant that I couldn't stand him. Keith said he wants to come back. How about Adam, Keith and JHud. The two sweet guys could balance out JHud's snarkiness.

I predict JH, Keith, and Bieber

if american idol dies they will blame adam

Let's keep in mind where these polls and suggestions are coming from and that American Idol has not said anything official. They are not jerking Adam around if they have not considered him and all this speculation is coming from fans and celebrity magazines and websites.

Bieber...you've got to be kidding. He can't seem to get his own life together right now so how could he intelligently give advice to someone else. He is much too young and inarticulate as far as I am concerned. As a fan of Adam, I would love to see him as a judge every week becasue I think he has so much to offer having been through the process just as JHud. Adam would like the job, so why not offer it to him? Make a decision and let the public know he is being considered or end all the rumors and let us know he is not being considered.Frankly, I would rather that Adam works on his third album so we have something new by this fall from him.

Adam should be considered. But they use his name to attract attention and excitements. And then they don't offer it to him. How could they want CA? Arrogant big time. But then that would fit right in with that horrible JH. AI should just go away. And it will of CA is chosen. JH was a dumb decision. No personality whatsoever - self promotion too. I love Kelly and Adam - nice, interesting people. Rest suck.

NO ADMA LAMBERT NO AMRICAN IDOL-LET THE AMERICAN IDOL DIE BY ITSELF-WITH OUT ADMA LAMBERT-

If Adam is offered to be judge, I hope he accepts only on his terms.

Idol isn't going to say anything because they are getting tons of free publicity from this, as does Adam by having his name so frequently mentioned. I'm not going to stress about this.

I personally love that Adam is getting the media attention, whether he is selected or not. Getting his name back out there is a good thing. IF Idol can make some wise decisions regarding judges, mentors/coaches, format.. I think it could be a huge and positive career boost for Adam. He can still work on his new music/album, do some concerts here and there, AND give America and the World a chance to see what they got a hint of on Season 8. That he is articulate, witty, encouraging but with a desire to critique with emphasis on helping the contestants to improve their vocal and stage performances. I really feel that he'd be fair yet honest. So now we wait and see. If he isn't selected I'm not going to freak out either. I just hope the Universe is looking out for Adam again this time around, :))

I was reading some of the comments on this poll. It is so transparent where many of them are coming from, the really nasty ones I believe are not from Clay fan base maybe a few but not in general.

Adam's open and honest wish to judge Idol is something no one has ever done, at least not publicly. Someone said that was not smart to be so vocal as he would lose face if he didn't get the job. Or he should not have been so eager so as to maneuver a fatter pay.

I thought Adam's answer was inspired, as he could not have given a more innocent but calculating response. Innocent, because losing face is never the stuff of boldness, and because his answer made the job, not money, the motivation. The irony of Adam's response is that, although it was not intended, the answer effectively maneuvered Adam in the game as contender, a move that, if not for its spontaneity, could not have been more calculated for its effect. As it was, Adam's answer was curiously in the form of a question, "If I am asked...where do I sign?". In turning the answer into a question, Adam plants in our minds the notion of a "done deal", where all he needs to do is sign, and leads us to believe it's not a matter of "if", but of "when" he is asked, a much more affirming answer. Sometimes I can't make up my mind if Adam is childlike or Machiavellian.

It's still Idol's call to make, but also, as we know, a call to break, for another year without Idol's most famous face in the judges' lineup would need a lot of explaining when Idol finds itself up the creek without a paddle. atm

I want Adam to be a judge on Idol for selfish reasons...I want to feel the thrill again of tuning in weekly to Idol to feast my eyes on Adam Lambert! But as an added bonus of him being a judge, we get to hear this intelligent, articulate, witty but fair and honest man speak! This is real inspiration.

Of course all the weekly media attention, interviews, photo opportunities and possible chances to perform/mentor etc. would be great for his career no doubt. I am concerned, though, that Adam would be blamed If the ratings continued to slip. Is Idol a sinking ship really? I just don't know.

Adam wants this job. He is a qualified choice. CA no please. He does not have the personality for this. Adam is tons more charismatic . Again, I want to see him on my TV weekly. This would be something to really look forward to.
